The experience of writing one's memoirs as a survivor of parental abandonment is challenging, however, Nancy Jasin Ensley has done it. She has been writing since she was 8 years old as an escape, and in this 9th book, "The Tire Swing: A Memoir About Survival," Nancy talks about the resulting impact those experiences have had on her life. She feels those who are looking for faith and strength through AA type programs or have lived through physical abuse for ages 10-35 will benefit from this story. Marylin Leinenbach is bringing her book, "Tate and the Super Hear-o Cape" to schools and libraries in her home area. However, she has much bigger dreams. You see, this is a true story of a young boy, Tate, who was struggling with 2 hearing aids and still only able to hear 25% of the sound. His dad, Mark Siebert, also had poor hearing and received one of the early cochlear implants in 2001. When he saw his son struggling, he and his wife determined to get Tate a cochlear implant as well. Just over a year ago, Mark and his aunt Marylin started the book. They made a point to write this book in Tate's voice, true to life. Even the illustrations look just like Tate. After the surgery, it took a few weeks to find that Tate hears well with this new device and he began smiling from ear to ear.

The book was written to explain to Tate's classmates what a cochlear implant is, why it is needed and how challenging it can be to relate to deaf children because people don't realize the isolation that deafness causes or what that strange thing is attached to his head. Now, Tate and Marylin travel around schools and libraries reading the book together to packed auditoriums. The children really get into the story and cheer for Tate.

This book would be of value to schools, libraries, audiology offices, and non-profit organizations providing educational support for people of disabilities. Adding a video version of Tate and Marylin reading the book might make an even bigger contribution than reading the book alone. I'd love to see that happen.

Eve Strongheart shares the underlying traumas that are captured in "The Woman Next Door" and "The Black Sheep: A Survivor's Story of Recovery.  These stories are drawn from her personal experience.  She wrote these books for her own healing when working with first responders she realized that their traumas triggered and exasperated her own memories of life growing up and into her marriage.  Eve holds an MA in Counselling.  She works with First Responders - military, psychiatric nurses, police who suffer from P.T.S.D. or occupational stress disorders.   Eve's strong message:  You can experience traumatic events in your life and find ways to get past them and move on.  Recovery is possible.  She only has one asterisk: Don't try to do it alone.  She found her healing through 12 Step Programs.  

When police officer Gary Benoit went through an officer involved shooting, it was a turning point to his entire life.  He almost lost his wife and family.  Over a little over 4 years, he examined his life, his relationships and what he could do to heal the personal issues he'd been holding in for years.  He had all the issues of PTSD.  With a new mindset, his marriage healed and they began to work together to help other first responders overcome adversity as well as they explored 7 key areas of life, the seven "F"s.  The question - why are you doing so well when others are not - fueled his desire to write his book.  He goes through it all in the book and how his wife and he have grown together over the years.  He now teaches firefighters, police officers, nurses, corrections and others in a Frontline Resiliency program he and his wife offer where they show how to create a touchstone they can go back to daily to serve them during crises, be in gratitude.  They offer live events and conscious connections with others in the community.   Check out "A Call for Service: Overcoming Adversity Through Resilience" on Amazon or jump onto Benoit Wellness Consulting.com to learn all their services.   From his perspective, one message stands out:  Regardless of where you are, it's not who you are.  It's just where you are at in that moment.  The power of making one decision to change the way you're doing things can propel new results for you faster than you might believe."    

What a fun time I had chatting with Jason Thompson.  He's a comedian and philosopher.  Trained in the clergy, he left to explore a broader philosophy and found a home entertaining with his stand up and impersonations.  I was able to catch him in Australia while visiting family there.  However, you can find him performing in California where he makes his home.  

When Jesus taught, he shared stories - what we call parables.  And to this day, one of the most effective ways to teach is to do with a story that is an example of what people do to get through life events.  For Mardria, she looks up for spiritual support and her book "When Sorrow Comes My Way, I Look Up" is a presentation of the stepping stones that enable us to move from our life trials to our goals.  She learned about this through going through loss on several occasions - as an 11 year old, as a young wife and mother.   She shares on these experiences here today. 

