BONUS Episode: Conquering Unconscious Limiting Beliefs: How Limiting Beliefs Shape Your Business Journey
Welcome back to "Starting a Business Simplified" with your host, Suzy Wraines. In this episode, Suzy delves into the topic of limiting beliefs, which frequently hinder new business owners from progressing. She explains that limiting beliefs can affect various aspects of life, relationships, and business without one even realizing it.
Suzy distinguishes between conscious and unconscious beliefs. Conscious beliefs are those we are aware of, constantly thinking about, and understand their significance. On the other hand, unconscious beliefs can be triggered by our nervous system and serve as a protective mechanism. These unconscious limiting beliefs might have originated from past experiences or ongoing stressors that we haven't resolved or let go of.
To illustrate the power of limiting beliefs, Suzy shares a personal example. As a business owner, Suzy recognizes the importance of speaking up to promote her services and connect with potential clients. However, she discovered an unconscious belief that speaking up would lead to rejection or disapproval. Subconsciously, she had developed a self-protective mechanism to avoid situations where her ideas might be rejected or disliked, causing her to hold back and not express herself fully.
While this might seem contradictory since Suzy hosts a podcast where she talks all the time, she explains that she has been working through her limiting beliefs with the help of a coach. Suzy emphasizes the significance of having an external coach or support system to navigate through personal, health, or business-related limiting beliefs. They provide valuable reflections and insights that facilitate growth, healing, and transformation.
As part of her own development and certification program, Suzy now offers others the opportunity to work through their limiting beliefs, particularly regarding their businesses. She highlights a process called transpersonal energy healing, which she has personally experienced. This technique helps individuals tap into the original root cause of their limiting beliefs, whether from a single event or multiple stressors over time.
Suzy's coaching journey allowed her to uncover the childhood circumstances that initially led her to suppress her voice. Throughout her life, subsequent experiences further reinforced this belief. By addressing the root cause and using transpersonal energy healing, Suzy was able to work through her limiting belief and gradually overcome her fear of speaking up.
In future episodes, Suzy promises to share more insights from her personal growth journey and the positive impact that working through limiting beliefs can have on one's business and personal life. She encourages her audience to consider seeking external support in their own journeys and emphasizes the transformative power of letting go of limiting beliefs.

Suzy's Journey Ep. 6: Self-Love, Gratitude, and Inner Wisdom
In this episode of my Starting a Business Simplified podcast, I want to share some personal realizations and insights I've had recently. One of the biggest realizations is the significance of self-love. I've started practicing self-reflection by journaling and setting aside quiet time just for myself.
During these moments, I ask my essential self, "What do you need?" and I listen attentively to the voice within me. It consistently responds with a powerful message: "Love me." I strongly believe that our essential selves are spiritual beings filled with love, and when we truly experience this love, it brings a positive perspective to every aspect of life. By viewing everything through the lens of love, frustrations and annoyances start to fade away, leaving space for excitement and joy in my business and daily experiences.
Another realization that has had a significant impact on me is the practice of gratitude. I express gratitude for even the simplest things, like witnessing a beautiful sunrise, having a comfortable place to sleep, or being able to record episodes for my podcast. Currently, as I look out my window, I am in awe of the beauty of springtime—nature's renewal with green leaves and birds chirping. It has become a daily ritual for me to express gratitude both when I wake up and before I fall asleep. This practice helps me recognize and appreciate all the wonderful aspects of my life.
I also acknowledge that life is a rollercoaster ride with its ups and downs. Experiencing a range of emotions, both positive and negative, is a natural part of growth and self-awareness. During low points, I've developed techniques to regulate my emotions. I delve inward, asking my essential self why I feel bothered or low, and I seek answers from within, listening to my inner wisdom. I want to encourage my listeners to take moments of quiet reflection amidst the busyness of life. We often forget that we possess the answers and guidance we need without always relying on external sources.
Moreover, I discuss the fascinating connection between our body's energy and our emotions. I highlight how excitement and fear produce similar physiological responses, such as a quickened heartbeat and faster breathing. Understanding the ebb and flow of energy within ourselves allows for a deeper awareness of our emotional states. I strongly advise listeners to turn off external distractions and simply sit in silence for a few minutes. This act of reconnecting with our inner selves can be truly transformative.
To sum up, this episode emphasizes the significance of self-love, gratitude, and self-reflection. By embracing love, looking at the world through a loving lens, and expressing gratitude for the blessings in our lives, we can find joy and fulfillment in our businesses and daily experiences. I urge my listeners to find moments of stillness and self-awareness, allowing them to tap into their inner wisdom and effectively regulate their emotions.

