Christmas Mental Prayer 2020

Christmas Mental Prayer 2020

It's Christmas, don't worry. I'm not neglecting my family or the joy of the season. This is a prerecorded episode. I am happily enjoying Christmas midnight mass and time with family and friends, that is if you're listening to this on Christmas day. If you're in the future, I suppose you can ignore everything I just said, but that's beside the point. This is the Christmas episode and I wanted to do a special mental prayer focusing on a Christmas sermon from Gregory Nazianzen who died in AD 389. I actually have a podcast on Saint Nonna, who was Gregory's mother. He was from modern day Turkey, which was known as Asia Minor. He wrote a wonderful sermon on the celebration of Christmas and we're going to use a short passage from that sermon for today's meditation.modern-day

There's nothing wrong with the term African-American, but it's imprecise language. I am not from Africa, nor do I know of any African descendants in my family. First and foremost, call me by my name. But if all else fails, call me black, because my skin is dark. That's simple enough, right?  Subscribe to my newsletter at https://sdcason.com/subscribe

Timeline of the Catholic Church Ep 001 - Introduction

Timeline of the Catholic Church Ep 001 - Introduction

As traditionally the oldest form of Christianity, along with the ancient or first millennial Eastern Orthodox Church, the non-Chalcedonian or Oriental Churches, and the Church of the East,[1] the history of the Catholic Church is integral to the history of Christianity as a whole. It is also, according to church historian, Mark A. Noll, the "world's oldest continuously functioning international institution."[2] This article covers a period of just under two thousand years Over time, schisms have disrupted the unity of Christianity. The major divisions occurred in c.144 with Marcionism,[3] 318 with Arianism, 451 with the Oriental Orthodox, 1054 to 1449 (see East-West Schism) during which time the Orthodox Churches of the East parted ways with the Western Church over doctrinal issues (see the filioque) and papal primacy, and in 1517 with the Protestant Reformation, of which there were many divisions, resulting in over 200 denominations. This Church has been the driving force behind some of the major events of world history including the Christianization of Western and Central Europe and Latin America, the spreading of literacy and the foundation of the universities, hospitals, the Western tradition of monasticism, the development of art and music, literature, architecture, contributions to the scientific method, just war theory and trial by jury. It has played a powerful role in global affairs, including the Reconquista, the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Investiture Controversy, the establishment of the Holy Roman Empire, and the Fall of Communism in Eastern Europe in the late 20th century. St. Theodosius was one of the founders of Russian monasticism. He reformed monasteries and promoted spiritual life in Kiev. Subscribe to my newsletter at http://subscribe.sdcason.com --- Theodosius was born to a wealthy family, and once he was older he gave up all connection with the comfortable circumstances of his parents and labored in the fields with humble peasants before entering the monastery of the Caves in Kiev around 1032. Eventual Theodosius become abbot of the community, he introduced many reforms to end the extreme asceticism which had been long-standing practice and introduced a more moderate rule for the monks. Aside from promoting the spiritual life in the region around Kiev, he also aided the poor, established hospitals, and involved himself in the politics of Kiev. Through his labors, he made "the Caves" one of the foremost monastic institutions in Russia. Canonized in 1108 by the bishop of Kiev, he is venerated by the Russian Orthodox Church as one of the founders of Russian monasticism.

St Veronica Giuliani - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer July 9

St Veronica Giuliani - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer July 9

In short: St Veronica Giuliani was an abbess who was practical and received the stigmata due to her devotion to the passion of Christ. Veronica was born Orsola Giuliani in Urbino on 27 December 1660. Her parents were Francesco and Benedetta Giuliani. She was the youngest of seven sisters, three of whom embraced the monastic life. It is told that at the age of three years Veronica supposedly began to show great compassion for the poor. She would set apart a portion of her food for them, and even part with her clothes when she met a poor child scantily clad. Veronica’s mother died when she was seven years of age. When Giuliani came of age, her father believed she should marry, and so he desired her to take part in the social activities of the young people. But she pleaded so earnestly with her father that, after much resistance, he finally permitted her to choose her own state in life. Veronica was born Orsola Giuliani in Urbino on 27 December 1660. In Deed and In Truth - Minute Mental Prayer

