Advice I wish I Knew Sooner
Advice I wish I Knew Sooner
S A U N A I E Presents Advice I wish I knew Sooner
Q U O T E S: When Your instant Reaction to Everything is No, it's Like You're Unleashing a Little Monster that Eats Up All of Life's Possibilities.
2nd: Do Something instead of Killing Time, Because Time is Killing You.
S E G M E N T S: Advice I wish I Knew Sooner & Ways To Keep Your Brain Healthy
#1. A D V I C E
1. Your Mental Health is more important than your Career, Money, Other People's Opinion, that event you said you'd Attend, Your Partner's Mood & Your Family's Wishes. If Taking Care of Yourself Means Letting Someone Down, Then Do it.
2. Don't Attach yourself to a Specific person, place, company, organization or a project. Attach yourself to a Mission, Your Future, & a set of Values.
This is the best way to Follow Your Heart & avoid getting Attached to something that isn't right for you.
3. Love is a Form of Intimacy, & you can't have intimacy without Vulnerability. If your past makes you Avoid Vulnerability, You'll Never Have intimacy. Avoiding Vulnerability feels like Self-Defense, but in the Long Term, it's Self-Harm.
4. 99% of Harm is Caused in your Head By You & Your Thoughts.
- 1% of harm is caused by Reality, What Actually Happens, & The Outcome.
- Most of the Time, The Problem isn't the Problem. The Way You Think about the Problem is.
- You can Fix Most of Your Problems Just by Fixing Your Thoughts.
- If You Want to Feed a Problem, Keep Thinking About it. If yo want to Starve a Problem, Take Action.
- Problems Feed off Worry. Action Kills Anxiety.
5. Nobody is as Successful as Instagram or Tik-Tok makes them look, & Nobody is as Pretty as filters make them seem.
- The Only Healthy, Real & Worthwhile Comparison is Who You Were Yesterday vs Who You Are Today.
- Once you come to that understanding, you'll make Real Progress When You Focus on That.
6. Don't Trust Someone's Words if their Actions Don't Align. Their Words Will Tell You What They Want You To Think.
- Their Actions Will Tell You What They Actually Think.
S E G M E N T #2: Keeping Your Brain Healthy
1. Stimulation: Challenge Your Brain with Puzzles, Games & Reading New Books
2. Exercise: Consistent Physical Exercise will Heal The Brain & Keeps it Fit
3. Proper Diet: Eat Foods with Protein, Unprocessed, Unsaturated Fat, Fruits & Vegetables.
4. Safety: Avoid Head Trauma by Wearing Helmets & Seat Belts
5. Sleep Habits: Our Brains Need Around 7-8 Hours of Sleep to Process & Recharge
6. Learning: Keep Your Brain Young by Learning New things like A Skill, or A Language
7. Switch Routines: Change Habits, it will Surprise Your Brain & Turns off Auto-Pilot
8. Be Social: Interacting will Trigger Brain Processes & Lower Depression
9. Manage Stress: Try Relaxation, as Stress Exhausts Your Brain & Hormones
10. Read Books: Words & Stories Reduce the Risk of Cognitive Decline...
Cognitive Decline: a form of decline in abilities severe enough to interfere with daily life.