Stacey Berger uses her business building background, combined with transformational principles to help individuals prevent burnout by balancing their lives.  If you are burning the candle at both ends and suffering physically as a result, you will want to hear her story.  Also, one of the techniques she finds valuable involves storytelling.  We all have our own stories and there are others that are archetypal.  For instance, animals don't live our lives, but it's in their nature to exemplify lessons we can learn in our own lives.  Can you relate to the patterns of a Canadian goose?  Are you trying to make sense of what is happening in your life as you transition from being a caterpillar to a butterfly?  

When we first met Uma Girish, she had just written her book "Losing Amma, Finding Home: A Memoir About Love, Loss and Life's Detours."  Uma had become  a grief guide when she lost her mother, and hosted a podcast "The Grammar of Grief" for some time.  Then she became aware of Human Design and has gone on to become a Human Design Guide where she helps individuals discover (or remember) who they have come here to be.  The system is a blend of ancient wisdom, astrology, Jewish Kabbala, modern quantum consciousness and genetic coding.   This technique is rapidly growing worldwide.  

Sara Hathaway is the author of the 8 Part "Changing Earth" series.  Nothing dry here.  There is plenty of sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll to catch your interest. She's taken some of her survival stories to create radio dramas or you can catch her podcast "Survival: Fiction and Facts."  She is active in the Prepper Broadcasting Network and, at times, is taking issue with some environmental solutions being touted.  In particular, she sees problems with solar batteries that can only be created by strip mining the Andes Mountains in Latin America and destroying their wilderness.

Author Marilyn Barry triangle meditated with psychosynthesist trainer Vivian King for two years prior to her death and continued for 11 years after.  The other partners in the triangle meditations were able to corroborate their mutual experiences and have documented the experience in the book, "Viva."  The descriptions of life in Heaven, the progressive journey one undertakes, and the guidance shared on how to bring Heaven to Earth now make this a powerful volume.  

Steven Sego discusses writes about only two churches: good and evil.  He answers basic questions such as who is God, when is He coming back?  His views are based on the Book of Mormon.  His purpose is to help people live in ways so that they can keep these two kingdoms separate.  

Duane Haynes fell from a high dive when he was 12 years old.  He went into a coma, went to heaven, and met God.  He was told, "Go back and show them the way home."  And that's exactly what he has done.  His poems are meant to be read aloud.  Even in his interview, he is sharing a message for readers and listeners alike that have changed lives.  Duane shares three of these poems here.  

Elise Cilliers' book "A Passion for Radio" tells the story of how she and her husband built Waterberg Studio 104.9 in Limpopo, South Africa, bringing an entirely new voice to the broadcasting region without any prior experience.  It had been her husband's boyhood dream and took a long time planning.  Finally, in 2009 their plans came to fruition.  "A Passion for Radio" is motivational and spiritual.  

John Quarmby shares the story of a young man he met in Ireland who had suffered abuse for years.  The book came about as therapy for John to discuss the problems he discovered - a ring of sexual abuse that was harming the children of a town.  This book is a painful read and not suitable for survivors of abuse to read as it's too disturbing.  Still, it's an important story to tell.  The children suffered from a range of problems: alcoholism, drugs, bank robberies, prison, prostitution, drunk and disorderly, PTSD.  Yet with care, they were able to move on.  They got married, had children and successful careers.  

Jon Edward Gauthier has worked in the Ronald Reagan White House, with Jack Kemp on Capitol Hill and with Fannie Mae.  Yet his book "Embracing Goodness: How Life Works" has nothing to do with economics.  Rather, it is about life lessons learned when he lost 5 siblings in 4 years due to major traffic accidents.  He sees the book as a first aid kit for emotional wounds.  The book focuses on applications of the principles of St. Therese of Lisieux's book "The Story of a Soul."  She did little things with great love.  

Julie Young has written 44 books to date, all about redemption and the second coming.  She works in the health care industry and is a Reiki Master teacher.  She has experienced the Mother Mary coming through her, Jesus teaching her science and history, showing her what is coming, and both St. Gabriel and St. Michael work with her.  The Catholic Church has all 44 of her books and she has been told that they are waiting to see what happens in this world.   

