Mamma Mia!

Nudist Colony of the Dead
Good morning Stonerino Campers!!! This week, we're continuing on our summer musical extravaganza and this time Counselor Dan is at the wheel! In this episode we pitch our restaurant musicals in homage to Jimmy Buffett's classic show "Escape to Margaritiaville", we discuss the one and only legend himself Mark J. Pirro, and we try to keep things generally as unhinged as possible so we can mentally prepare ourselves for NCOTD!

Little Shop Of Horrors
Hey there Stonerinos! You ready for Camp Counsler John to take over? Well gather round the fire and get ready to head down to Skid Row (ba dum) because this week we watched Little Shop of Horrors! Coming in hot off HSM, Snort and Dan yet again bump heads about musical taste but both somehow agree about the deep seated BDSM themes within LSH.

High School Musical
Get your gear (all in this)together Stonerinos, because the bus is loading up and we're on the way to Theatre Camp! In this weeks episode Snort simulated the long and seemingly never ending bus ride to camp by having us watch High School Musical! As payback for the Team America episode Snort decided to send Dan into medical distress for an hour and forty minutes. All aboard!

Barbie
Get your best pink cowboy outfits ready stonerinos, it's Barbie time! In this week's episode, Snort guides us along on the journey to see the one and only Barbie on the big screen. We talk about the history of the Barbie doll, both personally and from a worldwide marketing standpoint, discuss the Allan in the room, and occasionally break into a rendition of Push by Matchbox 20. As always, spoilers after the break.

Goosebumps!
We're going to need a vacation from this vacation! This week on our Summer Daze programing block, Snort, Dan, and Silent John get deeper into what spawned their childhood fears by exploring the world of R.L. Stine in Goosebumps! We touch a bit on the storied history of Mr. Jack Black and possibly trace his lineage to that of a famous North American Cryptid and Dan voices his hate for tiny Pete Davidson, this is one you won't want to miss!

Small Soldiers
Man, summer just seems to fly by, we just started this series and we're already at the halfway mark. In this week's supersized episode, the crew is joined by our special guest. We talk about the history of toy engineering and a brief introduction into toy law, pitch a few spin off movies and sequels, and do a play by play on the war crimes of one Major Chip Hazard. This is one you don't want to miss!

Team America World Police
Happy Fourth of July Stonerinos! Sorry about the cancellation last week, technical difficulties led us to scrap our Child's Play episode but we did do a little recap of it this week. We also pulled the rug on Snort and made her watch Team America World Police to keep the toy train rollin, her live reaction is reason enough to give it a listen!

Super Mario Bros (1993)
And we're back! Our little post SUPERSLAMSUMMER break really had us feeling that Summer Vacation vibe so just like that crystal clear pool on a hot June afternoon we're diving back into a new Summer series. Our Summer Daze is just about trying to capture that feeling again and nothing says summer break like video games and nothing says video game movie that should be reviewed on a comedy podcast like 1993's Super Mario Bros. This is a first watch for both Snort and Silent John, how are they going to handle watching a movie with Johhny Legz and Bobby Hosks squander it's full potential? DENNIS HOPPER'S KID NEEDS SHOES!!

Ready to Rumble SUPER SLAM SUMMER!!!
To the dozens in attendance, and the millions of stonerinos around the world, LET'S GET READY TO not get sued and still somehow refer to this movie's title. This week we've reached our Main Event of SUPER SLAM SUMMER!!! and we've got a special guest referee helping to drive the discussion. This being both Silent John and Snort's first time seeing the best wrestling movie the second best wrestling promotion of the year of our dark lord 2000 had to offer, how's this cage match going to go? Will Snort and Silent John be on the same page, or is a heel turn in someone's plans? Only one way to find out, DING DING DING, RING THE BELL!!!

THE Suicide Squad SUPER SLAM SUMMER!!!
Well Stonerinos, the time is now, because we've got scheduled appointment with the Doctor of Thuganomics. In our penultimate episode of SUPERSLAMSUMMER!!! we've diving headlong into James Gunn's THE SUICIDE SQUAD to pay a visit to the Peacemaker. We also discuss our Cenhistory, how Silent John and Snort are putting themselves through cinematic torture, and at some point get disturbed by a bird that may or may not have been Hoogan. Baw Gawd, this is one you won't want to miss!