Recapping June & July Goals
Recapping June & July Goals
S A U N A I E Presents July Goals & Plans
Q U O T E S: Always Concentrate on How Far You've Come
2nd: Respond Intelligently Even to Unintelligent Treatment.
S E G M E N T S: How was June for SAUNAIE & July Goals
How would I rate June? June overall was a roller coaster month for the podcast, I grade it a C- because I was undisciplined & fell off & that happens when you're constantly focused on staying Relevant & I eventually Grinded Myself out & I'm learning that I need a team to help me. So this month I've been looking for some teammates to take the load off. For anyone out there starting a Business or Currently Running a Business solo start looking to offload tasks to others so that you can put your focus elsewhere. As extremely driven people we think that people would do a good job like us but you have to ask yourself what's more important your Health or Someone fucking up a minor job. June we released 5 episodes & I'm grateful for each episode, I'm between which episode is my favorite because both episodes hit my heart those episodes are "Mental Recharge & Childhood Trauma"
- Childhood Trauma is big to me because I believe that's where who we are stimulates from, Childhood plays a HUGE role in Adulthood, how we were raised, the environments we're raised in, our relationships with our parents & more define who we are today.
https://anchor.fm/saunaie/episodes/Mental-Recharge--Childhood-Trauma-e1jcvei
- The other episode was "Men's Mental Health" this episode I loved because I learned so much about Men's Mental Health & the Statistics were MIND BLOWING, As a Man we hardly open up about how we feel & what we feel & I believe we all need an outlet or venting vessel to relieve that Mental Impact because it's a Heavy Weight To carry. If you haven't heard this informative episode check it out.

S E G M E N T #2: July Goals
1. Start doing Visual episodes
2. More Affiliate Marketing
3. Build A Community & Get to know y'all more
4. E-Book & Courses
When it comes to Goals or Tasks it's about not Overwhelming yourself with what's on your plate, as humans & the era we're in we like to load our plate & sometimes our Eyes are Bigger than Our Mind, We want to do so much in a short time window instead of analyzing our goals & giving them logical time tables. You got this don't overdue it just stay consistent.

Boundaries are a form of Self-Preservation. You can set Physical, Mental, or Emotional Limits with the people in your life to Protect Yourself from Being Used, Abused, Violated, or Manipulated. When you set Boundaries, You Separate who you are, Your Feelings & Thoughts From Those of Others.

- Having a hard time saying no or accepting it when others say no to you
- Taking responsibility for other people’s happiness or feelings
- Taking the responsibility to fix or save others
Setting Healthy Boundaries involves Respecting Other People’s Opinions, ideas, & Personal Space, being able to Say No & Accept being Told No, & being able to communicate your Needs & Wants Effectively.

Debt Don't Live Here Anymore
Debt Don't Live Here Anymore
S A U N A I E Presents D E B T DON'T LiVE HERE ANYMORE
Quotes: Wake Up With Determination & Go to Sleep with Satisfaction.
2nd: Regret is the thing we should fear most. Failure is an Answer. Rejection is an Answer. Regret is an Eternal Question you will never have the answer to.
S E G M E N T S: DEBT DON'T LiVE HERE ANYMORE & 8 Tips
- Americans are BURiED in Debt from Mortgages, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Bills, and Student Loans, and the amount owed in total is on the rise.
- In 2020, Experian reported that the average American owes approximately $92,727 in Total Debt—that's highest amount on record in the U.S.
- Members of Generation X owes about $140,643, followed by Baby Boomers ($97,290) and Millennials ($87,448).
Financial experts often recommend two ways to tackle debt.
- The "Avalanche" method and the "Snowball" method.
- An Avalanche approach means you Pay Off your Loans or Credit Cards with the Highest interest Rates First. You throw as much money as you can at them, and pay only the minimum on all your other loans.
- The Snowball approach has you Tackle the Lowest Amount of Debt First, Pay it Off, and then Tackle the Next Loan.
2ND SEGMENT: Tips On Eliminating Debt
1. F A C E F A C T S
- If you've been trying to make bills vanish by throwing them away unopened, then the 1st step is Accountability. You knew what you signed up for, this isn't your 1st rodeo or maybe it is but avoiding your bills won't make them go away.
- Clear off your Desk or kitchen table and get out all your Loan Statements, Bills, & Budget—basically everything you can think of that relates to your Finances. Start Adding.
2. R E P A Y M E N T
- Not all Debts are Created Equal. When making Your Plan, You'll need to Establish a Hierarchy among Your Debts & make a Plan Of Attack. Experts say to Target the High-interest Debt 1st; Non-Deductible, Low-interest Debt Next; and Tax-Deductible Debt Last.
3. Get The Damage Report
- Check your credit Score and review your credit report for inaccuracies or patterns of bad behavior. You can get your credit rating the same way lenders, and landlords do—from each of the three credit bureaus - Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
4. Gaining Control
- Get rid of Troublesome Accounts and Pay Down your overall debt on time. Use Automatic Payments & Tighten Up your Budget to get your debt under control. This will keep your credit rating from getting worse and, over time, will improve it.
5. Doubling Down
- Whenever possible, Double Up the payments on your highest-interest debt. Although it's not quite as efficient as consolidating, Doubling Up on payments can speed up the payback period. Once you've eliminated the highest-interest debt, double up payments on the next-highest debt. This strategy is called a Debt Avalanche.

