Music, Mixers, and Mother Nature: Behind 'Before We Go' & More!

Hey there, Tebo family! 🎶 This week, my talented violinist, Ram, sent over some rhythmic ideas for my 2am track, 'Before We Go', and I can't wait for you all to hear the magic we're creating (00:15). I also received some amazing samples of t-shirt merch for the 1am original, 'Pretty Shannon' - pretty stoked about that! (01:15). Tech troubles hit home when I faced challenges unlocking my old iPad Mini, which I wanted to use with the fantastic Allen & Heath Qu-SB digital mixer I got (01:49). Spoiler: persistence (or maybe luck?) won the day!
Speaking of the Allen & Heath QU-SB, some of the bandmates came over, and we dove deep into its mesmerizing personalized monitoring capabilities (02:39). Every week I discover something new about this mixer; it's a gem! On the introspection side, I've been delving into the pages of 'Think & Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill (04:39), and as nature would have it, another hurricane warning to keep us on our toes (04:57).
But amidst all these happenings, the music must go on! Join me in my project studio as I lay down the lead vocals for 'Before We Go' (05:05). And as always, I cap off the week with my iconic open mic jam night at the local pub. I'm always astounded by the talent and originality of our community jammers (08:18).

A Song's Transformation: The Journey of 'Before We Go'
In this week's episode of Tebovision, we're talking about persistence, discipline, and the magic of revisiting old projects with new perspectives.
We kick things off by diving into a topic that's dear to my heart: the importance of never giving up (00:15). I firmly believe that success often hides just around the corner, waiting for us to take that one more step. It's all about discipline, rather than motivation (02:31). Through it, we can weather the good days and bad, staying focused on our goals.
In line with this spirit of determination, I'm excited to announce the next song from my 24-song originals project. It's a track I released back in 2020, called 'Before We Go' (04:47). This time around, I'm giving it a makeover, aiming for a more relaxed vibe and incorporating Ram Ko on violin.
Join me as I lay down new drum tracks (08:34) and bass and acoustic guitars for 'Before We Go' (12:30 and 15:52). I'll also be integrating the original lead guitar track, masterfully recorded by my good friend Enzo Lucia back in 2020 (15:25).
To wrap it all up, I head over to Cunninghams Pub to host my weekly songwriter open mic jam night (17:02).

Creating 'Pretty Shannon': A Musical Journey from Concept to Final Mix
In this week's episode of Tebovision, we're diving deep into the recording process of my newest original song, 'Pretty Shannon.' Join me as I take you behind the scenes of the long but rewarding journey that is music production.
