Hear about pathways to natural health, alleviations for health challenges (such as ADHD, anxiety, skincare issues, and male + female reproductive organs ailments), and natural remedies used by some Native American tribes.

Imani Kisaye Damali is a clinical herbalist & founder of Sacred Waters Healing Circle, a wellness company created in 2020 dedicated to assisting community to find their path to healing through plant medicines.  Imani’s mother, Sala Damali, was the first to introduce & support her connection to & education of the world of plant medicines.  Imani was inspired to pursue this path by her family’s health needs under the guidance of her godmother Dr. ZaYn Muhammad. Through learning & sharing the ancient wisdom of plant medicines, Imani’s purpose is to serve, inspire & uplift her family & community.

*Ms. Damali also participated in uplifting and preserving the advancement of Native Americans while working with the National Congress of American Indians.*

October is National Youth Justice Action Month (YJAM)

Our 1st Episode of 2023 and new offerings in a youth series, features a Youth Panel comprised of high school students, a college freshman, and parole and probation agent speaking about their experiences, requests to education leaders to make their schools safer, and tips to help students avoid becoming a part of the juvenile justice system.

Read more about the onset of National Youth Justice Action Month and the loss of the McClard family that led to it. This month focuses on improving juvenile detention practices and the laws that govern the sentencing and handling of youth in custody.

We are fortunate to have veterans among us who span far and wide across the globe. Veterans take responsibility for the lives of others when they enlist in the military. They put the safety of others before their own. This is their sworn duty before or if they ever reach a combat zone.

November 11th marks the United States’ celebration of veterans across the six branches of military service. Sancho Education Group and subsidiaries honor the sacrifice of veterans and their dedication to those outside of themselves.

This segment of Bits & Pieces reflects on the lost graves of Native American children and enslaved African Americans that have emerged as a new Call to Ancestral Peace.
