It's that time of year again. March Madness is approaching and this is where Angie goes out to play. It's her birthday month so she will let her hair down for 31 days and take a break from podcasting.

Dwana Bailey of the Fight Faith Strength Ovarian Cancer nonprofit called in to give Angie a bit of knowledge on the 5th most common cancer for women. Tune in to hear some information on a cancer that affects women. 

Help yourself to help yourself! Acknowledging that you need help is important. I needed a break after working 70+ hours a week since August 2019. It was necessary and a overall blessing. Get into some self-care for yourself. 

Angie touches on the the art of timing. 

This is considered the first episode of the year so Angie talks about the importance of having a vision for the future. Have a vision for it. Write it down. Fast or meditate on it. Be disciplined. Work towards it and be consistent. "It" being, a thing or the thing that you want/need/desire most.

Yep, you guessed it. I'm venting on this episode about the month of January. I am welcoming February with open arms. I will give January a try next year. Lol! But in all seriousness, there was a blessing after the struggle. The Youtube video mentioned is down below. 

This week, I speak on advice broken down into two areas,  "giving advice" and "receiving advice". Advice coming from friends and foes and how to not take it personal when someone doesn't accept the advice that's been given. 

This story time surrounds what happened to me during my social media fast. I found out information on my dad, whom I hadn't heard from in years. I hope that you enjoy and that it helps someone. 

As we wrap up 2018, here's a recap from my perspective. Happy New Year!

In this episode, as you can tell from the title, cocktails and costumes were involved. I kept the title a secret as usual from the guests but seeing as though drinks were involved, we slipped right into the topic that I had in mind. As with most conversations, you can start at A and swiftly move to Z. Things went far left but everyone made it out unscathed. No one was physically harmed during the taping of this episode. We talked from about 7p until 2:30a. I have almost 2 hours of it recording so stay tuned next week for part 2.

Disclaimer: This episode involved drinks. That was a complete fail. We had a great time in the process though. We had to recover and try it again. So grab your popcorn and grab a drink, because we're talking about love and our outlooks on it. We usually have 2 totally different views on things but we agreed a good bit as it relates to love.