The Princess Bride SUPER SLAM SUMMER!!!
We've reached our midcard and we're still pulling out all the stops, the cliffs of insanity, ROUS, and Peter Falk inappropriately doing color commentary over the most romantic moment of the film. This week, to pay honor to the 8th wonder of the world[sic?] Andre the Giant, we're watching The Princess Bride. We talk a bit about the man himself before opening the book on the main event. This one is a first watch for both Snort and Silent John so make sure to tune in after the break to hear their first impressions first hand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 SUPER SLAM SUMMER!!!
WHAT'S THIS?!?! WHO'S MUSIC IS THAT!?!? OHMYGOD IT'S BAUTISTA!!! Coming in as the number 2 entrant in our SUPERSLAMSUMMER!!! is none other than Drax the Destroyer himself, Dave Bautista. In this week's episode the THCrew head over to the cinema to celebrate one of our favorite humans, Dave Bautista, in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3! as a footnote it's also Dan's birthday. We get into the whole Bautista Backstory, walk headlong into the unavoidable Rock comparisons, and then head to the theater to piledrive the hell out of the case of marvel fatigue we've been battling. As always, spoiler free before and spoilers after the intermission.

The Rundown (2003) SUPER SLAM SUMMER!!!
DING DING DING! And in this corner, weighing in at a combined 7.5 grams of some indica, a vape pen, and some leftover edibles, THE THCINMEA PODCAST CREW. Their opponent, hailing from the year of our Dark Lord 2003, THE RUNDOWN!!! This week we're kicking off "SUPERSLAMSUMMER: Don't get sued", where we are jumping from the top rope directly into the careers of some of the most electrifying superstars to ever transition from the squared circle to the big screen. In this week's episode, for our millions (and millions) of fans out there, we've got some great insights into the great one himself, so if you're smelling something it isn't that danky skanky, it's gotta be what The Rock...is...cooking...eyebrow. Don't be a jabroni, this one you won't want to miss.

420 Special 2023 - The Big Lebowski

Renfield
Welcome! Creatures of the Vapor! On this day, we celebrate two things, the haziest of holy months 4/20, and the annual birthday of our beloved Silent John. Sadly, Silent John's birthday wish was for a Nic Cage Vampire movie that didn't suck and, somehow, this movie both didn't suck and did, figuratively and literally. We, however, still got really really high and also saw Nic Cage up to an 11 as the prince of darkness, Dracula. Hoogan may have made an appearance, we didn't stay for the credits.

Shrek
Some.......BODY once told me it's the month of Four Twenty and we just like to smoke lots of weeeeddddd. In this week's episode, Snort, Dan, and Silent John are celebrating something green that is love and is life, well, two things that are green and are love and life because for Snort's pick of the 420 month we're making waffles and watching Shrek!! Take a hazy nostalgia trip with us to the faraway land of Duloc (there's a song about it) and hear us talk about the ramifications of ethnic cleansing of fairy tale folk, the great debate over native land rights, and a soft pitch for a dark unlicensed Shrek sequel "The SHRekoning" All that glitters is green! Johnny Gorgonzola gets the cheeEeeesseeeee.....

Idle Hands
Happy 4/20 month Stonerinos!! It's the most stonable time of the year, we've got lots of great movies and snacks that are groovy so give that huge bong rip a clearrrrr!!! This week we're moving from the SCU (Scream Cinematic Universe) and what better way to ease into the stoney season but with a scary stoney movie. This week it's Dan pick and he picked Idle Hands!! This movie has demonically possessed hands, zombuddies, the inhalation of nutmeg and oregano and the side effects of nutmeg and oregano, and The Offspring? Ok. Roll up a fat one for this super sized episode!

