The Esther Effect Podcast
By Shirine McRae Freeman
Esther, our sister from the Bible blended her beauty and bravery to save the lives of her people. She used what she had and where she was to produce what she wanted. Started as an orphan, ended as a queen. Sis, are you ready to live for such a time as this?

Sis, Go birth Your Vision
Do you have a dream or a vision but are unaware of how to build on it or just exhausted trying to make it blow up on the big stage? Have you been carrying this great idea alone and are afraid to ask for help? Well, sis this episode is for us. Grab a quiet space and a snack because in this episode we're all reminded that it's ok to ask for help so that we can birth every vision God has given to us. For one it may be building a business for another it may be building a family. In what areas of building or executing your vision do you need help? What's hindering you from asking for help?
You have that vision because God knows you are capable to bring it into this world. Like Esther, it's ok to ask for help because we need each other. Sis, we need each other because purpose is interconnected. Go birth that vision.
What Do You Have An Appetite For?
So, our girl Eve, gave in and ate the fruit. In my opinion she wasn't hungry for no fruit salad. She had other intentions. Jesus, on the other hand was told to turn the stones into bread and he was legit hungry. Just incase you didn't have a religious upbringing, Jesus declined. You and I might have turned the stone into steak but Jesus literally had His, "not today Satan," moment. Now, let me bring it home. How many times have you desired something that was unhealthy for you? Well, I got vulnerable with my fellow Queens and shared some appetite I once had.
In this episode, the aim is to help you take a moment for some introspection. What desires do you have that could end up negatively changing the trajectory of your life? Ok, let's take a listen because sis, things can get ugly in these appetite streets.
Heal Me But Not Like That!
Have you ever wanted something really bad but after finding out what you gotta do to get it, you kinda didn't want it anymore? Well, let's just say the guy I referenced in this month's episode kinda, sorta invented that trend. The brotha had a great job, prestige, respect from the community and connections but was physically sick. When he was introduced to the healing strategy, the guy almost lost it. You want me to do what?! Do you know who I am?!
Sometimes, we might have to be the one to change the trajectory of the future generation but it will cost us our pride, prestige and titles. We have been talking about healing in the last 2 episodes. This month we're pointing you in the direction of your healing. Don't be like Naaman. There is healing in following instructions. If you want to read his story it can be found in second Kings chapter 20.
How Whole Are You?
Listen!!!! There is a whole pandemic happening and it's no bueno. We're over here still trying to put the pieces back together. Is your emotional, spiritual, financial, relational or all the other "als" in your life feeling shattered like a broken glass, or cracked?
Sis, we're over here reaching for WHOLENESS. Sometimes it calls for that extra pressing through the crowd of our frustration or fear. So we have to ask ourselves that very important question but it's gonna cost us our vulnerability and transparency. Sis, how WHOLE are you?
Death, loss, abuse, illness, divorce, frustrated or discouraged? In this episode we're taking some time for soul-care.
Becoming - From Ashes to Wholeness
Heartbreak, divorce, an orphan or just feeling like one? They can all take us on a path where Esther the queen once walked. Ultimately, that path would lead us to becoming free, unbothered and a solution. It's the path of being detoxed from those internal weight holding us back from authenticity and purpose. Esther did not allow her inability to produce in her orphan season stop her from bursting forth as queen in the next. Like Esther, our circumstances don’t have to define how high we rise but rising above the rubbles and walking in wholeness, freedom and security will require us to confront some things.