These 44 titles include: "Miracles Among Chaos," "Into the Fires of Hell," "Evidential Mediumship," "The Tree of Knowledge is Mary's Sweet Vine," and "Book of Dreams." 

Terrence Potter has been a fan of fantasy science fiction since he was a boy.  However, it was hard to find African American heroes.  As he got older, he noticed the lack of diversity in superheroes and began to create the diversity he wasn't seeing.  Underlying message to his readers: Be the change you want to see.  For him, that meant creating heroes that more people can relate to so they can be inspired to make a difference.  

A. W. Cook as written a novel that explores life on the inside of a crime organization after a young couple determine they have to find an exit strategy to get out and live their lives.  Rev. Cook is mindful to avoid offensive language and sexual references in the telling.  Rev. A. Wayne Cook has also written "Live Right to Live Well: The Truth About Prosperous Living."

Observing life as he does, Raymond Brown wants us to notice negative reactions to circumstances and get in the habit of asking ourselves 'what should I have done instead?'  Our interactions reveal signs of problems ahead and the sooner we recognize them, the sooner we can take action to get rid of them.  This is especially true of human relationships.  There are simple 'tells' that we should not ignore.  Raymond is a good speaker, and is brutally honest about things as he sees them.  He would enjoy coming to community events to tell it like it is and hopefully save someone a great deal of heartache and pain in the process.  

Born in the Philippines, Gemma Escolano has lived in Australia with her family for 10 years.  In 2010, a small inner voice urged her to write, however, it was a slow process until her daughter read her writings and encouraged her to write more.  Gemma feels that if her book and touch hearts and cause an awakening, that will be an accomplishment.  Her main message: There is always light at the end of a struggle.  You feel it.  

Marvina Sims has suffered with pain since birth, born with broken bones that the doctor couldn't see.  She was born with brittle bone disease, type 4.   Adding to that pain, she was born in a dysfunctional family and was a victim of abuse until 15 years into her marriage, she realized that she was in an abusive relationship and began the road to healing.  Now she is a domestic abuse advocate and mental illness.  She is a coach, firmly believing that if we're not healed, we will "bleed on" others, a victim of things that "trigger" us.  She is also an author.  Currently, she has written 5 books, "Brittle Never Broken," "All Lives Matter," "Massage Ginny," "Labeling Saga," and her fun book, "Duplex Occurrences."  

Ruth Ann Warren's day job was to come up with marketing promotion ideas for some of the best chocolatiers in the world.  When the pandemic sidelined everyone, Ruth Ann Warren put all that creativity to good use but writing children's books and then designing creative ways to share them.  For her "A Little Chocolate, A Little Dancing, Together They Make Magic," Ruth Ann goes to schools and libraries to read the book and make the story real by eating and dancing with the children.  She has other creative ideas in development including a digital version of her book.  Watch for more from Ruth Ann Warren! 

A personal trainer specializing in serving pregnant women, Dawn Weyand decided to share her expertise with a wider audience through her book "Natal Health: Pregnancy Fitness and Wellness Guide" in 2013.  At that point, life took a turn.  While completing a law degree, Dawn's interest in pregnant women took her to the American prisons where she uncovered some questionable practices.  The result is a documentary "Pregnant Prisoner."  The subject has become her calling and she is actively fundraising to improve women's lives in the prison environment.  For more information, she can be contacted at dawnrachelle77@hotmail.com.  

When Tracy Smith lost her father, she'd been thinking of writing about him and that urge kept growing.  The process itself became a way of overcoming grief.  The title - Li'l Bits of Buford: Overcoming Sadness by Finding "Bits" of Beauty in Everyday Life" -- is a tribute to her dad who was known as "Little Bits" in their community.  The book itself is written as a journal, each month a chapter.  Tracy herself is an artist - a prophetic artist.  Each piece starts with scribbling and then turns into a message that she may not see herself.  The person who views the piece shares its meaning.

Dr. Samuel Adwenti Bentum discusses two books, "Chiefdom: The Women's World" and "The Root You Left Behind."  Sculptor, painter and anthropologist, Dr. Bentum studies how African art forms express social, secular, political, economic and environmental influences.  There are messages in the roots that have been discarded by society.  In "Chiefdom," he explores elevating women to roles as chieftains.  Ghana is not a society that has done this in the past. Bryan Barton first began finding comfort in writing as a child.  Later, he found comfort writing again while in the trenches under mortar attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The comfort comes from the fantasy world of Kannekin where an interspecies has been keeping watch over the people of earth since the time of cave men.  They are watchers who have formed many worlds.  The first book in the series, "Man of War" introduces us to Darkleich.  He's tough, loving and loyal, a soldier with PTSD suffering from flashbacks and anger issues.  So far, there are 5 books in this series.  

William Weatherman was raised in a dysfunctional family.  His dad was a violent drinker who abused his mother and sister, and made William's life a fear filled, angry reality.  Once out of that household, William gravitated to places where Christian leaders gathered and ultimately, he was moved to be baptized.  Today, his life is completely different.  He reconciled with his dad and was able to see him baptized as well.  William's message:  We experience trials in life, however, help is always available.  

This novel is set in the historical west with an eye to discuss the social ills of the time.  Life was changing as we moved from an agricultural to an industrial society.  In the west, there was an often inconvenient confluence of Native Americans, U.S. Army and industrialists.  Surprisingly, the characters are dealing with some of the same issues we do today:  cocaine, morphine, remnants of war conflicts, gunfighters, genocide and  unsavory methods to access valuable mineral rights.   

Shyamali Chaudhuri has written her legacy piece in the book "My Story."  Set in mid-20th century India, it captures the look and feel of a now bygone era.  Shyamali saw the fast changing scenarios in her household as the new century arrived and wanted people to remember the people and situations that had gone before.  The book is available on Flipkart and other online bookstalls with the kindle edition.    

This book is controversial.  It sounds like heresy and blasphemy or an insane belief in something that happened in 1994.  It raises questions about false prophecy.  Yet, Sidney Ye says he is not a false prophet.  He is not even a prophet.  He has written this book to reach you in the hope you can save him from God's vindictive nature.  Otherwise, he will be the only person who goes to Hell.  

Supernatural, psychological, post Civil War, fantasy, horror in cinematic style.  Those are the words that describe "Dead Man Chronicle."  

Malcolm Pullen is actively involved in animal rescue.  One rescue in particular held a great challenge.  He would work with a stray for over 6 months to bring her out of the park and to his home.  It was a magical experience which Malcolm documented daily from those first tentative attempts to connect with her to the day she finally jumped in his car and went home.  If you've ever had a dream or goal that seemed so elusive you had no idea if you would be able to see it happen, this book demonstrates the process of manifesting a dream without ever preaching about it.  

Lorrie Blitch is a woman of accomplishment.  She has been a Naval officer, nurse educator, and owner of Magellan Christian Schools in Phoenix, Arizona and Jacksonville, Florida.   When Lorrie saved a kitten that had been tossed in the trash, she was inspired to write a children's book about her.  Sapphire is blind, yet always getting into adventures.  Lorrie captures them all and has visions of a cartoon series where children can enjoy her capricious nature.  

For Debra Godsee, the fear triggered by abuse triggered schizophrenia.  For 5 years, she was hospitalized every year.  She fought for the right to see her children.  Now, she can tell a tale of hope given by God's presence and promise.  

"Fried Oyster Sandwich" is a work of fiction set in the historical south, based on a question.  What if the Confederacy had won the civil war? The answer:  World War II would never have happened if the Confederacy had won the war.  

Betty Hanks has run an early childcare center for years.  She found that the parents and teachers would benefit from a guide that is quick and easy to use.  The result?  She created two, one for infants and the other for children who are 1-5 years old. 

As written in the foreword, LaVetta Hankins-Price's book "Emotional Dependency" is about layers of emotional baggage that women carry around with them.  Many stay silent, reluctant to expose their hurt and pain associated with mental and verbal abuse.  LaVetta had a similar story until this "tell-all must-read book was written."  She had reached a point in her life when she never went out and felt really bad about herself.  Now, the silence has stopped.  She is available to speak on this topic and can be reached at hankinslavetta@gmail.com.  A second book is scheduled to be published by the end of 2022: "I Wanted the Wedding, But Not the Marriage."  