Scream 6
Hello Stonerinos, what's your favorite Scary Movie franchise? If you know anything about this trio of Scream Queens you know ours is SCREAM!! STABSTABSTAB!! Come along with us as we venture deep into the heart of Neeewww Yorrkkkk Citttttaaaayyyyy to chase down the Ghostface is his latest outing Scream6, and in 3-D no less! We've got all the looms fit to Loomis and the Stu is set to boil, so don't miss out on this one!

Oscars 2023 - LIVE Green Carpet Special
Roll up a joint and roll out the beige carpet because it's Oscars95(2023)!!! Will the victory of the Fraser taste so sweet after all the flavors? Will Everything Everywhere win Everyaward Everywhere All at Once? It aired yesterday so you probably know the answers to those and other questions we pose in this episode but you'll still get to be a fly on the wall as we live commentate over the green carpet and then hear every gasp and cheer live from our Oscar couch as the awards air.

The Whale/School Ties
BREN-DAN FRAY-ZUR. In this week's episode, Snort, Dan, and Silent John are concluding our Flavors of Fraser series with a look into Brendan's dramatic side, a mini review of The Whale and a full review of School Ties, Brendan's first big dramatic role. This movie has Brendan going toe to toe with some of Hollywood's biggest dramatic actors in their early days, you've got Brendan v. Damon, Brendan v. Affleck, and Brendan v (checks notes) Christopher O'Donnell? While the subject matter of the film was difficult to stomach, the performance from a young George of the Jungle was chef's kiss emoji, you won't want to miss our last stop on the Fraser hype train, toot toot.

COCAINE BEAR!!!
This week we're taking a little break from our Flavors of Fraser to take a trip to the cinema and today we're all Snort because we watched COCAINE BEAR! In this special episode Dan, Snort, and Silent John are joined by friend of the show Chaz who worked on Cocaine Bear and he fills the episode with that sweet sweet behind the scenes booger sugar. If you love insider information this is one you won't want to miss!

The Mummy (1999)

Blast from the Past

Airheads
What's Silent Johnny doing out on a Tuesday night? Odds are it involves the THCinema Podcast and Cheese. This week Silent John, Dan, and Snort begin to taste the Flavors of Fraser TM. In this special series we're honoring Oscar Nominated actor Brendan Fraser with a retrospective of his uncanny acting talents as we traverse through the Genre-verse TM that he's been traveling for the last 30 some odd years. We're also trademarking things now, which is kinda fun but probably not official so feel free to use Genre-verse or Flavors of Fraser. This week's flavor was comedy, with one of the Fraser's early works, Airheads. This movie has everything, Sandler, Farley, Buscemi, two Ghostbusters, Lemmy, Rodney King chants, EVERYTHING!! WARP SPEED MR. SULU!!!!!!!!

50 First Dates
Hope you've got your basketball shorts ready because this week we wrap our Hall of Honors with a stroll down Sandler lane. We do a bit of a deep dive into the filmography of the Sandman, find out how Silent John really feels, and entice Snort into the mix with a bit of Barrymore before we come to terms with our own short term memory issues and watch 50 First Dates.

Multiplicity
This week Snort, Dan, and Silent John continue down the Hall of Honors with our newest nominee(s?), Michael Keaton, Michael Keaton, Michael Keaton, and Michael Keaton shine in 1995s Multiplicity, which is less of a movie and more of a highlight reel for Michael Keaton (did we mention he's in this movie?). We also kick off what will undoubtedly be a future episode of Snort Court, Bob Ross v. Mr. Rogers, Dan does a few terrible impressions, and Silent John drops the best one liners of the episode (as is tradition).

Bling Ring
2023 is here and so is our first episode of season 3. This week, we kick off our Hall of Honors miniseries, where we pay tribute to actors who are great at what they do on the screen and great at being humans off the screen. In our first HoH episode, we go back to the year 2013 to watch a movie based on a 2010 article about a series of crimes from 2008-2009 where some exceedingly wealthy people got a little less wealthy due to some terrible terrible teenagers, but one of them is played extremely well by HoH Honoree, Emma Watson. We also discuss Limp Bizket, because of Florida.

