Tonight, Jonathan Edwards preached on the characteristics of the Holy Spirit.

The characteristics of the Holy Spirit are:

1. - Like wind

2. - Like fire.

3. - Like water.

He will breath his presence on you, cleanse you in fire, and fill you to overflowing with His Spirit.

Tonight's sermon by Pastor Weymouth is the power of Jesus to change us and put away those things that hinder our walk with God.

Our light shines for God when we are broken. We are not the least, we are the most.

Women influence the entire world. They can influence people for good or bad. They influence men, their husbands, and especially their children. A mother says and does who they are and they teach love and how to be loved. Mary's love for Jesus is special and should be viewed as a special mother's love.

Pastor Weymouth talked about the fact that we can overcome sin. We are not weak, we can overcome temptations. God will give us a way to escape temptation and deliver us, however, we must choose to overcome sin. It is our choice.

Pastor Coon continues his sermon series from Judges 6 and 7. Today was Judges 6:36-40 and Judges 7:1-7. Pastor Coon talked about making sure when we are hearing from God in our life and when God's plan is clear.

Pastor Leroy talked about the love we should have between each other and used 1 and 2 Peter as our scripture reference.

Judges 6:19-31

Pastor Coons talked about removing the alters in our life, those things that distract us or make us turn away from God. This must happen before we can move forward with God and make an alter to God himself.

Tonight's sermon is titled Broken and Blessed. Pastor Leroy talks about how many people in the Bible were broken before they became blessed by God. In our lives, our brokenness sometimes leads to our blessing. Believe that God has it under control.

Matt 26 21-46

The power of speaking in tongues is so that we receive power, which we can use as witnesses for Jesus. Evangelists have a special place in ministries. They are there to give us a spiritual boost so that we can be better witnesses for Jesus.

Just as John the Baptist was a forerunner for Jesus, we are also forerunners for Jesus. It is our responsibility to tell people about Jesus and give them the gospel.

In this sermon, Pastor Weymouth, encourages us to seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues. Covers the events in Acts.

During today's message from Pastor Weymouth, we are reminded of the love Christ has for us.

Zech 6:11-13

Jesus is the branch. He came to Earth to build God's kingdom and do God's will. We are put in the place where we are to do our part for the Kingdom of God, because we are connected to the branch (Jesus).

Pastor Weymouth spoke on the Mountaintop Experience. 

In this message, Pastor Weymouth talked to us about Escaping the Judgment of God. Just as Noah's family was saved and Lot's family was saved, we are saved because of the sacrifice of Jesus to cleanse us of our sins. 

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Tonight's message from Pastor Weymouth is that we can experience the same presence of God that Jesus experienced on the Mountain Top. We must recognize the presence of God. We must experience the presence of God to awaken our faith. 

The start of a new group of sermons about growing in the Lord. In this sermon, Pastor Coons encourages us to keep growing in God. We may have become spiritually lazy, just going along with the flow. Battles in our life can keep us from growing in the Lord. We have the responsibility to keep growing. Christianity might be work, but it does work as we become more like Christ.

Galatians 5:16-25

Pastor Weymouth speaks on God's Glory. The glory of God is God's weightier presence of God. Worship paves the way to the glory of God.  

Pastor Coons talks about a loving marriage and the foundations for marriage. 

Some key words from the sermon are: promise, enjoy, rejoice, contentment, finances, our schedules, love, guard, catch, and communication. 

Leroy Weymouth talked about dealing with disappointment and not meeting expectations, both in others and ourselves. Job lost all but never turned from God. We don't always have to know why things happen, we just have to know God is always with us and God has a purpose for our disappointments. 

Pastor Roland Coons gives a message based on Matt 14:22-33, Matt 8:23-27, and Gal 3:3. Jesus is right there for us when we need Him, all we need to do is reach out. Peter reached out and Jesus saved him. 

Pastor Weymouth encourages us that God is all powerful and our faith in God is powerful enough to move the obstacles in our life. Have faith in God.

Pastor Coons teaches us how to create a rubric and analyze scripture so we get more out of our readings.
