Mr. Lucas, Jr. was a member of the early staff of the HBC, Bethune-Cookman College. He was hired directly by Mr. Bethune in the early 1900s. So many stories! Together, Mr. Lucas and D'Lorah have started the Harold V. Lucas, Jr Foundation and will be having their first Gala on October 7th, recognizing three Community Icons. This episode is full of history and will make you want to go out and volunteer in your community!