Bits and Chips 2022
Happy New Year Stonerinos! And what a great year it's been! We've seen some good movies, some bad movies, some worse movies, and somehow some worse than that movies. We've thrived through the heat of the Summer of Smith and walked the Path to Pattinson, celebrated Spooky Season and all the Holidaze, and had Friendsgiving with our favorite fan Chaz. Thanks to everyone for a great year and here, presented with some context, is our year end wrap show, Bits and Chips.

Trailer 2022
Oh look! Another comedy movie review podcast! But this one's got weed. Snort, Dan, and Silent Jon breakdown a movie weekly, everything is fair game, new releases and classics alike, we discuss our expectations for the upcoming viewing and then pickup thereafter and breakdown what we watched. Spoilers after the midbreak. Come over and say High!

Gremlins 2 - The New Batch
It's over, it's done, put away your Nakatomi Plaza Advent Calendars and lock up Mariah Carey for another year. In an excuse to tie the two together, we watched Gremlins 2 The New Batch, in celebration of last year's Christmas Gremlins viewing, Dan also manages to loosely make this a New Year's Eve movie. This movie literally has everything that a coked up Stephen King could hope for and a twist at the end that can only be described as "why".

The Mean One
"The Mean One" was the film, a holiday tale
But alas, it turned out to be quite a fail.
The acting was wooden, the plot was quite thin
And the special effects were downright dim.
But still, we sat through it, munching on our treats
Hoping for a twist, a surprise, a great feat.
But no such luck, the movie was a snooze
Leaving us yearning for holiday booze.
So if you're thinking of seeing "The Mean One" this holiday season,
We'd recommend giving it a pass, for all this episode's reasons.

Pottersville
Ho Ho Ho Stonerinos! Our Christmas sleigh ride continues this week as the potheads take a trip to Pottersville! This movie has Michael Shannon, Ian McShane, Tom Lennon, Furries, Bigfoots, infidelity, and the true meaning of Christmas. We knew nothing walking into this one and somehow knew less walking out, lets go to Pottersville!

Violent Night
Happy Holidays Stonerinos! This week we went to the cinema because Snort chose Violent Night as her gift to the podcast. Silent John and Dan went in as blind as a sleigh ride in a blizzard without Rudolph but came out the other side smiling like kids on Christmas morning. This is one present you are going to want to open! Spoilers after the mid-break.

Son In Law - Fansgiving
Gobble Gobble Stonerinos! It's time to eat oh so much food and be grateful for what you appreciate most in life and what we appreciate most is our fans. In this special episode we're joined by #1 fan Chaz to talk about our Thanksgiving menus, hold our annual gobble off, and watch Chaz's choice for Thankgiving, Son In Law. A manchild dancing around in his PJs, topical Red v Blue conversation, awkward teenage years, IT'S JUST LIKE THANKSGIVING BACK HOME. Gobble Gobble y'all, I don't know how to end this, Happy Thanksgiving.

SPECIAL - Summer of Smith Road Trip
It's getting cold out but the Summer of Smith, somehow, continues. In this episode, live from the road, Dan, Snort, and Silent John make their way to see Kevin Smith live for a screening of Clerks3 and Q&A. On the way, we take questions from our Instagram followers, discuss our merch table hopes and dreams, and wrap it all up with an aftershow still basking in the glow and secondhand smoke of the one true Smith.

Halloween Ends
Happy Halloween THCini-minions! This week, Snort, Dan, and Silent John watched Halloween Ends so you don't have to! In this episode we have our hopes shattered, discuss the repercussions of over taxation in preparation for Myers incidences, and see cameos from Michael Myers himself in the Michael Myers movie. Halloween ends with Halloween Ends, this is one you won't want to miss.

Maximum Overdrive

Thir13en Ghosts
Spooky Season and our Halloween High continues on this week as we discuss our own personal paranormal experiences, ghostly apparitions and aspirations, the potential hazard of going toe to toe with Zak Bagans and then we watch the ludicrously named HotTopic Horror movie, 1THIRTEEN3 GHOSTZ. This movie has Blood Trucks, Matthew Lillard just spitting everywhere, great production design, terrible terrible terrible CGI, and so many comparisons to previous episode House on Haunted Hill. You don't want to miss this one....it could be your laaaassstttttttt!!!

