Neck and shoulder pain is such a prevalent issue, I wanted to share with you some acupressure points for everyday maintenance. You may have noticed the use of acupressure instead of acupuncture. That was intentional. Acupressure is a treatment that uses many of the same points as acupuncture but without the use of needles, and it is something you can do for yourself in times of pain and discomfort.

Stroke Prevention
A stroke happens when blood flow to an area of the brain is cut off. Blood carries oxygen to cells in the body; when those cells aren’t able to reach the brain, brain cells begin to die.
There are four major signs of stroke that you should be able to recognize:
F- Face Drooping: Ask the person to smile, does one side droop?
A - Arm Weakness: Ask the person to raise both arms, does one arm drift downward?
S - Speech Difficulty: Ask the person to repeat a simple sentence - are the words slurred?
T - Time to Call for Help: If a person shows any of these signs, call 911 or your local emergency hotline.

And for today’s topic to better health, we need to look at how sleep impacts our health. Sleep is crucial for maintaining good health, sharp mind, balanced emotional health as you will see as we go through this talk. According to the National Sleep Foundation, nearly half of all Americans report that inadequate sleep interferes with their daily activities at least once a week. As a general rule, if you feel drowsy during the day, even during boring activities, you haven't had enough sleep! This study (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22612017) found lavender oil aromatherapy has so many benefits. The use of bergamot to relieve tension and anxiety has been used in Italian folk medicine. Today I am going to touch on a disease topic that is a very sensitive topic because it about addiction, and in particular alcoholism. But I feel that it is a necessary discussion to have because it is a disease, and it needs to be talked about just like any other disease I have spoken about so far.
I believe For anyone out there listening to this episode, it’s because you need to hear it. I may just have the message that someone on here listening is struggling with.
For you, I hope this adds value and comfort for you to know that you are not alone and there is plenty of help out there available to you. If you are a loved one of an alcoholic who loves this person so much, it is destroying you to watch the self-destruction that is taking place, and you are helpless to do anything about it. You are as powerless over the alcoholic just like the alcoholic is powerless over alcoholic. The only thing you do have power over is reaching out and asking for help.

What is heart disease? According to Medical News Today, “Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the U.S. and also the leading cause of death worldwide… Heart disease is a term used to describe several conditions, many of which are related to plaque buildup in the walls of the arteries. As the plaque builds up, the arteries narrow, this makes it more difficult for blood to flow and creates a risk for heart attack or stroke.”

If you have never tried using a vision board, I'm going to encourage you to do that. It could be anything that you're looking to achieve, and give yourself a date that you will accomplish it. I do a vision board every year since 2013, and I save each one together. I use a poster board and I roll it up and put in the far right corner of my room which is the wealth area of the room according to the bagua map from Feng Shui.
It may take a while. I'm not saying that this is magic. But I believe that when you set the intention and you put it down in ink, And you set a date. You are attracting this energy to you.
You can feel the excitement of what it will be like when you finally achieve what you've written down. And that's what really gets the energy flowing. Like attracts like, and when your thoughts are about a particular thing, your thoughts attracts exactly what it is that you focused on. And that's the reason why, if you focus on negative things, you tend to get more of the same. Instead focus on the positive outcomes for a wonderful life and focus on what you want to achieve in your life, and put it on your vision board. When you write down on your vision board what it is that you want, you are asking the universe to bring it to you. Feel what it's going to feel like when you actually receive it.
