This Episode is sponsored by: My amazing cleaning lady, Amanda Souza, APS Housekeeping. One of the best decisions I made for my mental health - as an entrepreneur and as a mom, was to hire house cleaner. Parenting itself, let alone running a business forces you to value your time above all else. That’s where Amanda comes in. Amanda Souza and her team come and work their magic in my home every few weeks and I can’t even imagine going back to not having her. Not only do they professionally clean my family’s lived in home (I have a toddler and 2 pups in this house!), but they leave the space feeling bright and refreshed. Knowing Amanda is a part of my support team allows me to relax and focus on the things that I truly want to prioritize, like my family & my businesses.
If managing work, parenting and life feels overwhelming to you, hiring support is a step in the right direction and I can personally recommend Amanda’s services as excellent and rates as very reasonable. She offers deep house cleaning with rates that vary depending on size of home and number of kids and pets. So if you are in the South Jersey area, contact Amanda at: 609-998-1471 or https://www.instagram.com/apscleaning/ and I promise you it’s a call your future self will thank you for!

Often, people-pleasing and perfectionism go hand in hand. The need to be perfect stems from a fear of not being good enough or disapproval from others. While nothing is inherently wrong with wanting to do our best, when we become wrapped up in trying to please others or achieve perfection, we can lose sight of what is truly important to us.
There are many things in this world that you can't control, but your response to it is one thing you always have a choice in. This episode is for you if the need to please and be perfect is becoming debilitating.
In this episode, I chat with Montoya McGowan, a therapist and the owner of Stopping the Chase Counseling and Consulting, about how the “rescuers” become the problem solvers and do it to the point where they are no longer putting themselves on this list. Stop being a Jesus Jr., and listen in!
Top reasons to listen to the entire episode:
