Omar is one of the UAE'S Nationals who comes from a family of innovators, builders of their amazing city Dubai and one of the pioneers in business in the UAE. This is only half of the story because he found his voice in the creative, business, and art world.

His photography is soo personal to him that it shows when he decides to share them with the world a certain sensibility and beauty rarely found in photography.

He recently launched his ALL MADE IN UAE fine furniture line. An entrepreneurial concept is called ModuMethod.

His attitude towards his artistry, life, and business is very mature. You can listen to him for hours without missing a laugh, knowledge, and elegance.\

This is my first double trouble, and what a wonderful trouble it was:)

The first time I host two guests at the same time!!
Two strong women, two very talented and refined women, two best friends with so much beauty inside out, and most importantly two new friends of mine.

When Raisa asked if she can also invite her best friend Jasmine to the show, I was thrilled. Because I knew that she felt comfortable enough and because I was sure that I will meet a fantastic artist.

We spoke about Raisa been born and raised in the UAE, an architect, and artist, We spoke with Jasmine about her fate to become an artist and how they became best friends, and hush hush..you will heart it first..these two brilliant ladies are also going to work together for a project to be launched soon.

Very few artists can articulate and speak about their art as romantically as well like Soraya.

When I have first met her, I knew little about her art to be honest but the little I knew! was special and intriguing enough for me to know more.

It was easy to know more, Soraya is one of the coolest and nicest of artists. She is proud but not arrogant, she is fun but not silly and she beautifullll really beautiful.

I always wondered about her striking nuances of landscapes and trees,. You will know how rational yet romantic they are.

Note:

The first time I have met Kapil was at the opening of an exhibition at Foundry Creative Social space where he took part in the exhibition back in February. 

I approached him and right away I felt that aside from my admiration for the work he did AT THE ROOM WITH A VIEW for the gallery! he had zen energy, a kind ora and the only thing I wanted at this point is to know more about him.

Little I knew that he was one of the most admired advertising creative directors in Dubai but also globally as he has a couple of awards under his arms locally and internationally like the Lions in Cannes (which is like the Golden Globes of Advertising!!! If you know what I mean).

He is a promising businessman, an artist, and a creative director that I proudly call a friend.

I am sure you are going to enjoy this episode as much as I have enjoyed recording it a week after I had the honour of moderating an Art Talk with him and two other incredible artists.

Dina, an award-winning, Dubai-based Egyptian artist. One of the leading artists who master experimental art, using Resin and Fluid mixes.

She lived half of her life in the South African capital Cape-Town. Immersed and inspired by nature around her, and her grandfather a sculptor and artist himself.

What I loved about Dina is her humble attitude and confidence. Her determination to build a grand artistic legacy but most importantly to succeed as a mother, an artist, a businesswoman, and an innovator is soo inspiring and encouraging to anyone who knows her, who will meet her, and who will listen to our podcast.

I wouldn't has asked for more blessing than meeting her and having her as my first guest during the holy month of Ramadan.

Huma graduated from the prestigious and important National College Of Art in Lahore where she learned and got inspired every day from master students and professors who have presented Pakistan in Asia and beyond.

But Huma's journey began at a very young age! 

She is in continuous search of mediums and ways to express her artistry. It is thanks to her zen energy that she projects which have helped her realize an astonishing collection at the moment in an exhibit at one of the important galleries in Dubai called Silent Confabulations.

Although she takes Dubai as a home, her talent can speak many languages and travel beyond her own borders.

I have a fascination for the color BLUE KLEIN..my love story with Soufiya's art began simply like that!

A little digging and I found myself in love with literally everything she paints.

A little chat after I have met her, I fell under the charm of a very humble, sweet, funny, smart, and super talented woman.

I have learned that she is a successful career woman, a supportive super mother, and a happy wife to a very special man.

She paints for self-confidence, self-accomplishment, and for herself. What a great formula to bring the best of yourself. She taught herself how to paint this good! I even promised her that I would do a challenge to ask everyone to just draw and let the creative madness begin:)

I always feel extremely happy when I meet a happy, talented, strong, and supported women.

Not sure if it is because I've grown up with remarkable women like my four sisters or my late mother who was for me the greatest human being ever lived!

Rubab reminded me of those women. Her kindness, openness, talent, the pride of her self-taught Islamic Calligraphy and Artistry, her wonderful family, and her appreciation for her husband, whom I haven't had the chance to meet but I would be honored to do so one day knowing how much he supports Rubab through her journey and choices.

You know the type of men that when you talk about them you feel instantly good and happy!
well, 
Kirill is definitely one of them. 

He is soo mature, polite and smart! and yet a fireball of talent, coolness, and open-mindedness.

We have talked about growing up in the UAE, his attachment to Russia and the UAE, the special bonding with his family and sharing his room with his lovely grandmother.

His ability to charm anyone around him, living in such a cosmopolitan city like Dubai had led him to study International Relations at a reputable university.

I have discovered his love and devotion for electronic music, his underground parties that everyone in town is talking about, and his art collective formed with his best friends to have fun, create, bring people together and bring the underground culture to the surface. All while staying cool, humble, and reachable.

I can not wait for the time when all goes back to the new normal where I will dance at one of his parties! laughing, hugging, enjoying a life we all thought was ours for good.

For the time being, Kirill is here to remind us that we will be back crazier and happier.

Shoug is an Emirati young woman and artist!
I said woman Emirati woman before artist because I am soo honored and happy to have met such an inspiring star to be and pride of her nation.

When I was younger it was not this easy for many reasons to meet incredibly remarkable women in my home region the GCC. Nowadays and in such a short time (the past 20 decades) it is the norm to meet mostly talented and very special women from any field not only the artistic one.
Shoug comes from a nation of change, of continuous achievements, high importance to preserve traditions but a visionary eye toward the future while setting the highest standard in the region and globally, her home the United Arab Emirates.

We discussed her struggles, fears, being a woman in the art scene in the UAE, her supportive family and her artistic world.

Shoug is about to finish her college years and while she is still trying to find and refine her artistic identity! she definitely has a unique rare voice through her lenses.

Saeed comes from a new generation of young Emiratis who do everything in their power and talent to raise awareness of the beauty, pride, and incredible history, present, and future of their land and nation: The United Arab Emirates.

Her weaving pieces as she beautifully put it in a word (meditative) which require a lot of patience and imagination. Her paintings on the other hand are romantically aggressive. 

We spoke about her background and her life in Lebanon and how being Lebanese have nourished her talent and creativity.

She has been around the world but she felt finally home in Dubai.