What The Debt?
S A U N A I E Presents What The Debt
QUOTES: The Limit isn't the Sky. The Limit is the Mind.

S E G M E N T S: What is Debt? Understanding Debt! Different Types of Debt
What is D E B T? & Understanding Debt
- Debt is usually money, borrowed by one party from another. Debt is used by many corporations and individuals to make large purchases that they couldn't afford under normal circumstances. ( Investopedia Definition )
- Debt is an obligation that requires one party, the debtor, to pay money or other agreed-upon value to another party, the creditor. Debt is a deferred payment, or series of payments, which differentiates it from an immediate purchase. ( Wikipedia Definiton )
- The most common forms of debt are loans, mortgages, auto loans, personal loans, and credit card debt. Under the terms of a loan, the borrower is required to repay the balance of the loan by a certain date, typically several years in the future.
2. T Y P E S OF D E B T
- There are four main categories of debt. Most debt can be classified as either Secured debt, Unsecured debt, Revolving debt, or a Mortgage.
1. S E C U R E D D E B T is collateralized debt. Debtees usually require the collateral to be property or assets with a large enough value to cover the amount of the debt. Examples of collateral include cars, houses, boats, securities, and investments. These items are pledged as security and the agreement is created with a lien.
2. U N S E C U R E D D E B T is debt that does not require collateral as security. The creditworthiness and the debtor's ability to repay are reviewed before consideration. Since no collateral is issued, the debtor's credit profile is the primary factor used in determining their Approval.
3. R E V O L V I N G D E B T is a line of credit or an amount that a borrower can continuously borrow from. In other words, the borrower may use funds up to a certain amount, pay it back, and borrow up to that amount again.
4. M O R T G A G E S is a debt issued to purchase real estate, such as a house or condo. It is a form of secured debt as the subject real estate is used as collateral against the loan.

Do You Know How To Budget?
Do You Know How To Budget?
S A U N A I E Presents the 50 30 20 RULE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR HOST XO
Quotes: Look Back At How Far You've Come.
2nd: If You Live to Please Others, Everyone will Love You Except Yourself.
S E G M E N T S: 50 30 20 RULE
Fun Fact: Senator Elizabeth Warren popularized the so-called "50/20/30 budget rule" (sometimes labeled "50-30-20") in her book, All Your Worth: The Ultimate Lifetime Money Plan. The basic rule is to divide up after-tax income and allocate it to spend: 50% on needs, 30% on wants, and putting away 20% for savings. Referencing over 20 years of research, Warren and Tyagi conclude that you don’t need a complicated budget to get your finances in check. All you need to do is balance your money across your needs, wants and savings goals by using the 50/30/20 rule.
50%: Needs
Needs are those bills that you absolutely must pay and are the things necessary for survival. These include rent or mortgage payments, car payments, groceries, insurance, health care, minimum debt payment, and utilities. These are your "must-haves." The "needs" category does not include items that are extras, such as HBO, Netflix, Starbucks, and dining out.
30% ON WANTS
Wants are all the things you spend money on that are not absolutely essential. This includes dinner, going to the movies, that new handbag, tickets to sporting events, vacations, the latest electronics, and ultra-high-speed Internet. Anything in the "wants" bucket is optional if you boil it down. You can work out at home instead of going to the gym, cook instead of eating out, or watch sports on TV instead of getting tickets to the game.
20%: Savings
Finally, try to allocate 20% of your net income to savings and investments. This includes adding money to an emergency fund in a bank savings account, making IRA contributions to a mutual fund account, and investing in the stock market. You should have at least three months of emergency savings on hand in case you lose your job or an unforeseen event occurs. After that, focus on retirement and meeting other financial goals down the road.

