Episode 235 - For Andy
It's been a hard week for Sound Of Hockey. Our good friend, Andy Eide, one third of the Sound Of Hockey Podcast, passed away Friday after suffering a stroke on March 18. In this episode, Darren and John pay tribute to their friend.
Andy would want the show to go on, and he would want the guys to talk about the Kraken and their upcoming playoff run, so that's what happens next.

Episode 232 - AndyEide.com
This is a bit of a tough episode for John and Darren, who recorded this one without their good friend, Andy Eide, who collapsed at the Kraken game Saturday. As of the posting of this episode, Andy remains in ICU, recovering from a stroke. So, John and Darren give some background on what has been going on on that front, share their favorite memories of their ongoing friendship with Andy, and give thanks for the incredible outpouring of support from the hockey community.
That discussion lasts for about the first 17 minutes of the episode, so if you want to get to the more lighthearted stuff, you can jump ahead to that point in the episode. The guys hope you'll hang around, though, because there's some good, emotional conversation in there.

The Kraken are back in town for the first time in forever, and a lot has happened around the NHL since they were last home. Seattle took its lumps on a five-game road trip through New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Winnipeg, so the Sound Of Hockey breaks down that trip, and Darren shares some of his memories from the road.

In that game, Andre Burakovsky got injured in the first minute and has since been placed on injured reserve.
