Today we discuss two of the lighter versions of the caped crusader and his surrounding his universe. The Lego Batman Movie spun off from the colossally successful The Lego Movie and was a touching tribute and send-up to the dark knight, whilst Teen Titans Go! To the Movies takes the fabulous TV show and made it even funnier with a host of tuneful gems.

The most recent iteration of the Caped Crusader has been perhaps the most controversial take to date, with plenty of behind the scenes drama. And Not Just For Kids have a lot to discuss about what works and what doesn't work with Zack Snyder's two films featuring Batman.

In the late 80s Tim Burton brought to the screen a pair of Batman films drenched in gothic weirdness. And at the Not Just For Kids Movie Club we love them and had great fun chatting about them.
