An epic feeling fantasy series with bad-ass warrior priestess main characters, a fantastic magic system, mortal gods, and adventure vibes straight from the likes of games like Skyrim. With a norse-inspired feel, it's a modern feeling successor to the wonderful worlds of Shannara from Terry Brooks that will suck you in and have you cheering for Hessa and Thray as they fight for family and their lands against gods and evil hell bent on taking the world for themselves.

A discussion and review Ready Player One - book and movie combo!
BOOK
MOVIE
The year is 2044 and the real world, well, you could say it's fallen apart. Along with most of the rest of the world, teenager Wade (Parzival) Watts spends most of his time in the OASIS - the virtual world that has taken the place of the misery found in the real world as society has collapsed. But when Wade finds the long sought first clue to a hidden game of easter eggs planted in the OASIS by its creator, he's thrust into a dangerous plot with stakes literally holding the real world in the balance. Will this nostalgia fueled dystopian story deliver on the adventure goods or will it fall flat - like the comeback of zubaz?
This episode I'm joined by Storyphoria friends Christy and Matt as we discuss our thoughts on Ready Player One, the book by Ernest Cline and the 2018 film, on this months Seeker Society roundtable!

Ep. 022 - {Book} Horror Stories by James Flynn
Ep. 022 - {Book} Horror Stories by James Flynn
A SPOILER FREE reviewing of "Horror Stories" by James Flynn
Through this collection, including just four short stories, Flynn seeks to deliver a variety of horror scares in a number of different ways. While the collection reads like a quartet of episodes from the Twilight Zone, it promises to “make you sleep with the lights on for the foreseeable future”. The four stories span a variety of themes, from a man experiencing the worst acid trip ever to an author that goes to extremes in order to build a cult following for his new book. But is it scary?
