After thirty-plus years in Supply Chain & Logistics at Eastman Kodak, Paul achieved a dream held by many homebrewers like himself and decided to go "pro" in 2012. Hear Your Song, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers children and teens with serious illnesses and complex health needs to make their voices heard through collaborative songwriting. Kids living with significant health challenges need the chance to show the world — and sometimes to hear for themselves, too — that they are more than their diagnoses.

In live, collaborative songwriting sessions, Hear Your Song volunteers work with children and teens to guide them through the process of writing their own song lyrics. Using the kid songwriter’s ideas for musical style, melody, instrumentation, and tempo, volunteer composers and musicians then set those words to music and record the song to be heard, celebrated, and shared.

Hear Your Song partners with pediatric hospitals, camps, schools, and other nonprofit programs that serve kids experiencing serious illnesses and complex health needs. Hear Your Song’s volunteers collaborate with kids through campus-based chapters and at the organization’s national level. Justin Pelletier is the Director of the Cyber Range and Training Center in RIT's Global Cybersecurity Institute. As a component of this work, he trains and leads student teams to perform security assessments for partner organizations. He also oversees cybersecurity competitions that bring together top cyber talent from across the globe. As a Professor of Practice in the Department of Computing Security, Dr. Pelletier teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels and helped to bring the Hacking for Defense initiative to RIT. More About Jeremy Cranmer

Cranmer was born and raised in Elmira, NY on the south-side of town, graduated from Southside High School, and went on to attend Davis College in Binghamton, NY. There, Cranmer met his wife, Tricia. They have two kids, a son age 14, and a daughter, age 11. Together they foster a 2 and a half-year-old daughter in their home.

Cranmer spent 12 years in the Department of Social services working with Teens in the foster care system. In 2017, he began work as the director of the Neighborhood Transformation Center and started a small church in the center as well.
