Welcome back everyone. We have been having a hard time filling a prescription for my (WB) diabetes. It's been back ordered for months in some cases. Which makes life extremely difficult. Because of the difficulty finding it, we looked online to see what's going on. We were shocked at the findings! The FDA approved Trulicity and Ozempic to be used as a "weight management" drug, which puts lives at risk. Not only do we discuss that, but we have finally moved out of NYC. Are you ready...? No doubt we've all that heard that the 49 year ruling of Roe vs Wade has been overturned and returned back to States. Which if you didn't know, was where it all was in the beginning. However if you listen to most people today, you'd think the sky was falling. Abortion has been around for a few centuries in the United States, it had tight restrictions from the start and along the way became the monster it is in modern times. The biggest problem with this outcome, for the uninformed and general public, is what has happened to us. Americans returning and hating each other. **After recording this show, I found a video of Ireland Baldwin, Alex baldwin's daughter, talking about her abortion and how "I chose me and I would choose me again". I was sitting down in pain recovery from a 4 mile hike earlier in the day. Jumped IG for a minute to see Chris Rock getting slap by Will. I immediately searched the internet for more information. Some said it was a hoax... But Rock's reaction proved otherwise. This was in absolute display of insanity on Smith's part. His actions claiming it was for his wife's honor "keep my wife's name out your f**king month" he repeated. A woman we all know hasn't honored their marriage or Smith... Get your tickets and take your seat because the crazy train is leaving the station.

It's Tuesday!!! Hello and welcome back. You will notice we put the "Explicit" label on this episode because our subject today is sex. The label isn't because we're being vulgar in any way it's just for the subject. We were watching an episode of "Switched At Birth" when Toby and Nikki listen to Nikki's mom and had sex before marriage. TK paused the show and asked "What do you do afterwards...?". As awkward as it was we talked about it. Even though that was about a month ago, I thought it was a good subject to let you listen in on maybe even start talking yourself. You ready for this? I tried but I had to. The other day I was on IG and saw Biden was pushing for private companies to mandate (aka force) Vax for their employees. Just before I took my 30 day break from social and all media the royals were getting an award for choosing to help the environment by committing to only having two children. Here's a thought, why aren't we being told to boost our immune system? Oh! you know this episode was unplanned and I was hot by ALL the mistakes I made... All aboard! The rant is on and the crazy train has left the station 

Episode 3 of TWD season 11 started out very dark..... LITERALLY, it starts out with the continuation of the Reaper attack in the woods. Each stand alone episode tells the story, some true some fictional, of Caribbean migrants to England. It doesn't say the years but it goes from late 50's, 60's to 80's. There's this one episode, "Lovers Rock" that took me (Whitebeard) way back to the Jamaican house parties I went to in my teens. Man! I could smell the sweat through the screen. Mmm... and aunt Carmen cooking in the kitchen! Anyway, this isn't just a review but something much more. A larger discussion if you will about the African diaspora. hang with me till the. A typical day in NYC, the Bronx, is filled with noise. Airplanes, helicopters, buses, trucks, cars, gunshots, screaming, fights, extremely loud music in different languages blasting from cars and apartments. And of course who can forget the young boys on dirt bikes, holding up traffic riding on the wrong side of the street. It's Tuesday! So let's talk about the escape to the Outdoors. TK passed her written test for her driver's permit! Just before we started recording today, Woo-hoo!  It's Tuesday! And this week's adventure went a whole different route. We didn't go hiking this weekend because Whitebeard was still recovery from his knee pain. We spent the week doing pain management and making appointments. Saturday came and we (he was going crazy) needed to flee from the city. Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park was our escape. We've been wanting for 3 weeks. You've seen the "Hamilton" play or most likely watched it on Disney plus. But did know about Alexander's industrial visions? How about The Society for Establishing Useful Manufactures, "S.U.M"? Yeah... we didn't either. It's a beautiful thing to learn something new. We'll tell you all about our road trip across the George Washington bridge, to learn about old GW's partner in crime. Happy Dead day! After last week's heartbreaking episode and a first for TWD universe, this week's episode offered a bit of hope. For sure, for those still baffled at John's death. For many fans Grace losing her baby so soon after John and being the first time such a thing was done, on mother's day, it was too much. Fear's season 6 episode 13 "JD" was like an oxygen mask falling in an airplane. We get a John Dorie closure in the form of JD Sr.  June Dorie's find connects her, Dwight and Sherry... and her to John Sr. Are you ready? Let's talk ill of the dead.

Neither is Backpacking but we did it... on today show we discuss our first time backpacking which we did in Great Smoky Mountain National Park(campsite 18), it was part of a week long road trip. One that took us through 5 states for this big event. Stopping at a halfway point, Shenandoah Valley, Va., to camp for the night. This is part one because we're still in Tennessee. Happy Humpday everyone! You know, I love to travel... mostly by car or train, I fly because I have to. I hate flying but you can't drive to England. However, traveling at a certain age is becoming annoying, because now I have to carry extra bags. One would think that by now there would be less bags... but!!! When bringing medication and vitamins things get complicated. While planning for an upcoming 10 day road trip I discovered this painful reminder of aging...

