Hi there, Connie here!
Have you ever wondered what you would do if the unthinkable happened, and you suddenly found yourself homeless with no one to call for the help you would need?
That's the scenario I faced many years ago, and I have been working diligently to reclaim my life ever since...
My recovery journey began 28 years and 9 days ago, so you can imagine how happy I am to be sharing the recovery side of my story with you today!!
The Kataluma Adventure Tour is my story yes... but it's not just a story for the sake of a story. I'm here to talk with you about lessons I learned during the time I was homeless and had no place to belong.
I'm here to discuss strategy, intervention, and the importance of developing new national protocols needed for us to become a more trauma-informed and self-healing nation.
I appreciate your interest, and look forward to sharing the art projects and recovery strategies that have helped bring healing and wholeness to my own life.
Our adventure is a family-friendly quest to help end homelessness in America, and create a place to belong... for ALL of us. We look forward to getting acquainted as you read and/or listen to our stories from the safety and comfort of your favorite family armchair.
