Baja California's wine country, Valle de Guadalupe is urgently trying to put a hault to the big business machine that very well could destroy the up and coming wine region.
The last five years of international attention has piqued the interested of deep pocket developers. Local wineries, residents, farmers and restaurants are in a race against time to put a stop gap in place that will allow the incoming district administration to review and enact regulations to protect the limited resources being depleted in the area of San Antonio de las Minas, Valle de Guadalupe, El Porvenir and Francisco Zarco.