5 Keys To Financial Literacy
5 Keys To Financial Literacy
5 KEYS of Financial Literacy
Q U O T E S: "If you don't get out of the box you've been raised in, you won't understand how much bigger the world is."
2nd: Loyalty is Everything, but Everything isn't Loyal.
5 K E Y S of F i n a n c i a l L i t e r a c y
1. E A R N: Before you can start Spending, Saving, and investing, you need to know how much money you make. If you make the same amount each month, this part is pretty easy. Take a good look at your paycheck to identify your gross and net income, and note any other deductions, such as employer-sponsored health insurance or a retirement plan.
2. S P E N D: Creating A Personal Budget
A Personal Budget is just a plan for how you want to spend your money, but it’s also the most useful tool for achieving your Financial Goals. To create a Monthly Personal Budget, you’ll need to track your spending over the course of 1 month, and then break everything down into categories. as in the popular 50/30/20 budgeting rule.
3. S A V E: Determining Your Financial Goals
Everyone knows it’s important to save money, but it’s hard to spend less than you earn without specific financial goals to work towards. Your financial goals will depend on your unique situation.
4. B O R R O W: Credit Cards, Loans & Credit Score
Even if you’re a Diligent Saver, at some point you may have to borrow money to cover a large expense like a home or car. Maybe you borrowed money as a college student and are currently dealing with student loans or credit card debt.
5. P R O T E C T: Preventing Fraud & Buying Insurance
Once you’ve set yourself up with a solid budget and investment strategy, it’s important to protect the money that you’ve made. This means regularly reviewing your bank accounts and credit card statements for mistakes or suspicious activity; keeping documents and passwords secure to prevent scams and identity theft; and buying the right kind of insurance to protect yourself in the event of an emergency.

Bank Accounts & Emergency Funds
Bank Accounts & Emergency Funds
Q U O T E S: The answer will come to you if you have unwavering Faith
2nd: I've come to believe that all my past failure & frustration were actually laying the foundation for the understandings that have created the new level of living I now enjoy.
T O P I C S: Personal Finance & Bank Accounts, & Emergency Funds
Personal Finance: is where financial literacy translates into individual financial decision-making. How do you manage your money? Which savings and investment vehicles are you using? Personal finance is about making and meeting your financial goals—whether owning a home, helping other members of your family, saving for your children’s college education, supporting causes that you care about, planning for retirement, or anything else. Among other topics, it encompasses banking, budgeting, handling debt and credit, and investing.
Bank accounts are typically the first financial account that you’ll open and are necessary for major purchases and life events.
An Emergency Fund is not a specific type of bank account but can be any source of cash that you’ve saved to help you handle financial hardships like job losses, medical bills, or car repairs.
Where do I put my Emergency Fund?
- A Savings Account with a high interest rate and easy access. Because an emergency can strike at any time, having quick access is crucial. So it shouldn’t be tied up in a long-term investment fund. But the account should be separate from the bank account you use daily, so you’re not tempted to dip into your reserves.
- A High-Yield Savings Account is a good place for your money. It is federally insured up to $250,000 per depositor, so it’s safe. The money earns interest, and you can access your cash quickly when needed, whether through withdrawal or a funds transfer.

