BeSHE is actively working on solving the problem of domestic violence and its negative impact on humanity. Their vision is to empower the community, build emotional confidence, and gain more resources to help close the gap between those who need the services and those who provide them. Being the first to do anything can be a challenge. Last time we left off I was down about using a gift I don't regularly use, effectively... Well, I'm working on it and wanted to let you all in on a practice. The gift that I'm speaking of is, singing. As a young girl I was complimented often on my voice only to grow, have it change, and no longer have the same effect as it did in my youth, prior to puberty. Many embarrassing public performances led to the want to put it away, completely. But I've decided to keep trying until I get better and I pray this encourages you to keep trying at your "talent" whatever it may be. Nothing beats a failure but a try. In light of the fact that Mother's Day is fastly approaching we want to dedicate our platform to those who may be grieving the loss of a loved one. For many Mother's Day is a joyous occasion while for others it can be hard to deal with. Our guest tonight, Tammy Danford, lost her daughter, my best friend Mariah Jones, in the year of 2017. Though this was extremely traumatic she has never ceased to encourage us, her friends and family, with messages, posts, and genuine love. One of the greatest gifts I ever received from GOD, was an opportunity to just be me. Not perfect, not always getting it right, but striving each and every day to reach the mark. This grace helps me daily to do away with the thoughts in my mind that serve to make me think thoughts of inadequacy.
