Thinking this way can make you even more anxious
You are totally spot on if you think that this can be really detrimental for anyone suffering from anxiety. It can lead to more anxiety, depression, and actually feeling unable to even give something a try at all. Discounting the positive is a habitual way of disregarding our successes and strengths while focusing instead on what we consider to be our weaknesses and our failures. In our minds, if something isn’t perfect it is, by default, flawed. Since perfection rarely, if ever, exists in our world, pretty much everything is considered a failure or flawed in some way. Let me give you 5 tips that have helped me and also my client Maryanne and her daughter Lauren tremendously. Gwen founded Harris Holiday Cruises to host the special interest cruises for this global sisterhood within her Menopause Support Group. "Forming the group out of my own personal menopause despair in 2013, I never imagined that my influence within this space would span the globe to over 120 countries. Managing the explosive growth of the group has not been easy, but then, nothing in life that has lasting value is easy. I realized that the woes of menopause are a global issue, so my passion became what it is today." Professionally, Gwen is a health and wellness coach and entrepreneur. She practices what she preaches and believes it is possible to age backwards when you are kind to your body. Her personal interests include interior design, aggressive outdoor activities (she loves living in the high desert of Central Oregon where there's year round opportunities to play outdoors), playing classical piano, gourmet cooking, hospitality and entertaining. She's the mother of 3, Gigi to 8 beautiful grandchildren, wife to her loving and supportive husband and a Christ follower. Gwen is a charismatic and determined visionary. With the help of her team, Harris Holiday Cruises will be chartering entire ships with members from her global sisterhood. To have the ability to influence thousands of lives is something Gwen takes very seriously. She believes life is all about the legacy that you leave behind.
