Episode 41 - In defence of Aikido with Tristan Chermack

Episode 41 - In defence of Aikido with Tristan Chermack

Aikido is a polarising martial art. Some love the fluid motions and beauty within the art, whereas others see it as a laughing stock of the Martial Arts, ineffective in real life, and more a health practice rather than a real `martial art`. Where has Aikido got this reputation from and is it deserved? Can we save Aikido from it's image or is it destined to fade into a Martial Art that is mainly for the movies or older generation? Myself and Tristan Chermack discuss these points.
