You could follow nutrition strategies that actually align with Nature and you'll feel amazing, or you can follow plenty of strategies that make you feel way worse, especially the ones selling you packaged shit. Your body will heal itself when you realign with Nature. Rewilding my nutrition is what first started me off on my journey 10 years ago. I lost 50 lbs., but more importantly, I woke up, and I see this happen with all of my clients when we change our nutrition. It creates a domino effect in your life to have the energy to create the life you dream of. You can't go where you want to go without the right fuel in the car. You might get somewhere, but you'll be breaking down constantly.

In her book The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying, hospice nurse Bronnie Ware shares that this is the #1 regret of people on their deathbeds. On Friday morning, I woke up to a text with the shocking news that a dear friend of mine had passed away.
You may not be currently grieving a lost loved one, but we are all grieving something. A loss of a relationship, a resource, a part of our identity, a part of our ability or mobility, anything. Chances are, if you’re feeling numb, angry, blaming, or sad, you’re grieving.

151. How to celebrate and sync with the autumn equinox and realign with Nature
Being "out of alignment" is always the root cause of our problem, and the misalignment can be biological, psychological, social, and/or spiritual, and often all of them.
Starting to come back into alignment with Nature, even in the smallest and simplest ways, makes a profound difference in how we feel, and it gives us the energy we need to tackle some of the larger steps of coming back into alignment. Plus, it's honestly fun and enjoyable! It gives us a huge boost in the short-term AND the long-term.

150. Introducing: Wild Wellness with Jess
Hey, I'm Jess, a wild wellness coach and Spirit-led entrepreneur since 2017. This podcast is a place for people who feel stuck, unfulfilled, lonely, ashamed, and exhausted, and I want to celebrate that with you. Why? Because these unpleasant feelings are really good signs that you're hearing the voice of your Intuition.
That holy discontent is not an inner critic voice to be drowned out, but the inner wisdom that needs to be allowed to lead. We're taught that we're the problem, but the reality is the environment is the problem. We live in an environment and cultural context that teaches us to prioritize productivity over pleasure and to push ourselves like limitless machines.
I've done the people pleasing, the approval seeking, the workaholism, the chasing of the next goal, the delaying just a little longer of my own dreams, making others' dreams come true, using all of my gifts, talents, and time to accomplish someone else's mission instead of my own. I know you have too, and I'm on a mission to change that, to walk out of these cages and these prisons together, because all of this unnatural self-sacrifice for the benefit of these systems is robbing us of our health, our vitality, our joy and our pleasure.

133. Releasing the fear of failure
What is failure? Things didn’t go the way you expected when you were putting in an effort to make them go that way. I didn't get what I wanted when I was actually trying to.
If we weren’t trying, we can chalk it up to that's how life goes sometimes. But if we were putting in an effort, it hurts more because we blame ourselves.
There's a part inside ALL of us that is in a relentless loving pursuit of answering the questions: "How much better can I feel? How much more could I like my life?"
But our nervous system would rather keep us in a familiar hell than unfamiliar heaven.
So what do we do?

130. Desire Mapping | SCK Strategies
The first quarter of 2023 is in the books. How's it going?!
Today you'll get 5 questions that will help you create the life you want in 2023, or anytime!
This is one of the first exercises I do with my clients, and I recommend doing it at the start of each new year, or even as often as every quarter, every month, or anytime you feel shitty, stuck, or out of alignment.
These questions help you identify your desired FEELINGS instead of just your desired results, because we don't actually want the result (i.e. the number on the scale) as much as we want how we believe we will FEEL when we have that result.
Then, we often approach the process to getting the result using strategies or mindsets that are the OPPOSITE of how we want to feel. (examples: "I have to feel bad now to feel good later," or "I have to feel stuck now to feel free later.") That's why we self-sabotage.
The great news is we can start feeling our desired feelings BEFORE we get to the desired end result. Listen in to find out how!

127. How to stop improving yourself and get into flow
I used to feel like if something in my life wasn't working, it was because I needed to improve myself. I needed to be more something or less something. More loving, more patient, more disciplined, more grateful, more content... less selfish, less lazy, less overanalytical or less sensitive.
Can you relate?
What I have come to learn is that believing I need to improve myself is internalized shame. Shame is the belief that I am wrong, bad, broken, not enough, or too much. Now, when something isn't working in my life, I don't shame myself. Instead, I realize I am simply arguing with reality and out of flow.

How do you actually love all parts of yourself? No, I'm not talking about body parts. I'm talking about...

Love never fails. How do you make failure impossible? LOVE. In any given moment, your experience is either being colored by Fear or colored by Love, and you can make the switch from Fear to Love. When love is the energizing spirit of why you're losing weight and also the energizing spirit of the strategies that you're following to lose weight, failure is impossible.

116. How to create the life you want in 2023
Today you'll get 5 questions that will help you create the life you want in 2023, or anytime!
This is one of the first exercises I do with my clients, and I recommend doing it at the start of each new year, or even as often as every quarter, every month, or anytime you feel shitty, stuck, or out of alignment.
These questions help you identify your desired FEELINGS instead of just your desired results, because we don't actually want the result (i.e. the number on the scale) as much as we want how we believe we will FEEL when we have that result.
Then, we often approach the process to getting the result using strategies or mindsets that are the OPPOSITE of how we want to feel. (examples: "I have to feel bad now to feel good later," or "I have to feel stuck now to feel free later.") That's why we self-sabotage.