Suzy talks about how visualization plays a role in her business planning process and how she has her clients visualize their future businesses. The conversation continues with a discussion around stepping into our elevated self. Suzy shares a personal story of how she moved from her past self into a higher version of herself. Suzy's Journey Ep 4: Bringing My Dreams to Life: A Personal Account of the Power of Imagination and Manifestation
In this podcast episode, I want to share my personal experience with Neville Goddard's teachings on the power of imagination and manifestation. I had always been fascinated by the law of attraction and the ability to manifest my desires, but I struggled to truly understand how it all worked.
After discovering Neville Goddard's teachings, I began to see real changes in my life. I started imagining my desired outcomes in great detail, feeling as though they were already real. I stopped worrying about the physical steps I needed to take to make my desires come true and instead focused solely on the imagined state.
As I continued to focus on my imagination, I noticed a series of events, or what Neville Goddard calls the "bridge of incidents," that led up to the fulfillment of my desired state. One example of this was meeting Kathleen Cameron through my business coach. I had been thinking about expanding my network and connecting with like-minded individuals in my industry, and shortly after, my coach introduced me to Kathleen. It seemed like a chance encounter, but I recognized that it was a direct result of my intense focus on my imagination.
Through this experience, I learned that the key to manifestation is not to focus on the physical steps that need to be taken, but rather to focus on the imagined state and trust that the universe will bring about the necessary events to make it a reality.
Overall, I hope that my experience serves as a reminder of the power of imagination and manifestation, and how we can all use these tools to create the life we desire.

Suzy's Journey Ep. 3: Unlocking Your Intuition: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs
Let's continue our conversation about intuition today. Last time, I mentioned that I was inspired to start a series on my podcast about intuition. So, I want to share with you some details on that, and how I came to this decision.
I spoke with my coach about my social media presence and my podcast episodes. We talked about how most of my content is very business-driven and mechanical, with tips on how to start or improve your own business. I've realized that I tend to think in a more masculine way, focusing more on strategy rather than sharing who I am and what I'm about.
Later that day, I had a conversation with a friend who is also my business partner. She helped me identify some of my limiting beliefs, and how they affect me when I feel anxious or stressed. I tend to have a pattern where my energy leaves my body, which makes it hard for me to feel grounded and connected.
One of my limiting beliefs is that speaking up and being heard is scary, as it makes me vulnerable and may cause others to dislike me. This belief stems from childhood experiences and was reinforced during my time in the army, where speaking up could be dangerous. However, I've realized that it's okay to speak up, and I'm working on overcoming this fear.
So, when I feel anxious or uncomfortable, I tell myself that it is healthy for me to be here, in my body, speaking my truth. I hope that sharing this with you can inspire you to recognize and work on your own limiting beliefs. Thanks for listening, and see you next time!