First up Carol and Daryl part ways, we all know it was a long time coming... even with talks of an upcoming spin-off, it doesn't mean they'll be together during that time. just saying. Next up is "Invincible", another comic book turned into a TV show. Warning! This is an adult show, complete with blood, cuss words and a rolling head... oh alright, it just got chopped off. Invincible which is available on Amazon Prime, centers around a teenager hoping to get superpowers and he does, a little late in life but he gets them. He's the son of famed superhero "Omni-man" protector of earth...but there are other heroes too, like "Guardians Of The Globe" who work with the government. Are you ready to talk of the dead...and fight some crime? let's go 

Happy Dead Day! Today we're talking mental health. JUST KIDDING! On this beautiful sunny Tuesday we're talking to you about S10 E20 of TWD! This episode Princess embarks on a personal, morally trying, spiritual journey to find herself through the analysis of her trauma...... or something like that. It all started with just one splinter and went down a tunnel of tremendous twists and turns. If you're ready dear listener, take my hand and travel through our minds to hear our thoughts on the latest episode..... now let's talk ill of the dead.

In today's episode we'll cover the missing Monday Walking Dead Show, in TWD's season 10 episode 19 "One More" we find Father Gabe and Aaron on the hunt for food and supplies, armed with a map from Maggie but it's not long before trouble finds them. It was great to see the boys just hanging out and talking about life and whiskey. Although we can also see Aaron is a bit weary of life as it is at the moment. Also on today's show is this weekend's adventure to Pennsylvania and a review of "Coming 2 America". Yep that's a lot packed into one Tuesday show but then again that's the way we used to do it. It was fun getting back to talking to all of you. lots of giggles this week. Happy Humpday! While some of today's show has elements of Tuesday's podcast, it is all about wisdom. Gaining wisdom along the way is part of getting older. However, some people don't get smarter, they don't learn from mistakes and they don't have knowledge to pass down. That my friends is a shame. Thinking about like this... your in a car driving across the country. You've made the trip numerous times in 40, 50, 60+ years of your life. Have you learned anything? Shortcuts? Better routes? Small towns are awesome? Farmers are intelligent? If not, then it has been a wasted trip and a waste of life... So many crazy things are going in the world and far too many older people are silent. Let's about that for the next few minutes 

It's a beautiful sunny day in NYC... happy Tuesday! Today we dive into a subject that is extremely exhausting to talk about. We skipped the whole "black history month" thing for a reason. So many have done it and most likely received lots of air play for it. But we don't like doing things for the sake of doing it. Happy Thursday! And welcome to another episode of The Book Nook. Today we continue with Voodie Baugham's, "What He Must Be: If He Wants To Marry My Daughter". In Chapters 5 and 6 we see the type of leader/husband our daughters should be searching for in a Christian man. One who doesn't think he is lord of the castle, but one who understands the weight of loving his wife and protecting her heart as well. These two chapters were like eating two 4 course meals. Happy New Year! and Welcome to season two everyone!  It's been a long time and we're ready to talk to you again. Boy oh boy, had to knock the dust off and it was a little weird after being off for so long. But here we are 2021 and ready to go. Are you? Today we get into our most recent adventure, hike 49 of our @52HikeChallenge. But this time we took a 7 year old with us on his first real hike, three generations hiking together in very different stages of life... father 57, daughter 17 and grandson 7. At the end of the hike we interviewed him, so stay tuned for that raw recording in the car (#ThePuddleJumper). Whitebeard has always called him Mr. Catz since he was little... but after today, he's earned the trail name "Energizer Bunny"! We're unsure how he kept going after hiking 2+ steep miles up to the summit in 20 mph winds. Yep, you read that right, it was 1,470+ ft. with an elevation gain of 420ft. We have to say we were impressed, blessed and proud of such an achievement. we're seriously thinking of taking him out with us more in the future. It's Monday and we got all kinds of dead on our brains. This weekend on YouTube TWD asked the question of who would win the fight between Daryl and Morgan. Happy Thursday! The week is almost over and the weekend just around the corner, with a few days for most of us, to have some peace and quiet time. Time to rest from the work week, office politics and chatter. We went on a weekend getaway last weekend as you know. While out, shopping and recording I (T. Anthony) kept seeing YouTube alerts about "World Mental health day". I thought, how fitting, because that's exactly the reason for leaving the city. We needed a place that was quiet, quiet enough to think. With homeschooling, job searching , researching for a new place to live and add to that the upcoming holidays. It's a recipe for mental and physical exhaustion and or depression. I have been there.. I've spent time becoming unglued as I call it. A whole year of my life put on hold, gone, to due severe panic attacks. It was not pretty and these days I work hard not to let that happen again. Today, I get into a bit of that time and some of what I do now to stay healthy. Get comfortable and let's chat a bit. 

This weekend's adventure actually took place during our long awaited vacation. A weekend getaway. Our road trip to and vacation in Tennessee got canceled earlier this year and we were afraid this trip might be as well. Thank God it wasn't. In today's episode we share with you our trip to Shawnee Pennsylvania this pass weekend and our 46th hike of our 52 hike challenge. Plus a honk for Trump, recording episodes on the road and it all ended with  a bottle of 2014 late bottled vintage, Taylor Fladgate. Ready? Jump in the backseat and take a ride with us.

It's been a long time coming! My wife tried to get me into this but sadly I didn't check it out until about a year after her death. What am I talking about? The Walking Dead! Elizabeth and I binged all 8 seasons one summer in preparing for the 9th. Admittedly, the show starts out slow and it is a drama, not to be confused with Z Nation which is not. So, after a long wait for season's 10 finale "A Certain Doom"... we were ecstatic to see what would happen to Beta, and to see World Beyond. In this episode we talk all things dead... and launch a dedicated show on The Walking Dead" universe. Every Monday! Are ready for some dead stuff

In this episode we are reviewing "Enola Holmes" and "Vampires vs The Bronx".
