Luca Bazzuro on tokenomics, DAOs, and more!
Tokenomics refers to the economic and incentive system built into a cryptocurrency or blockchain project. It involves designing the distribution, supply, and usage of tokens in a way that promotes the health and growth of the project. Tokenomics can also include mechanisms for governing the project and for incentivizing stakeholders to participate in its development and use. Overall, the goal of tokenomics is to create a sustainable and valuable ecosystem around a cryptocurrency or blockchain project.
Tokenomics is a crucial aspect of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, as it plays a significant role in determining the success of a project. The design of the token economics should align with the goals and objectives of the project, while also ensuring that the incentives are balanced and fair for all stakeholders.
On this podcast we discuss tokenomics and DAOs with Luca Bazzuro!

Data science and AI in finance
Finance is an industry that has been disrupted by data science and AI. The finance industry is one of the most data-driven industries out there. Traditionally, financial institutions have relied heavily on human experts to make decisions about investments and loans. But now, with the help of data science and AI, the finance industry has been revolutionized.
Data science and AI have helped financial institutions understand their customers better and provide them with financial services that are tailored to their needs. These technologies have also improved risk management in banks by predicting what might happen in the future based on past incidents.

Podcast: VR in data exploration
Virtual reality (VR) is a computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment, such as virtual reality goggles. It is typically interactive, meaning the user can participate in the activity.
Companies are increasingly using VR to explore data. They use this to generate more insightful data visualizations and make it easier for the users to understand and interact with their data.
In this episode we discuss more with Jess and Jim!

Podcast: Tom Burns on neural networks and general AI
Neural networks are the backbone of deep learning, a branch of machine learning. Artificial intelligence (AI) is considered to be a subset of general AI. General artificial intelligence is the ability for a computer program to perform tasks that would otherwise require human intelligence or expertise. Neural networks work by filtering information and attempting to find patterns in that information.
One such neural network is called the Hopfield network; its typical use case includes pattern recognition tasks. It has been around since the 1980s, but some recent discoveries place it under a new light.
On this podcast we discuss about the relationship between the Hopfield network, deep learning and what's next for General AI with Tom Burns, a PhD researchers based in Okinawa, Japan.

Podcast: Kate Dudzik on AI ethics, product-led data science and more!
One thing that has become clear in the last few years is that the soft parts of data science are becoming even more important. What do I mean by soft parts? I am referring to things such as AI ethics, or the interface between product and data science, which has given rise to what we call "product-led data science".
Kate Dudzik has a very interesting background. Pretty much like I did, she started by studying cognitive sciences, before moving on data science. This has given her a unique perspective on various things that more traditionally oriented data scientists might miss.
On this podcast we discuss more about these topics.

How to ensure token appreciation: Reflections on the equation of exchange
Tokenomics is the study of token usage and the effects of a token’s design on its economics. Tokenomics is an important part of many blockchain projects because it ensures that the project has a sustainable business model that will make it profitable in the long-term.
One of the most commonly used tools in this space is the equation of exchange. On this podcast, I share some thoughts about this useful tool, and how it can be used in practice.