For thousands of years, man has anticipated the earth ending in chaos, a situation where the entire infrastructure of earthly life is demolished.  However, Beverley Buckley gets glimpses of new processes being put in place.  People are waking up and learning that there is a structure of rules that, if we will learn them, will allow life to be extraordinary.  

Henry Dyson has written several books in which he shares experiences of growing up in South Carolina in the late 1940s and 1950s.  He shares games they played, creative use of materials that were on hand, and historical events that tied to the nation's story of segregation.  

Years after the events of this story, Roxanne Chapman shares the poems written by her deceased husband while he was in prison.  She also shares the story behind the story of abuse, threats and ultimately a suicide.  She was able to find support through these experiences with groups like Circle of Violence and Survivors of Suicide.  Unfortunately, these organizations are no longer active, leaving a void in the support structure for victims like Roxanne  

What is it like to grow up in war torn countries?  What does it do to the psyches of our youngest who have no other options?  What does it to their relationships later in life?  This is Cinnia's Story.  And what emerges?  Love.

If you have ever read the Book of Proverbs, you know that it is filled with wisdom in what seems to be no discernable order.  Mary Turkington spend a few years organizing a concordance for Proverbs.  It was over 500 pages and no one wanted to publish it.  So she condensed the information into topics, cross referencing verses.  The result is a user friendly book, complete with devotionals on topics we all can use.

Don Loftis began preaching when he was 14 years old when he felt called to do so.  In the Pentecostal tradition, it is not the norm, but not unheard of either.  Over the years, Don found that certain aspects of the church were troubling.  There was a stratification that caused competition and subsequent attempts to destroy church leaders with whom leaders disagreed.  Don's book is one voice calling for change based on his understanding of the Bible.

Sandra Swain loves to write children's books as an opportunity for children to learn life lessons.  The lesson she offers in "How Willie the Wombat Won the Race" is that if you believe you can, you can.  She modeled the situation after the story of Roger Bannister's 4 minute mile.  No one believed it could be done until Roger Bannister did it, then one by one others achieved the same mile marker.

Writing and publishing a book is not always easy.  Todd Monger wrote for years as he worked to raise his daughter.  Finally, an inheritance provided the funds to finish the project and a dream became a reality.  Watching Star Wars and Lord of the Rings at night, he would think about what he would do.  Then during the day, going through the routine of his position, he had plenty of time to come up with ideas.  His daughter is one of his biggest supporters.  

What would you do if you learned your child's teacher did drugs?  David Butler was such a teacher.  He got involved with drugs while in college and continued as he started his teaching career.  Twenty years later, his drug use had intensified.  Living on very little sleep, he was probably near death, yet he still able to function in this 8th grade classroom.  Finally, he was arrested, put into rehab and on probation.  That was the beginning of the turning point in his life.  As they say it, "he got religion."  Now he gets the message out any way he can: Drugs are bad.  Hell, no, let's go.  Get away from them as fast as you can.

C. J. Teahan has been her children' best support system after each of them experienced traumatic brain injuries on separate occasions.  Her daughter Caron was in an accident that took one year to learn to talk again.  Returning to school posed a monumental problem, but, with the help of her teachers, Caron surmounted those issues and graduated summa cum laude.   Years later, C. Erika Rhodes tucked years of abuse out of mind, but there was an emotional price to pay.  She never learned to trust anyone, always assuming the worst, and being sarcastic.  But by the grace of God, she became aware and began to grow.  Her book is her journey to freedom.  

David Fredette went through a personal phase change over a one year period.  He expressed this through poetry.  Today, you may find him performing some of these poems at coffee shops, bars, restaurants and other open mic events.  He appears regularly in a variety of locales.

Melinda Summers is an example of someone who was aware of not being comfortable in her body when only 5 years old.  She has been going through the very physical process of gender change in a 10 year program.  The topic is highly controversial, yet she will keep on talking about it until the social stigma ends.  