QUOTES: Your speed doesn't matter. Forward is forward. Keep taking those small steps. & you'll surprise even yourself with your amazing progress.
2nd: Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen
What Is Financial Literacy?
Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Financial literacy is the foundation of your relationship with money, and it is a lifelong journey of learning. The earlier you start, the better off you will be because education is the key to success when it comes to money when you have educated yourself, Many people find money matters intimidating but they don’t have to be.
Understanding Financial Literacy
In recent decades financial products and services have become increasingly widespread throughout society. Whereas earlier generations of Americans may have purchased goods primarily in cash, various credit products are popular today, such as credit and debit cards and electronic transfers. Indeed, a 2019 survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco showed that consumers preferred cash payments in only 22% of transactions, favoring debit cards for 42% and credit cards for 29%.

What Are Happy Hormones?
What Are Happy Hormones?
Q U O T E S: You started this Journey for a reason, Never forget it.
2nd: You can't change the past, you can only make decisons today to help how your future turns out.
S E G M E N T S: What Are Happy Hormones & How To Hack Them, March Recap & April Goals
H a p p y H o r m o n e s
1. Dopamine. AKA the “feel-good” hormone, is a hormone and neurotransmitter that’s an important part of your brain’s reward system. Dopamine is associated with pleasurable sensations, This could be eating a great meal, listening to inspiring music, getting a massage, or completing a workout. The release of dopamine gives feelings of well-being and motivates you to seek things you enjoy and do well, along with learning, & memory, motor system function.
We know Dopamine is a triggered when you do something well. Make sure you regularly incorporate things you enjoy and do well, into your life.
2. Serotonin. This hormone (and neurotransmitter) helps regulate your mood as well as your sleep, appetite, digestion, learning ability, and memory. Additionally, it helps decrease our worries and concerns.
Serotonin is naturally triggered by regular things we can do each day – going for a walk in the sunshine, getting a good night’s sleep, spending time in nature or self-care activities that reduce stress levels.
3. Oxytocin. Often called the “love hormone,” oxytocin is essential for childbirth, breastfeeding, and strong parent-child bonding. This hormone can also help promote trust, empathy, and bonding in relationships, and oxytocin levels generally increase with physical affection like kissing, cuddling, and sex.
4. Endorphins. Endorphins are your body’s natural pain reliever, which your body produces in response to stress or discomfort. Endorphin levels also tend to increase when you engage in reward-producing activities, such as eating, working out, or having sex.
2ND SEGMENT M E N T A L H E A L T H H A C K S
1. Exercise has multiple physical health benefits. It can also have a positive impact on emotional well-being.
If you’ve heard of a “runner’s high,” you might already know about the link between exercise and endorphin release.
2. L A U G H
Of course, laughter won’t treat ongoing health issues. But it can help relieve feelings of anxiety or stress, and improve a low mood by boosting dopamine and endorphin levels.
3. C O O K (and enjoy) a favorite meal with a loved one
This tip could — in theory — boost all 4 of your happy hormones.
The enjoyment you get from eating something delicious can trigger the release of dopamine along with endorphins. Sharing the meal with someone you love, and bonding over meal preparation, can boost oxytocin levels.
4. L i S T E N to M u s i c
Music can give more than one of your happy hormones a boost.
5. M E D i T A T E
If you’re familiar with meditation, you might already know of its many wellness benefits — from improving sleep to reducing stress.