"My dear children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue, but in deed and in truth." I John 3:18 Please consider subscribing to my newsletter First  of all, let's ask Our Blessed Lord to enlighten us and guide us to  greater truth, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the  Holy Spirit. Amen + Think about these reflections for a few moments while meditating on this quote: "My dear children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue, but in deed and in truth." I John 3:18 How do you love in deed and in truth? What are some loving deeds you can do today? What are some truths you can speak today? How can you use this quote to make the world around you a little more loving? Catherine of Genoa once said "I  do not wish love that can pass through the intellect, memory, or will;  because pure love passes all these things and transcends them." God is love and you should love Him and your neighbors as much as possible.  Also, you should love yourself. Pray to God that you might love more  efficiently and more effortlessly so that you can be more and more like our Heavenly Father. Now, let us ask Our Blessed Lord for strength, perseverance, and love as we confess our sins. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen + Please feel free to leave your thoughts and insights in the voicemail section below! Until next time, stay holy my friend...

He Deemed You Worthy - Minute Mental Prayer

"Bow your knees, pray to the Lord, and glorify His name because He deemed you worthy." Shepherd of Hermas. Book 1. Vision 2. Chapter 1. Please consider subscribing to my newsletter First of all, let's ask Our Blessed Lord to enlighten us and guide us to greater truth, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the  Holy Spirit. Amen + Think about these reflections for a few moments while meditating on this quote. What does it mean to bow your knees? Why does bowing have significance? Do you feel worthy of God's grace? If not, why not? How often do you glorify God? Yes, I know,  there are a lot of questions here. Take some time and mull over them.  The answers to life's toughest questions are all in God. He is the answer. He is the solution. He is the only thing that can make us truly happy. So we should definitely take time to meditate on difficult questions such as these. God has deemed us worthy. That's why you're here, reading this blog post right now. This is why you are praying along with me. Is it Divine Providence or just chance? Your further sanctification is not–cannot–be pure chance. So relish the moment. Enjoy your prayer time. And thank God for all His graces. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen + Please feel free to leave your thoughts and insights in the voicemail section below! Until next time, stay holy my friend...

St Philip Minh - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer July 3

St Philip Minh - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer July 3

The Catholic Church in Vietnam was devastated during the Tây Sơn rebellion in the late 18th century. After the new emperor, Nguyen, was victorious in 1802, he ensured protection to missionary activities. However, only a few years into the new emperor's reign, there was growing antipathy among officials against Catholicism. Tolerance continued until the death of the emperor and the new emperor Minh Mang succeeding to the throne in 1820. Converts began to be harassed without official edicts in the late 1820s, by local governments. In 1831 the emperor passed new laws on regulations for religious groupings in Viet Nam, and Catholicism was then officially prohibited. In 1832, the largely Catholic village near Hue was incarcerated and sent into exile in Cambodia. In January 1833 a new kingdom-wide edict was passed calling on Vietnamese subjects to reject the religion of Jesus and required suspected Catholics to demonstrate their renunciation by walking on a wooden cross. Actual violence against Catholics began after 1833. Officials would torture Catholics by cutting off limbs joint by joint, tearing flesh with red hot tongs, and using drugs to enslave the minds of the victims. Catholics revolted many times and even attempted to overthrow the Vietnamese government, with the help of the French colonists. Philip Minh was born during this turmoil in Vietnam. He joined the Society for Foreign Missions of Paris and was ordained a priest with the purpose of working for the Church in Vietnam. However, he was seized by anti-Catholic forces and beheaded in 1853. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1988. St Junipero Serra - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer July 1

St Junipero Serra - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer July 1