BONUS Episode Gen X Entrepreneurs and Tech: An Inside Look with Lori McBride on How They're Navigating the Digital Landscape
In this episode, we're joined by Lori McBride, a successful entrepreneur and Gen Xer, who shares her insights on how her generation approaches technology in the context of building and growing a business. As Lori explains, Gen Xers have a unique perspective on technology, having grown up in a time when technology was rapidly evolving.
One of the key differences, she explains, is the amount of information that is readily available to Gen X entrepreneurs. Unlike previous generations, they no longer have to memorize everything or rely solely on personal connections to build their businesses. Instead, they can access a wealth of information at their fingertips, allowing them to make more informed decisions and execute their plans more effectively.
However, this abundance of information can also be overwhelming, and Lori discusses how Gen Xers need to balance the benefits of technology with the potential drawbacks. She shares her insights on how to filter through the noise and focus on the most important information, as well as how to leverage technology to stay ahead of the competition.
Overall, this conversation offers valuable insights into how Gen Xers approach technology as entrepreneurs, and how they're navigating the digital landscape to build successful businesses. Ep. 12 The Branding Breakdown: A Candid Chat with Dawn Foster on Understanding the Distinction between Brand and Marketing
In this episode, we have the pleasure of sitting down with Dawn Foster, an expert in branding and marketing. Throughout our candid chat, we delve into the complex world of branding and marketing, exploring the nuances and differences between the two concepts.
As she explains, a brand is not just a logo or a catchy slogan. It is a reflection of a company's values, personality, and reputation. A brand encompasses everything that a company represents, from its visual identity to its customer experience. In other words, a brand is the perception that customers have of a company.
On the other hand, marketing is the tactical execution of a brand strategy. It involves developing a plan to communicate a company's brand message to its target audience through various channels, such as advertising, social media, and public relations. Marketing tactics are designed to generate interest, build awareness, and ultimately drive sales.
Throughout our conversation, Dawn emphasizes the importance of understanding the difference between brand and marketing in order to develop an effective brand strategy. By building a strong brand foundation, companies can create a lasting connection with their customers and differentiate themselves from their competitors. And by executing a well-planned marketing strategy, they can effectively communicate their brand message and drive business growth.

Suzy's Journey Ep. 2: What was Missing...
In this podcast episode, I wanted to share with you my journey of creating a coaching program and how I realized that something was missing. I started with creating a 12-week program to help people start their business through a workbook, and it did get the job done, but I still felt that something was missing.
January 2023, I decided to hire a coach for myself for the first time, and it was amazing. It helped me do the internal work that I needed to do, and I discovered my purpose of speaking directly to women leaving a medical profession to start a business. I understood that there are thousands of people out there who need help starting a business, but my people are the ones going through what I did.
I'm going through the process of learning about myself, and it helped me to present my true self energetically so that the right people who need my help will find me. I'm reaching out to the medical community, specifically women, because I'm a woman, and I understand their struggles.
I'm sharing my story as I'm still learning about myself, and I'm learning how to look within to know what to present to the world and how to better help my clients and listeners of this podcast. I hired a coach, and it was the best investment I ever made. I recommend investing in a coach if you find the right one for you. If I can't help someone, I refer them to someone who can.
In conclusion, my journey of creating a coaching program and discovering my purpose has helped me to understand that investing in a coach is the best investment you can make when you find the right one. I hope this episode inspires you to look within yourself and invest in a coach to help you reach your full potential.

Suzy's Journey Ep. 1: Trusting My Intuition: How I Got to Today
In this episode I share with you my journey through my personal experience in business. When I started out in my early twenties, I entered the corporate business with just a high school diploma. However, I had a natural gift for problem-solving and creating new systems, and I always felt drawn to looking at a problem and seeing the end result that needed to be accomplished.
With the guidance and encouragement of my supervisors and colleagues, I excelled in corporate positions such as sales, forecasting, and budgeting. I was also very good with spreadsheets, and I could figure out formulas, track progress, and see metrics to paint a picture for the future. I truly believe that we are spiritual beings in a human body, and my spiritual side already knew how to do these things. I didn't need to go to school to learn them.
Despite my success, I felt like I needed a degree to prove my knowledge. So, I joined the army in 2002 as a medic after 9/11, even though my original goal was to do veterinary medicine. I was scared and nervous about the physical and mental challenges of basic training and learning medicine, but I trusted my intuition.
In this episode of my podcast, I want to encourage you to trust your intuition and faith in yourself, just like I did. I believe that we all have a spiritual side that already knows what we're good at, and we just need to listen to it.