Improving Your Mental Health
Improving Your Mental Health
Q U O T E S: I am becoming Better With each day
2nd: Don't let your happiness fall victim to your overthinking.
S E G M E N T: Ways to improve Your Mental Health
We've discussed What's Mental Health?, Myths & Facts About Mental Health, What Factors Affect Your Mental Health, & our most recent episode we covered The Different Mental Disorders, and with this episode we'll be covering "Ways Improve Your Mental Health"
1. Make Social Connection A Priority
- Face to Face is key when making a social connection. Phone calls and social networks have their place, but few things can beat the mood-boosting power of quality face-to-face time with other people. Strong family ties and supportive friends can help you deal with the stresses of life. Friends and family can make you feel included and cared for. They can offer different views from whatever’s going on inside your own head. They can help keep you active, keep you grounded and help you solve practical problems. In-person social interaction with someone who cares is one of the most effective ways to calm your nervous system and relieve stress.
2. Exercise
- Staying active is as good for the brain as it is for the body. Regular exercise or activity can have a major impact on your mental and emotional health, relieve stress, improve memory, and help you sleep better.
Exercise also keeps your other vital organs healthy.
Experts say most people should do about 30 minutes’ exercise at least five days a week.
Exercising doesn’t just mean doing sport or going to the gym. Walks in the park, gardening or housework can also keep you active.
3. Diet
- There are strong links between what we eat and how we feel, for example, caffeine and sugar can have an immediate effect.
But food can also have a long-lasting effect on your mental health. Your brain needs a mix of nutrients to stay healthy and function well, just like the other organs in your body.
A healthy balanced diet includes:
lots of different types of fruits and vegetables
wholegrain cereals or bread
nuts and seeds
oily fish
plenty of water.
Foods that can support your mood include fatty fish rich in omega-3s, nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews and peanuts), avocados, beans, leafy greens (spinach, kale and Brussels sprouts), and fresh fruit such as blueberries.
Eat at least three meals each day and drink plenty of water. Try to limit how many high-caffeine or sugary drinks you have, and avoid too much alcohol.
4. S L E E P
- One way to get sleep better is to take a break from the stimulation of screens — TV, phones, tablets or computers — in the two hours before bedtime. I'm sure you heard that 8 hours of sleep a night is key but 6-8 hours is more realistic so that you can have that mental balance. I've been neglecting my sleep and this week I took a nap and it energized me mentally.
5. Find Your Purpose & Meaning
- This is different for everyone. You might try one of the following:
Engage in work that makes you feel useful
Invest in relationships and spend quality time with people who matter to you
Volunteer, which can help enrich your life and make you happier
Care for others, which can be as rewarding and meaningful as it is challenging

Q U O T E S: Have you ever noticed that the more positive you think, the more positive you feel?
2nd: The Harder You Work for Something, The Greater You'll Feel When You Achieve it.
SEGMENT: Different Types of Mental Disorders
What are mental disorders?
Mental disorders are conditions that affect your thinking, feeling, mood, and behavior. They may be occasional or long-lasting (chronic). They can affect your ability to relate to others and function each day.
What causes mental disorders?
There is no single cause for mental illness. A number of factors can contribute to risk for mental illness
and a lot more discussed in this segment
2nd Segment: Anxiety disorders: People with anxiety disorders respond to certain objects or situations with fear and dread, as well as with physical signs of anxiety or panic, such as a rapid heartbeat and sweating. An anxiety disorder is diagnosed if the person's response is not appropriate for the situation, if the person cannot control the response, or if the anxiety interferes with normal functioning. Anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and specific phobias.
Example: Fatigue, Restlessness, Difficulty Sleeping, Excessive Worrying
Mood disorders: These disorders, also called affective disorders, involve persistent feelings of sadness or periods of feeling overly happy, or fluctuations from extreme happiness to extreme sadness. The most common mood disorders are depression, bipolar disorder, and cyclothymic disorder.