Hocus Pocus 2
It's me, it's me, it's sea-son-three. Happy Spooky Season everyone! We're kicking off our third season with a blast of nostalgia being capitalized on! This week we watch the Disney+ release, Hocus Pocus 2. Join us as we get into the Halloween Spirit talking Spirit Halloween, Generic Costumes, Candied Apples, and fucking Mike!

Red State
It's that special time of year, Summer of Smith is waning but Spooky Season is close at hand. What better way to transition the seasons, figuratively and literally, by watching Kevin Smith's horror(ish) movie, Red State. There's a lot going on in this movie and Snort and Silent John are David Pumpkins on Kevin Smith right now, so sound the trumpets and don't miss this one!

Clerks 3 - Summer of Smith, Kevin
I assure you, we're crying. In this weeks episode, Snort, Silent John, and Dan have reached the endgame and what an emotional road it's been. We've seen renegade angels & donkey shows, we've journeyed from New Jersey to Hollywood and back to New Jersey, we've made friends and we've lost friends, but nothing we've seen had prepared us for this one two Kevin Smith KO. Not even Yoga Hosers. Join us as we wrap our Summer of Smith, Kevin with what is his finest work, Clerks 3.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot - Summer of Smith, Kevin
We've reached our penultimate episode in our Summer of Smith journey, and this week Snort, Silent John, and Dan watch Kevin Smith's reunion movie, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, in final preparation for the release of Clerks III this week. This movie has so much, great cameos, lots of meta, tons of heart, and.... [double checks copy] Chris Jericho as a Klan leader? Little on the nose but you do you Kev.

Clerks 2 - Summer of Smith, Kevin
I assure you, we're open! In our Labor Day special we decided to actually appreciate the labor of which it gets it's namesake and who better than our boys Dante and Randall to make us appreciate it. Dan has considered this Kevin's best film, has his Summer of Smith Stockholm Syndrome plan worked? Are Snort and Jon members of the Cult of Chuthulaskew? Only one way to find out.

Dogma/Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back - Summer of Smith, Kevin
This week, we continue our tour through the Smith-stonian in our Summer of Smith series with two of Kevin's best works, Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back in a wake and bake double feature. In a single day we saw Ben Affleck, Jason Lee, Matt Damon, Jason Lee, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Ben Affleck and Jason Lee in a movie! Be sure to stay til the end for a special message from across the Askewniverse.

Mean Girls
Happy Birthday to you! May all of your dreams come true! This week in a very special episode, Dan and Silent John celebrate Snort's birthday and even though she made us watch multiple Twilights this year, she still gets to pick a movie, and boy does she pick it. This episode is mostly on the rails before we watch Mean Girls but the second half is absent of rails. Join us in wishing our favorite host and social media manager a happy birthday today!

Chasing Amy/Mallrats - Summer of Smith, Kevin
In this weeks episode we continue our Summer of Smith, Kevin series, we talk all things Affleck, the redemption of Jason Lee, and come up with a foolproof plan to revitalize the mall industry. Clerks - Summer of Smith, Kevin
I assure you, we're open!! In this week's episode, Dan takes Snort and Silent John on a journey deep into the Askewniverse. In preparation for Clerks III this fall, there's a lot of ACU to cover and only one way to start it, with Kevin Smith's first outing Clerks. We discuss the foundation Kevin Smith laid for modern filmmaking as well as the foundation he laid for one particular modern film comedy review podcast host. Not every podcast brings you lasagna at work, most of em just cheat on you shrug emoji.

THCCon ComicCon Coverage (THCCCCC)
In this week's episode, Dan, Snort & Silent John discuss all things comic con. From the swords and sandals to the spandex no stone is left uncommented upon. Thor Love & Thunder
Happy Thorsday everyone! In this weeks delayed episode, Dan, Snort, and Silent John are on their way to the cinema to watch Thor4LaT. Before that we talk Gentleminions, the great one himself Kevin Smith, and ragretful tattoos. As always, spoilers after the break.