Known as Salt, Abimbola Essien-Nelson wrote her book "Oluwashola the Story of Us" as a tribute to her younger sister who unfortunately died at 36 under mysterious circumstances.  Also, growing out of her feelings for her sister, Salt founded Sholly's Serenity Place, a ten bed facility for abused women under the auspices of the Shola Adefolalu Gaska Foundation.   The Ladies of Africa named Salt in their 100 Most Inspiring Women 2022 in Nigeria.  The foundation feeds the poor, provides some financial support, and works to prevent sugar diabetes.  Nigeria has no government programs and fewer than 30 shelters in the whole country, so Salt has had to self-fund through grants.  Salt speaks publicly and maintains a strong presence on social media.  

Maria Mansfield suffered for years from depression, anxiety and bipolar II disorder.  Her book "Life is Worth Getting Better" is her inspirational journey to health and well-being.  Now a life coach, Maria talks about the various therapies that helped her medical team wean her off drugs and medications to enjoy a restored life.  She now volunteers at the hospital and is active in NAMI as a recovery coach.  Since her first book, Maria has also written "Honoring Your Recovery" which is a workbook and also available in Spanish.  Her message:  People do get better.  When you find purpose, you get a second chance.  Check out NAMI.org where there are free resources to help you get started on your own journey or help someone else get started on theirs.  

Fern Jackson went through all the stages of grief when she learned her son had a pervasive development disorder that we commonly call autism.  She was in total disbelief, denial, bargaining with God, and all the other negative emotions.  Then one day, she realized that other children have problems.  Why not her son?  And in that moment, she accepted the situation.  It's an awesome and inspirational story. 

Human beings come with a number of irritants that God doesn't like.  God can rub those out while he's rubbing in more joy and peace.  He can do both.  

Abuse is an ongoing problem throughout the world.  Part of the reason it continues in spite of the light we cast upon it is the code of silence that prevents victims from speaking up.  Maxine Rifenburgh was a victim of abuse, however, she was awakened by her angels so that she could learn to heal.  

Peter Hall wrote his comments about his trip to Morocco on the back of a pocket notebook, then compiled his photos and those he researched to create an historical story of Morocco, centered on the places he visited.  The book has been translated into Arabic. 

Percy Brown grew up in some tough neighborhoods.  He also determined he had to be able to defend himself so his mom enrolled him in Tai Kwan Do.  He never stopped training.  Now a 5th degree working on his 6th, Percy teaches martial arts in Alabama.  He shares his thought that he has learned there is value in trying to be a good person.  His Korean grandmaster put it a different way.  Life is more than being a good and better fighter.  It was to be a great man.  Tai Kwan Do has kept him to that path.  

Being a student in Ollie Marshall's class must be fun.  Using phonic play, characters and symbols, she created an ABC character builder.   She has gone on to write other books, most recently "Scatter Changes, Step Ladder Changes."  This book is receiving global attention.  

Timothy Murray has created a new world Thumar where the central characters touch the wrong button in a time machine and find themselves in a time loop.  There are treacherous, simple, interesting curves and turns, including meeting themselves.  There are magical other worldly creatures and adventures, all of which make for a engaging story.  

Joseph Valencia will never forget the summer of 1977 when four separate fire storms swept through California -- Honda Canyon Fire, Sycamore Canyon, Vandenberg and Bakersfield.  He captured the events in his book, "Beyond Tranquillon Ridge." Years later, he and two others brought their memories together to create a documentary The Fire Storm 1977.  The fire department studies these fires in the classroom and at stands in the field and Valencia's book contributes to the safety of the community.  

Vernon Lucas grew up in the music world during the 1970s.  That put him right in the middle of the mix of musicians and drug dealers at that time, made more complicated by a diagnosis of a bipolar disorder.  It took a great deal of work, but he is doing well.  He has a talent acquisition business in New York City and a non-profit to promote mental wellness.  

When Robert Wilson left his hard working lifestyle, he turned to the study of hypnosis.  Now a certified hypnotherapist, Robert uses a variety of literary approaches to draw individuals into internal explorations, opening up to positive changes.  

Tanya Tiedje was inspired to write this book as she was struggling with what she had been traditionally taught.  The church was punishing -- 99% dogma, 1% divine.  Then she found a book about eternal Universal truths that changed her life.  The message is about love.  Once we have that in place, all the rest falls in place.  