Miguel Jose Serra was born on the island of Majorca on November 24, 1713, and took the name of Junipero when in 1730, he entered the Franciscan Order. Ordained in 1737, he taught philosophy and theology at the University of Padua until 1749. At the age of thirty-seven, he landed in Mexico City on January 1, 1750, and spent the rest of his life working for the conversion of the peoples of the New World. In 1768, Father Serra took over the missions of the Jesuits (who had been wrongly expelled by the government) in the Mexican province of Lower California and Upper California (modern day California). An indefatigable worker, Serra was in large part responsible for the foundation and spread of the Church on the West Coast of the United States when it was still mission territory. He founded twenty-one missions and converted thousands of Indians. The converts were taught sound methods of agriculture, cattle raising, and arts and crafts. Junipero was a dedicated religious and missionary. He was imbued with a penitential spirit and practiced austerity in sleep, eating, and other activities. On August 28, 1784, worn out by his apostolic labors, Father Serra was called to his eternal rest. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on September 25, 1988. St Erentrude - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 30

St Erentrude - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 30

St. Erentrude, at the invitation of the missionary bishop Saint Rupert, left the city of Worms, Germany to begin a convent in the newly founded settlement of Salzburg (now in Austria). The hilltop Benedictine convent that Rupert erected for Erentrude and her companions came to be known as Nonnberg.  As abbess, Erentrude schooled her religious community in holiness by her personal example and instructions. When Rupert was near death, Erentrude begged him to pray that she might die before him, as she was fearful to be without him as her spiritual father on earth. Rupert answered that the time of one's death must be left to the judgment of God.  Nevertheless, at her request, he agreed to pray in the next life for her to follow him soon. They spoke at length of the joys of heaven before tearfully saying farewell to each other. Shortly after Rupert's death, as Erentrude was praying intently for the repose of his soul, he appeared to her in a vision, saying, "Come, dear sister, come to the kingdom you have so long been striving to reach." She died only a few days later. Subscribe to my newsletter at http://subscribe.sdcason.com Support me at http://donate.sdcason.com Check out my products at http://shop.sdcason.com

Sts Peter and Paul - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 29

Sts Peter and Paul - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 29

Peter and Paul are often depicted together in iconography in a circle, embracing one another in a brotherly hug with expressions of affection. In contrast, images of Romulus and Remus, the mythological twins, are usually facing away from each other. According to legend, Romulus and Remus, after whom the city of Rome was named, were abandoned at birth and cast into the Tiber River. When they grew up, the twins embarked on a quest to found their own city. Romulus and Remus disagreed about which hill to build their city on. Eventually, Romulus just started digging a ditch around the Palatine Hill and building a wall. Remus mocked his brother’s work, and in a fit of anger Romulus killed him; Rome and her empire were founded on fratricide. Now contrast this with the re-founding of Rome through the spread of Christianity by Sts. Peter and Paul. If anyone had a cause for strife and division, it was these two. Paul was the chief persecutor of the early Christians led by Peter. These two, at first, had little in common. It took divine action to make these enemies into brothers. Peter and Paul were ultimately bound together in a bond stronger than blood: the love of Christ. Subscribe to Daily Mental Prayer by Email Support and Donate Shop my Catholic Art

God Cares for You - Nighttime Mental Prayer

Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 Reflect on the quote for a while Sit quietly and consider this: What caused your anxiety today that you should have given to God? Remember: Our Blessed Lord wants us to have His peace. His peace surpasses all understanding and should be our goal in life. One of my favorite quotes is from St. Padre Pio. He used to say “pray, hope, and don’t worry” It’s good advice. Subscribe to Daily Mental Prayer by Email Support and Donate Shop my Catholic Art