BONUS Episode: Top 3 Characteristics of a Successful Entrepreneur
In this episode of the "Starting a Business Simplified" podcast, host Suzy Wraines discusses the top three characteristics of a successful entrepreneur.
First and foremost, Suzy stresses the importance of being true to yourself. As an entrepreneur, it's easy to get caught up in what others are doing and to feel pressure to conform to certain norms. However, Suzy argues that the most successful entrepreneurs are those who stay true to their own unique vision and values. By being authentic and genuine, you'll be better equipped to connect with your customers and build a loyal following.
The second key characteristic of a successful entrepreneur, according to Suzy, is the ability to know your own thoughts. This means being self-aware and able to identify your own strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth. By understanding your own thought patterns and tendencies, you can better navigate the ups and downs of starting a business and make decisions that align with your goals and values.
Finally, Suzy emphasizes the importance of taking action. While it's important to have a solid plan and do your research, nothing beats taking action and putting yourself out there. Whether it's launching a new product, reaching out to potential customers, or networking with other entrepreneurs, taking action is key to building momentum and achieving success.
Throughout the episode, Suzy shares her own experiences as an entrepreneur and offers practical tips and advice for listeners who are just starting out. By focusing on these three key characteristics – being yourself, knowing your thoughts, and taking action – you'll be well on your way to building a successful and fulfilling business.

Ep. 10 How Much Will it Cost to Start a Business?
In this episode, we will discuss an important aspect of starting a business - determining the cost of starting a business. Many entrepreneurs struggle with figuring out how much money they need to start their business, which can lead to financial difficulties down the road. However, by creating a list of expenses and researching the cost of each item, you can get a clear idea of how much it will cost to start your business.
Start by creating a list of all the expenses you will need to start your business, including equipment, supplies, rent, legal fees, marketing expenses, and more.
Research the cost of each item on your list, either by looking online, asking suppliers, or talking to other business owners in your industry. Be realistic with your estimates, and don't forget to include any unexpected expenses that may arise. Once you have a total cost for starting your business, consider how you will finance it. Will you use your savings, take out a loan, or seek investors? Remember that starting a business is not just about upfront costs - you will also need to plan for ongoing expenses, such as rent, utilities, and payroll.By taking the time to determine the cost of starting your business, you can avoid financial surprises and set yourself up for success. Creating a detailed list of expenses and researching the cost of each item is a crucial step in the planning process, and will help you make informed decisions about how to finance your business.

Ep. 7 Creating Your Ultimate Business Vision: Insights with Olivia Clare
In this episode I'm chatting with Olivia Clare founder of The Integrator Agency and host of The Crystal Vision Podcast. We are discussing creating a business vision. She shares her three step process to creating a business vision.
Creating a business vision can be a daunting task for those just starting out. To help make the process easier, here is a three-step approach: Create, Cultivate and Incarnate.
The first step is to create a vision. Think of it as a destination, or a checkpoint. Having a goal to work towards provides motivation and direction.
The second step is to cultivate the vision. This involves breaking down the vision into smaller, achievable steps and establishing the necessary habits, structures and systems to bring the vision to life.
The third and final step is to incarnate the vision. This is where you take action and bring the vision to life. It requires dedication and perseverance, but if you remain focused and consistent, you can achieve your vision.