"The Last Dance" is a story from the 1960s, although it could happen today just as easily.  A 16 year old girl goes to a dance and overdoses in the parking lot.  The dealer dumps her at the hospital entrance where she dies.  It didn't have to happen.  Julie Richard dug into the story that her grandmother would tell and shares it to warn others.  The area schools made it mandatory reading.  

Diabetes can cause major damage to your body if left untreated.  Alexander Joyeux knows this story all too well.  After being diagnosed, he ignored some symptoms and wound up needing a partial amputation.  What Alexander has to share can help save lives by raising awareness about this disease.  

Entrepreneur Skip Flanagan thinks that America is broken now.  But not in the way you may think.  Even though he was once on probation, he fixed his mistakes in spite of a great many restrictions and limitations on what he could and could not do in his community.  By sharing his experiences, he wants to give you hope to trust in God and believe in the American dream.  You can make your dreams come true and he's an example of it.  

Mary-Virginia PIttman share a few special stories about hero dogs ranging from the bravery of sled dogs during the 1925 diptheria epidemic of 1925, the intelligence and communication skills of these dogs.  Mary-Virginia believes parents should never tell their children that they are too young to pursue their dreams.  There are ways we can support dreams by answering questions, supporting their dreams, talents and capabilities.  

Retired before his time, Reginald Philpott was searching for an idea for what he could do with his life.  An idea flew past him.  You can use a computer.  Write a movie.  But what?  Then a small blurb in the newspaper set off his imagination:  Man goes missing and returns as a woman.  The result is a novel with the feel of a James Bond thriller, although in this case it's a Jane Bond thriller.  

Charley Swords became aware of a solutions management style that could improve the situation of all employees and it ignited the Irish revolutionary in her.  Leaders need to step back and take a look at themselves.  What are their values?  What is their vision?  Once you have that, apply it to the employees too.  Change the corporate culture.  You can do it!

Sister Sandra Makowski was one of the women permitted to study Canon Law under revisions made by Pope John 23rd in the late 1970s.  As she studied, she began to observe what women could and could not do by the Roman Catholic Church as a way to have a perfect society.  It was, in part, a third wave of feminism: first during the Civil War, next around 1917 over the right to vote and yet again in the 1970s for additional women's rights such as the right to own their own property.  Sister Sandra continues to study and work in this area. Chucky Quartarola's wife suffers from Huntington's Disease.   A debilitating disease similar to ALS, there is no cure and few people know much about it.  His hope is that this book will raise awareness and increase donations to the Huntington's Disease Society of America for research.  He is available to speak at organizations and community groups as part of his personal campaign to make a difference.

Dungeons and Dragons fans will understand that it is not permissible to use necromancers as evil.  However, he wanted to explore how necromancers came to be.  The resulting novel, "Nekora" tells that story in a series of novels.  How does one go from being a happy, loving, joyous wood elf to a being of evil?  Jason provides our understanding. 

Janet Morreale began receiving epiphanies from God as a child.  She thought she would be a nun, but that didn't work out.  She would have to search to find her inner understanding of true self - from the world of Catholicism to quantum physics.

Les Shurtiff fell in love with Latin American culture while serving in mission work.  He has turned this passion into a series of novels that touch your heart and share history.

James Koury was well known in his community.  He worked in the local municipal government for 22 years, but then local politics began to deteriorate into the gotcha, cancel culture.  Free thought went out the window.  He left it all behind and began to explore what he wanted to do.  

Fred Nelson loves challenging canoe trips.  In this book, Fred captures the drama of a canoe trip gone wrong when the canoes find the Thlewiaza River is frozen solid.  The original plan was to reach the Arctic Circle, but that was not to be and they must travel over land to the Seal River to come home.  Fred's wife read the log and couldn't put it down.  However, she further commented that if she had known what it would be like, she would never have let him go.  

Silent, strong, but suffering deep within themselves, many children live for years as a result of a much more common problem than we realize.  Carolyn was one of those children.  Therapy, support and good friends helped her get through these feelings, as well as a growing interest in writing.  Writing afforded Carolyn healing and as she has grown, she is taking stands.  She is an advocate for women's rights.  