St Anthelm - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 26

St Anthelm - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 26

Anthelm was born in 1107 in a castle near Chambery, in Savoy, France. He was ordained a priest and visited the Carthusian Charterhouse at Portes, where he entered the Order at the age of thirty. Two years later, in 1139, he was appointed abbot of Le Grande Chartreuse, which had been damaged. Anthelm made the monastery a worthy motherhouse of the Carthusians, constructing a defensive wall and an aqueduct. As minister-general, Anthelm also united the various charterhouses of the Order. Rules were standardized, and women were given the opportunity to enter the Carthusians in their own charterhouses. After a few years as a hermit, starting in 1152, Anthelm returned to Le Grande Chartreuse and defended Pope Alexander III against the antipope Victor IV. In 1163, the pope appointed him as bishop of Belley, France. Anthelm reformed the clergy and regulated affairs, going as far as to excommunicate a local noble, Count Humbert of Maurienne, who had taken one priest captive and murdered another priest trying to free him. When Humbert appealed to Rome and won a reversal, Anthelm left Belley in protest. Pope Alexander then sent Anthelm to England to mediate the dispute between Henry II and St. Thomas Becket. Anthelm was unable to undertake that journey. He returned to Belley to care for the poor and for the local lepers. On his deathbed, Anthelm received a penitent Count Humbert. Anthelm died on June 26, 1178. His feast has been celebrated by the Carthusians since 1607. His relics were enshrined in Belley. In liturgical art, Anthelm is depicted with a lamp lit by a divine hand. Subscribe to Daily Mental Prayer by Email Support and Donate Shop my Catholic Art

William of Vercelli - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 25

William of Vercelli - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 25

He was born in 1085 into a noble family of Vercelli in northwest Italy and brought up by a relation after the death of his parents. He undertook a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. On his pilgrimage to Compostela, William asked a blacksmith to make an iron implement that would encircle his body and increase his suffering, and he wore it throughout the pilgrimage. After he returned to Italy, he intended to go to Jerusalem and for this purpose, he reached South Italy, but he was beaten up and robbed by thieves. William considered this misfortune a sign of God's will to stay in South Italy and spread the message of Christ. Because of this, he decided not to travel to Jerusalem anymore and to settle in South Italy, on the summit of Monte Vergine (then known as Monte Vergiliana) between Nola and Benevento, where he lived as a hermit. Here he attracted a number of followers and founded the Monastery of Montevergine. While at Montevergine, William of Vercelli is stated as having performed miracles. One day a wolf hunted and killed a donkey the saint used for towing and other tasks. The saint then turned to the wolf and ordered the beast to offer himself to do all the donkey's previous tasks. The wild beast reportedly became tame, and the people who met the saint were astonished to see such a docile wolf. Roger II of Sicily served as a patron to William, who founded many monasteries for men and women in Sicily. The inflow of the faithful was for the priests the opportunity to exercise their ministry, and the hermit life that William sought was compromised. Moreover, his confreres did not tolerate that lifestyle too austere and full of privations. Therefore, he left Montevergine in 1128 and settled on the plains in Goleta, in the territory of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi, between Campania and Basilicata, where he began a new monastic experience, a double monastery built mostly by women. He founded several other monasteries of the same rule but mostly remained in Goleta except for some trips to Apulia. Eventually, he died in Goleta on June 25, 1142. St Mother Lupita - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 24

St Mother Lupita - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 24

Maria was born on April 27, 1878 in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. Her father, Fortino, ran a religious goods store situated in front of the Basilica of Our Lady of Zapopan. She had a special devotion to the Lady and she made frequent prayers in the basilica. As a young woman, she made plans to marry, however she ended these plans as she felt called to religious life. She then pursued religious life and co-founded a new congregation on October 13, 1901, known as the Handmaids of St. Margret Mary Alacoque and the Poor. Maria spent most of her time serving as a nurse and as the Mother Superior General of the congregation. The Congregation grew rapidly and served ever more people. However, she was also devoted to poverty, saying that only by being poor can one be with the poor. She sometimes begged for money on the street to help meet the needs of the Congregation and the patients they served., The sisters of the Congregation also served in nearby parishes and teaching catechism. During the Mexican Revolution, a time of great persecution for the Catholic Church which lasted from 1911 to 1936, Mother Maria hid priests and even the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Guadalajara in her hospital, saving them from their enemies. Maria led the Congregation as it grew to 11 foundations in Mexico. Since her death on June 24, 1963, the Congregation has grown to include 22 houses in five different countries, with the most in Mexico. Maria was declared venerable on Pope John Paul II on July 1, 2000, and beautified on April 25, 2004. She will be canonized by Pope Francis on May 12, 2013. Sufficient Grace - Morning Mental Prayer

Sufficient Grace - Morning Mental Prayer

And he has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for thee.” I Corinthians 12:9 Reflect on the quote for a while Sit quietly and consider this: How often do you ask for God’s grace? Remember: It is important that we protect our churches and statues These are not just symbols. They are the visible trappings of our faith. One who attacks churches and crosses is actually directly attacking Faith Next comes laws forbidding the faith. It has happened in the past. Germany, Russia, Mexico, and France and right now China. All these countries started by defacing and closing churches, Then they banned worship altogether. God’s grace is sufficient He has given us the power and grace to protect the Faith Now’s the time to stand up for Christ. Remember the Maccabees.