Ep. 2 Instagram Insights with Britt Pergl: Demystifying the Platform and Empowering You to Create
Welcome to the Instagram Insights with Britt Pergl, where we demystify the platform and empower you to create. In this episode, we're diving into one of the most interesting aspects of Instagram - its algorithm. Our guest, Britt Pergl, is a social media expert and Instagram consultant who will be sharing her insights on how to make the most of the algorithm and use it to your advantage.
One of the things that sets Instagram apart from other social media platforms is its algorithm. It's constantly changing, and it's designed to favor those who try different things. As Britt explains, this means that you can experiment with different types of content and see what works best for your audience. For example, you can try posting a photo one day and a collection of photos the next, and then analyze the analytics to see which one performed better.
Another advantage of the Instagram algorithm is that it allows you to learn from your mistakes. If you post a photo that doesn't get the engagement you were hoping for, you can archive it or delete it, but you can also learn from it. By looking at the analytics, you can see what worked and what didn't, and then adjust your strategy accordingly.
One of the key takeaways from this episode is that Instagram is a platform that encourages experimentation and creativity. As Britt says, "At any point, you can try something different," and that's what makes it so exciting. Whether you're a business, an influencer, or an individual, you have the opportunity to test different types of content and see what resonates with your audience.
In conclusion, this episode of Instagram Insights with Britt Pergl was packed with valuable insights on how to make the most of the Instagram algorithm. In this episode, we explore the topic of discovering your "why" when it comes to starting a business. We discuss the importance of having a clear purpose and understanding the motivations behind why you want to start a business.
One of the first things to consider when starting a business is your reason for doing so. What is it that drives you to want to start a business? Is it the potential for financial gain? The desire to be your own boss? The opportunity to make a positive impact on the world? Whatever it may be, it's important to have a clear understanding of your motivations and to be able to articulate them in a way that is meaningful to you.
Having a clear purpose for starting a business can serve as a powerful motivator, especially during the challenging times that all entrepreneurs will inevitably face. It can also serve as a guiding light, helping to keep you focused on your ultimate goal, even when the road ahead seems uncertain.

Identifying the problem and understanding your target customers can also help you to find your niche and create a unique selling point.

Navigating the Emotional Rollercoaster of Starting a Business: You're Not Alone
Welcome to the Entrepreneurial Rollercoaster, an episode dedicated to the ups and downs of business ownership.
Starting a business can be an emotional journey, and it's important to know that you're not alone in your feelings. When I first began my own business, I experienced a wide range of emotions - fear, overwhelm, excitement, joy, and disappointment, just to name a few. Some days, I was filled with energy and excitement to work on my business, while other days, I wondered why I had even taken on this venture.
But through it all, there were a couple of things that helped me stay the course, no matter how I was feeling.
First, having a plan. This may sound simple, but having a plan in place to guide my business decisions and actions was crucial to my success. And second, leaning into my emotions.
When I felt excited or energized, I would take on tasks that I didn't necessarily enjoy, using that energy to tackle them more easily. And when I was feeling tired or discouraged, I would focus on tasks that I enjoyed, that gave me a sense of "fun" in my business. This kept me moving forward, even on the days when I didn't "feel" like it.
Having a plan allowed me to work through the natural emotions that come with owning a business, instead of becoming stuck or giving up. And by leaning into my emotions, I was able to use them to my advantage, rather than allowing them to hold me back.
Starting a business is a rollercoaster, but by having a plan and leaning into your emotions, you can navigate the ups and downs more easily. So, don't give up, stay the course, and join us on this podcast journey as we talk more about the entrepreneurial rollercoaster.

Taking Messy Action- Start a Business Without Being Perfect! a Conversation with Kelly Harris
In this episode I will be having a conversation with Kelly Harris, an entrepreneur who knows first hand what it's like to jump in and take action even when it isn't perfect.
Starting a business without perfection is an achievable goal for any aspiring entrepreneur. In the age of digital technology, it’s easier than ever to create a platform and get your product or service out into the world. However, many entrepreneurs struggle to take the leap because they want everything to be perfect before they launch their business.
This practice often leads to procrastination, self-doubt and inactivity – this isn’t conducive to success! The best way to move forward is by taking action that isn’t perfect; creating an email list, engaging with customers or even just writing down ideas are all great steps towards progress.
The effects of taking action can be hugely beneficial for entrepreneurs – not only does it help build confidence through experience but it also encourages creativity and movement towards one’s goals.