Prue McDonnell's book "Stargazer" is about fairies. It is a children's picture book.  What's so wonderful is the opportunity to become a child again, to think like one, but with adult values added in.  Stargazer was born in an enchanted garden, fascinated by sparkling flowers.  She feels confined, wants to be something, a reflection of what's in her mind where she is not limited by her environment.  That's her message: Have dreams...and let them manifest. 

Eric Gribble shares his opinions about the role of government in society.  In his opinion, the big problem we are facing is bad ideas.  Notably, the problems he addresses are not limited to Australia.  He hopes the book "Putting Australia on a Fast Elevator to the Future: Reform from the Top Down" will make people think, become more flexible and inspire a grass roots movement to explore solutions.

Everette Howell and Dr. Siegfried E. Howell teamed up to write "From Ordinary People to Great Leaders: An Application of Biblical Models to Contemporary Leadership Issues."  Leadership is front and center in business education demonstrating the movement from simple leaders to servant leaders.  Looking into Biblical writings, they have looked to Jesus as example and teacher on this subject:  Respect the rights of others, train others to build organizations, work in teams of workers and leaders, make the shift from "I am in charge" to work together to accomplish all things.  If you are a parent or a business leader, you can find value in these principles, even if you are off course.  From the Biblical point of view, God teaches us even when we fall.  It is part of leadership training.  The book is available on Amazon.com and at IUniverse.  

Phillip Mark Ames has written "Jesus Christ Revealed: An Understanding of the Apocalypse" to convey the message that has been communicated to him.  Most importantly, God loves us more than we realize.  The prophesies in Revelations can be terrifying, however, if we believe in Jesus and repent of our sins, we have nothing to fear.  

However, in these times, there are multiple voices in our heads.  There are the teachings of the Church; there are other religions; there is the voice of the enemy, the Devil, also speaking.  And it is very difficult to discern the truth if you are not close to the Bible.  

Phillip Mark Ames has been a serious student on this subject.  He asks each of us to believe, repent and recognize the Holy Spirit at work in our lives.  He believes he has the timeline that centers on the return of Christ.  Others say that no one knows the date or time when this event will take place.  Phillip Mark Ames feels we are in the middle of the 7 year Great Tribulation period.  If there was ever a time to consider what he has to say, now would be the time.  

Fernanda Castillo started her novel "One Gray Autumn Afternoon" in Spanish so it is available in both English and Spanish.  She wrote both versions which is her special gift.  Fernanda has been a dubbing translator for the film industry since 1996.  A touch of humor, drama, with erotic and sensual moments, the book is more mature than a Young Adult classification.  

Children don't like to be called "ugly."  Takia Teke's book RU the UGly GIRL/BOY capitalizes on this in raising awareness of how to treat one another.

Richard Welch has written a first person novel about a young man diagnosed as bi-polar with anxiety awakens from a lightning strike hit as a superhero.  He can see energy and manipulate it, but there are repercussions when he uses that ability.  Richard came up with this idea when he realized that DC/Marvel don't have superheroes with mental health issues so he created one.  

Chris Zuschlag made up stories for his children as they went to bed.  He uses a technique working with a few symbols to jumpstart the story ideas.  He wrote down the first story for his daughter which became his book, "The Star Fairy."  Of course, his son wanted a story of his own which became "Smoke the Dragon."  Chris continues to make up stories through the Spellbinder Program in Colorado where he teaches his technique to other children.

Bob Perrill has written a enjoyable fantasy in the spirit of Dungeons and Dragons.  

Jose Baltazar has written a book about life transformation using a coaching model with 7 core components:  Finding Peace within and without.  Self-Care, Self-Belief and Faith, Vision, Awareness, Body, MInd & Spirit, Optimize, Total Responsibility.  It's more than organizational.  It's spiritual while growing in the program.  It draws on a compilation of the thoughts of several experts the work of Dr. George Lausinof in Yugoslavia on Accelerated Learning.  It's an approach that can contribute to helping people heal from the past and then create and live a life they love.