Mental Health 103
QUOTES: What May Be Hard Now Will Make You Stronger in the Long Run.
2nd: Just For Today, Focus On Everything You Have To Gain instead of Everything You Have To Give Up. It Can Only Get Better From Here.
Mental health problems can have a wide range of causes. It's likely that for many people there is a complicated combination of factors – although different people may be more deeply affected by certain things than others.
For example, the following factors could potentially result in a period of poor mental health:
- childhood abuse, trauma, or neglect
- social isolation or loneliness
- experiencing discrimination and stigma, including racism
- social disadvantage, poverty or debt
- bereavement (losing someone close to you)
- severe or long-term stress
- having a long-term physical health condition
- unemployment or losing your job
- homelessness or poor housing
- being a long-term carer for someone
- drug and alcohol misuse
- domestic violence, bullying or other abuse as an adult
- significant trauma as an adult, such as military combat, being involved in a serious incident in which you feared for your life, or being the victim of a violent crime
- physical causes – for example, a head injury or a neurological condition such as epilepsy can have an impact on your behavior and mood. (It's important to rule out potential physical causes before seeking further treatment for a mental health problem).

MYTHS & FACTS ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH
MYTHS & FACTS ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH
Quotes: If you're afraid to do something in a social setting, it's because you are more invested in someone else's opinion of you than you are of your own opinion.
2nd: If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan, and guess what they have planned for you? Not Much
SEGMENTS: Myths & Facts About Mental Health
MENTAL H E A L T H AFFECTS EVERYONE
Myth: Mental health problems don't affect me.
Fact: Mental health problems are actually very common. In 2020, about:
One in five American adults experienced a mental health issue
One in 6 young people experienced a major depressive episode
One in 20 Americans lived with a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression
Suicide is a leading cause of death in the United States. In fact, it was the 2nd leading cause of death for people ages 10-24. It accounted for the loss of more than 45,979 American lives in 2020, nearly double the number of lives lost to homicide.
Myth: Children don't experience mental health problems.
Fact: Even very young children may show early warning signs of mental health concerns. These mental health problems are often clinically diagnosable, and can be a product of the interaction of biological, psychological, and social factors.
Half of all mental health disorders show first signs before a person turns 14 years old, and three-quarters of mental health disorders begin before age 24.
Unfortunately, only half of children and adolescents with diagnosable mental health problems receive the treatment they need. Early mental health support can help a child before problems interfere with other developmental needs.
Myth: People with mental health problems are violent and unpredictable.
Fact: The vast majority of people with mental health problems are no more likely to be violent than anyone else. Most people with mental illness are not violent and only 3%–5% of violent acts can be attributed to individuals living with a serious mental illness. In fact, people with severe mental illnesses are over 10 times more likely to be victims of violent crime than the general population. You probably know someone with a mental health problem and don't even realize it, because many people with mental health problems are highly active and productive members of our communities.
Myth: People with mental health needs, even those who are managing their mental illness, cannot tolerate the stress of holding down a job.
Fact: People with mental health problems are just as productive as other employees. Employers who hire people with mental health problems report good attendance and punctuality as well as motivation, good work, and job tenure on par with or greater than other employees.
When employees with mental health problems receive effective treatment, it can result in:
Lower total medical costs
Increased productivity
Lower absenteeism
Decreased disability cost

S A U N A I E Podcast Episode 146 Featuring Philip Tzeng aka LasVegasFill
in this episode XO kicks off the show with some insightful quotes of the day before he interviews the man behind LasVegasFill
here's a bio of who Las Vegas FIll is
As a popular foodie in Sin City, Philip Tzeng aka @LasVegasFill goes out multiple nights a week and covers every cuisine imaginable on various social media platforms. Initially building his following on Yelp with funny, profanity-laced reviews, he transitioned to Instagram in 2017 and hasn’t looked back with over 140K followers and counting.
Originally hailing from Boston, MA, Phil’s love for all things food started early being raised by Taiwanese parents and his mom’s extraordinary cooking. He then spent 10 years in New York City broadening his taste bud horizons with a spectrum of culinary experiences, which he took to another level by moving to Japan and traveling around Asia for two years. It was not until his first job in Vegas, which was a swing shift gig, that he started covering late-night dinner spots and subsequently caught the writing bug.
He currently runs a social media marketing and consulting company aptly named LasVegasFill boasting a roster of well-known eateries in the city, works as a photographer using only his phone, and as a freelance writer.