Building a business is hard!
Welcome to the latest episode of Starting a Business Simplified! Today, we're discussing the importance of taking action, even when things aren't perfect. So often, we wait for the "right time" to start a new project or venture, but the truth is, there's never going to be a perfect moment. If we continue to wait, we'll waste our entire lives and nothing will happen.
As a reminder, when babies first learn to walk, they fall a lot. But they continue to get back up and try again. Where would we be if they just decided, "I failed, I'm done trying"? The same applies to us as adults, we must not give up on our dreams and aspirations just because we face obstacles.
To help you build confidence and take action, Sandy shares some tips.
First, it's okay to be imperfect. We all make mistakes, and that's part of the learning process. Instead of waiting for everything to be perfect, take messy action and learn from your mistakes.
Second, adopt an attitude of gratitude. When we focus on the things we're grateful for, it helps to shift our mindset and put things into perspective. We realize that we have a lot to be thankful for and that we can accomplish more than we think.
Third, halt the comparison. It's easy to get caught up in comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we're not good enough. But the reality is, we all have our own unique journey, and it's important to focus on our own progress, not someone else's.
Fourth, create healthy habits. Whether it's exercising regularly, eating a balanced diet, or setting aside time for yourself, healthy habits can help to build confidence and improve overall well-being.
Finally, celebrate the wins, no matter how small. It's important to acknowledge and celebrate our accomplishments, even if they're small. This helps to build momentum and motivation to keep going.
In conclusion, waiting for the "right time" to take action is a recipe for a wasted life. We should learn from babies when they first learn to walk, they fall a lot but they continue to get back up and try again. Sandy's tips for building confidence are: it's okay to be imperfect, adopt an attitude of gratitude, halt the comparison, create healthy habits, and celebrate the wins no matter how small. Thanks for listening!
Sandy's tips for you to help with confidence:
It's okay to be imperfect! Take messy action. Have an attitude of gratitude. Halt the comparison. Create healthy habits. Celebrate the wins - no matter how small!

Mastering Calendar Management: Tips and Strategies for Business Success in 2023
Welcome to the latest episode of Starting a Business Simplified! Today, we're discussing a topic that is all too familiar for many entrepreneurs: feeling overwhelmed when trying to juggle all the tasks and appointments that come with starting a business.
One way to simplify this process is by setting up your calendar in a way that allows you to focus on the appointments and connections that are most important to your business. In this episode, we'll be sharing tips and strategies for setting up your calendar for the new year, so you can start off on the right foot and stay organized throughout the year.
First and foremost, it's important to identify which appointments and connections are most important to your business. This might include meetings with potential clients, networking events, and other opportunities to connect with other entrepreneurs and industry professionals. Once you've identified these key appointments, you can begin to plan your calendar around them.
One strategy for setting up your calendar is to use a tool like Google Calendar or Outlook, which allows you to create different calendars for different types of appointments. For example, you might have one calendar for client meetings, another for networking events, and another for internal meetings or tasks. This will help you stay organized and focused on the most important appointments.
Another strategy for simplifying your calendar is to use a scheduling tool like Calendly or Acuity, which allows you to easily schedule appointments with clients or other contacts. These tools allow you to set up your availability, so clients can book appointments with you at a time that works for both of you. This can save you a lot of time and hassle when it comes to scheduling appointments.
In addition to these strategies, it's also important to set aside time for self-care and reflection. When you're running a business, it can be easy to get caught up in the day-to-day tasks and forget to take care of yourself. Make sure to schedule time for activities like exercise, meditation, and spending time with loved ones in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
In conclusion, when you're starting a business, it can feel overwhelming to juggle all the tasks and appointments that come with it. However, by setting up your calendar in a way that allows you to focus on the appointments and connections that are most important to your business, you can simplify the process and stay organized throughout the year. Remember to use tools like Google Calendar, Outlook, Calendly, and Acuity, and make sure to set aside time for self-care and reflection. Thanks for listening!