St Audrey - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 23

St Audrey - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 23

Around 640, there was an English princess named Ethelreda, but she was known as Audrey. She married once, but was widowed after three years, and it was said that the marriage was never consummated. She had taken a perpetual vow of virginity, but married again, this time for reasons of state. Her young husband soon grew tired of living as brother and sister and began to make advances on her. She continually refused. He eventually attempted to bribe the local bishop, Saint Wilfrid of York, to release Audrey from her vows. Saint Wilfrid refused, and helped Audrey escape. She fled south, with her husband following. They reached a promontory known as Colbert's Head, where a heaven-sent seven-day high tide separated the two. Eventually, Audrey's husband left and married someone more willing, while Audrey took the veil, and founded the great abbey of Ely, where she lived an austere life. She eventually died of an enormous and unsightly tumor on her neck, which she gratefully accepted as Divine retribution for all the necklaces she had worn in her early years. Throughout the Middle Ages, a festival, "St. Audrey's Fair", was held at Ely on her feast day. Reflect on this saint’s life for a while Sit quietly and consider this: How can you live holier based on this saint’s life? Remember: We must love God first, and then our neighbor. That includes our spouses and children. Yes, God comes before them. However, God wants us to care for our spouse and children as well. We must balance our spiritual and physical duties until we reach heaven. Subscribe to Daily Mental Prayer by Email Support and Donate Shop my Catholic Art

St Thomas More - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 22

St Thomas More - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer June 22

Thomas More was an English lawyer, social philosopher, author, statesman, and noted Renaissance humanist. He was also a chancellor to Henry VIII, and Lord High Chancellor of England from October 1529 to May 1532. He wrote Utopia, published in 1516, about the political system of an imaginary island state. More opposed the Protestant Reformation. More also opposed Henry VIII's separation from the Catholic Church, refusing to acknowledge Henry as supreme head of the Church of England and the annulment of his marriage to Catherine of Aragon. After refusing to take the Oath of Supremacy, he was convicted of treason and executed. On his execution, he was reported to have said: "I die the King's good servant, and God's first". Pope Pius XI canonized More in 1935 as a martyr. Pope John Paul II in 2000 declared him the patron saint of statesmen and politicians.

Blessed Peter Snow and Ralph Grimston - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer

Blessed Peter Snow and Ralph Grimston - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer

Peter Snow was born in 1567 near Ripon and arrived at the English College, Reims in 1589.  He was ordained priest two years later in Soissons, France, and left for the English mission.  He worked for seven years before being arrested in May 1598, when on his way to York.  His companion on this journey was Ralph Grimston of Nidd, a married layman who had  previously suffered imprisonment for opening his house to Catholic priests.  He was arrested for trying to prevent Peter Snow from being taken. Both were shortly afterward tried.  Peter Snow was convicted of treason as a Catholic priest and was condemned to being hanged,  drawn, and quartered. Ralph Grimston was convicted of a felony, for having aided and assisted  Snow, and was condemned to death by hanging. Both suffered at York. They were beatified in  1987. Their skulls were for many years in the Catholic chapel at Hazlewood Castle and were  placed in the main altar at St Anne’s Cathedral, Leeds on 13 November 2006 when this new altar was consecrated. Blessed Alphonsus Mazurek - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer

Blessed Alphonsus Mazurek - Saint of the Day Mental Prayer

TODAY'S SAINT - June 12th Blessed Alphonsus Mazurek was born in 1891 at Baranowka, near Lubartow,  Poland. He entered the Order of Discalced Carmelites in 1908, taking the  religious name Alphonsus Mary of the Holy Spirit. He was ordained a  priest and appointed as a professor, while dedicating himself to the  education of youth. Afterwards he served in his Order as prior and  bursar. In 1944, after having been arrested by the troops that had  invaded his country, he was shot on 28th August at Nawojowa Gora, near  Krzeszowice. He was beatified by John Paul II on 13th June 1999,  together with many other Polish martyrs. Reflect on this saint’s life for a while Sit quietly and consider this: How can you live holier based on this saint’s life? Based on this reflection, we should resolve to avoid all sin. However, we should especially resolve to avoid one particular deadly sin: (Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Pride, Sloth) Remember, Sloth/Laziness is problematic when serving God. Sometimes serving God is difficult and sometimes it will literally kill you. When you are struggling, remember Blessed Alphonsus’ struggles. Happy Wife, Happy Life - Daily Catholic Meditation

PRAYER BEFORE MEDITATION My God, I firmly believe that Thou art everywhere present and seest all things...cleanse my heart from all vain, wicked, and distracting thoughts. Enlighten my understanding, and inflame my will, that I may pray with reverence, attention, and devotion. QUOTE I should be a happy man if I could but get a wife as handsome and good as she is. The Shepherd of Hermas. REFLECTION Reflect on the quote for a while. Read it over a few times. Sit quietly and consider this: If you are not married, how often do you remember that we, as Christians, should be espoused to Jesus and the Church? If you are married, how could you become a holier and more virtuous spouse? THANKSGIVING PRAYER Almighty and eternal God, I adore Thee, and I thank Thee for all the benefits which Thou, in Thy infinite goodness and mercy, hast conferred upon me. RESOLUTION Based on this reflection, I resolve to avoid: Lust RESOLUTION PRAYER My God, I offer Thee these resolutions; unless Thou deignest to bless them, I can not be faithful to them. REFLECTION Reflect on the quote for a while. Read it over a few times. Sit quietly and consider this: What does it mean to eat and drink prayer? Do you treat prayer as important as food and water? THANKSGIVING PRAYER Almighty and eternal God, I adore Thee, and I thank Thee for all the benefits which Thou, in Thy infinite goodness and mercy, hast conferred upon me. RESOLUTION Based on this reflection, I resolve to avoid: Pride RESOLUTION PRAYER My God, I offer Thee these resolutions; unless Thou deignest to bless them, I can not be faithful to them. Dominus Est by Athanasius Schneider - Book Review and Summary

Dominus Est by Athanasius Schneider - Book Review and Summary

Go to sdcason.com/subscribe to see all my social media channels. Transcript: Today I'm reviewing a book by one of my favorite people and author's. Someone, who I suspect in a hundred years or so, will be declared a saint. I'm talking about none other than Bishop Athanasius Schneider. auxiliary bishop of Astana, Kazakhstan. The book is title Dominus Est It Is the Lord! Reflections of a Bishop of Central Asia on Holy Communion. It was released in 2012, but it is still very relevant today. I absolutely love this book and I recommend it because it tells a story many people don't know. A story about love for Jesus and the Eucharist so strong that people risked and even gave their lives to preserve. A story about communism and how it is not only a bad social and political idea, but how it is murderous and anti-religious. A story that too many of us have forgotten. Who should read this book? Every Catholic should read this book, but especially those young people who are preparing for confirmation. Parents should read this book to their children who are preparing for first communion as well. But this book is especially good for Catholics who have a nonchalant attitude about the Eucharist. A great book, and you should definitely read it if you get a chance. This has been Shalone Cason and don't forget to share this and check out my other social media channels in the description below. God bless, stay holy, and now I will sign off with a quote from the book. God willing, the pastors of the Church will be able to renew the house of God which is the Church, placing the Eucharistic Jesus in the center, giving Him the first place, making it so that He receive gestures of honor and adoration also at the moment of Holy Communion. The Church must be reformed, starting from the Eucharist! Ecclesia ab Eucharistia emendanda est! The Church must be reformed by the Eucharist.