Creating Financial Milestone Goals: 3 Easy Steps
Welcome to the Starting a Business Simplified podcast, where we help you take control of your finances and achieve your business goals. In today's episode, we're talking about how to set up financial milestones for the coming year.
If you're like many people, the word "finance" might make you feel a little uneasy. Working with numbers and evaluating the financial health of your business can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. In this episode, we'll walk you through a simple three-step process for setting up financial milestones that will help you stay on track and achieve your goals.
Step One: Create an annual income goal. The first step in setting up financial milestones is to determine how much money you want to make in the coming year. This will be your annual income goal. It's important to be realistic and set a goal that is achievable, but also challenging enough to push you to work hard and grow your business.
Step Two: Set milestone goals. Once you have your annual income goal in mind, it's time to break it down into smaller, more manageable goals. These will be your milestone goals. By setting milestone goals, you'll be able to track your progress more easily and make adjustments along the way. For example, if your annual income goal is $100,000, you might set a milestone goal of earning $25,000 in the first quarter of the year, $50,000 in the first half of the year, and so on.
Step Three: Create a milestone plan. The final step in setting up financial milestones is to create a plan for achieving them. This might include things like identifying specific income streams or products to focus on, creating a marketing plan, or finding ways to streamline your business operations. By creating a detailed plan, you'll have a roadmap to follow as you work towards your milestone goals.
In summary, setting up financial milestones is a crucial step in achieving your business goals. By following these three simple steps - creating an annual income goal, setting milestone goals, and creating a milestone plan - you'll be well on your way to financial success. Thanks for tuning in to the Starting a Business Simplified podcast. We'll see you in the next episode.

Determining If Starting a Business is Right for You: 3 Key Questions to Consider.
Welcome to the Starting a Business Simplified podcast, where we help you pursue your passions and live a fulfilling life. In today's episode, we're talking about the decision to start a business.
As Jack McDevitt said, "Embrace your life, find what it is that you love, and pursue it with all your soul. For if you do not, when you come to die, you will find that you have not lived." Starting a business can be a great way to pursue your passions and create a life that you love, but it's not for everyone. In this episode, we'll explore three key questions you should ask yourself when considering whether or not to start a business.
The first question to ask yourself is: Do I want to have my own business to gain wealth? Starting a business can be a great way to increase your income and achieve financial success, but it's important to be honest with yourself about your motivations. If your primary goal is to get rich quick, you may want to reconsider starting a business. Building a successful business takes time, effort, and a lot of hard work, and it's not a guarantee that you will become wealthy.
The second question to ask yourself is: Am I passionate about something there is a need for? Starting a business requires a lot of dedication and hard work, and it's much easier to stay motivated when you are passionate about what you're doing. If you have a deep interest in a particular product or service and you think there is a market for it, starting a business could be a great fit for you.
The third question to ask yourself is: Am I working for someone else doing what I could do for myself in my own business? If you feel like you're working for someone else and could be doing the same thing for yourself, starting a business could be a good way to take control of your career and create your own opportunities. It's important to consider, however, that starting a business also requires a lot of responsibility and risk-taking, so it's not for everyone.
In summary, starting a business can be a great way to pursue your passions and create a life that you love, but it's not for everyone. By asking yourself these three key questions - Do I want to have my own business to gain wealth?, Am I passionate about something there is a need for?, and Am I working for someone else doing what I could do for myself in my own business? - you can get a better sense of whether or not starting a business is right for you. Thanks for tuning in to the Starting a Business Simplified podcast. We'll see you in the next episode.
