Reflections and Time-Hacks for the Nearly Burnt Out
Because BUSY is a drug many of us are unconsciously addicted to, we choose to act on things that may or may not make a meaningful impact. We spend our time instead of investing it. During this season of going back to school and juggling a million and one things in the middle of a pandemic, it's too easy to get sucked into the swirl of it all and burn completely out. Today's episode invites you to pause, reflect and consider "is what I'm choosing to do right now an action or an impact?" Being deliberate with how we invest our time, energy and attention IS our competitive edge.

Episode 276: Moving Through Life with Grace & Grit An Episode for 3 Special People in My Life
Last week someone gave me a beautiful compliment that brought tears to my eyes and resonated deep in my soul, all while reminding me of my Nanny and inspiring me to BE grace and grit for my daughters. Today's episode is about moving through life with grace and grit - through the joys, tears, triumphs and trials - finding our way to be both simple elegance and rugged determinism in pursuit of what our heart calls us towards. This is not an easy journey but it sure is a worthwhile one. This episode is dedicated to my grandmother Nanny who was the total embodiment of grace and grit and to my daughters Joy and Coral who I hope will choose grace and grit as they journey through life.

Episode 275: Personality Isn't Permanent with Dr. Benjamin Hardy
On today's episode, we have Dr. Benjamin Hardy who is an organizational psychologist and bestselling author of Willpower Doesn’t Work and Personality Isn't Permanent.
His blogs have been read by over 100 million people and are featured on Forbes, Fortune, CNBC, Cheddar, Big Think, and many others. He is a regular contributor to Inc. and Psychology Today and from 2015-2018, he was the #1 writer in the world on Medium.com.
He and his wife Lauren adopted three children through the foster system in February 2018 and, one month later, Lauren became pregnant with twins, who were born in December of 2018. They live in Orlando.

Episode 274: Eyes Wide Open - Choosing to See Even When It's Hard
Step into your life with an EYES WIDE OPEN approach 👀. Yes, there will be things that you're not excited to see (extra rolls on your belly, too many digits on your debt, toxicity or codependence in a relationship etc). But there will be many good things to celebrate too🎉. If you remind yourself that everything in your life today is a result of your past thoughts and actions, you can move forward powerfully and CHOOSE new ways of SEEING 👓 , BELIEVING 🔮 and ACTING 👟into your desired future NOW. You are POWER-FULL. You are CREATIVE. Your future can look absolutely nothing like your present or past. Today's episode is an invitation to see your current reality with total awareness (and no judgement) and to open up to the divine wisdom and miracles that manifest when we immerse ourselves with eyes wide open in the present moment.

Episode 273: Four Things Your Future Self Is Begging You to Give Up
On the road to becoming who we choose to be, we often focus on what we have to start or do to get there, and rarely, if ever, consider what we have to give up along the way. Quitting things is absolutely part of winning at our futures. On today's episode, learn the four things to give up or change in order to create your desired future, and hear how I gave up my most treasured morning ritual to support the energy of becoming my future self.

Episode 272: Awaiting Results: Being Psychologically Flexible In Scary Uncertainty
Cold symptoms 10 days after a hospital visit with my daughter + a low grade fever had me get tested for COVID-19 early this week. The onset of the symptoms, and where my mind went after that was NOT a place I want to spend a lot of time (way worse than a dark alley in the middle of the night!). I was in and out of full-fledged fear over the course of the next 12-18 hours. BUT because I take excellent care of myself, my heart and my mind, I was able to bounce back (aka be psychologically flexible) and use my tools to be OK and find joy, laughter and peace in the now, even while being physically isolated from my daughters (& the rest of the world). On today's episode, I share ways to stay sane amidst the chaos and uncertainty (that doesn't feel like it's going away anytime soon), and make an excited announcement about the future of the podcast.

Episode 271: Three Practices to Move Through RoadBlocks With Ease When You're Creating BIG CHANGE
Without fail, when we stretch ourselves into new territory with a goal that's outside of our 'norm,' something will come along to try and stop you. Because we memorize ways of being and states of reality in every cell of our bodies through our actions and habits, when our chemistry gets 'off' as we push through new limits, our body says 'hold up, this ain't right.' And then as crazy as it sounds, something will happen to try and pull you back to the old, memorized way of being. This is called upper-limiting, and it's the brain's way of keeping you safe.
Last week, my daughter fell and got a concussion (which required an ER visit and overnight stay) the same week I was doing big work to promote my Freedom & FUNds group. Instead of letting it throw me completely off and going into 'damsel in distress' mode, I practiced self-care and compassion, clearing, inquiry and reflected on what I was learning from all of it. On today's episode, learn practices to keep on keeping on when it feels like you've been thrown off track.

Episode 270: How to Stop Avoiding the Hard Things with Cherry Rose Tan
How good are you at talking about the hard things? How comfortable are you with the discomfort of facing your pain and using it as your greatest teacher? With 12 years of expertise in psychology, Cherry Rose has guided thousands through the trenches of mental health. Today's guest Cherry Rose Tan is more than willing to work through pain to find the lessons that lead her to be the greatest version of herself. You will be inspired by her story, blown away by her insights and have a new relationship with your pain as your greatest source of healing after you listen to today's episode.

Episode 269: Clearing Abundance Blocks to 8x My Income in One Month
I've read countless books on creating wealth, attended numerous webinars, workshops and retreats, listened to podcasts etc etc etc yet I still couldn't get past my abundance blocks to generate the income and profit I choose for myself. With a new 'why' as I uncouple and build a new life to support my girls and I, I got uber-focused and deliberate in June to using new tools and manifested over $60K of unexpected income. While I've certainly not arrived, something clicked for me last month. In today's episode, I share the program and simple tools I used, teach you how to use them yourself (even without buying the program) and invite you to join my FB community for an upcoming abundance clearing LIVE and information about a 90 day wealth creation group I'm brewing up to help you change your money conversation!

Episode 268: Your Personality IS Flawed AND It Doesn't Matter
Have you ever taken one of those personality assessments? 📝 Perhaps the Myers-Briggs (ENFP baby!), Enneagram (I'm a 7) or Hogan (my personal go-to).
Have you heard the quote "The greatest predictor of the future is the past?"
🗣️ It doesn't have to be that way!
While they're helpful in telling us who we've been and who we are now, they're not supportive of us BECOMING who we choose to BE in the future (unless you use them as a springboard of awareness and have a willingness to CHANGE how you see yourself and get massively uncomfortable).
On today's episode, I share thoughts and insights from Benjamin Hardy's new book Personality Isn't Permanent and some tools and practices I've been using to create more from my future than the past.
If you're ready for sustained changed AND willing to get uncomfortable to create the life you desire, this episode will support your journey.

Episode 267: Leading Well From Within During Extraordinary Times with Dr. Danny Friedland
If you've been grappling with how to show up for yourself and others in recent weeks amongst the racial unrest in our country, this episode will bring you resources to lead well from within. On today's episode, Dr. Danny Friedland, a renowned doctor in the Evidence-Based Medicine movement, massive contributor to the Conscious Capitalism movement and fellow XCHANGE guide and dear friend, you'll learn how to mindfully manage the oscillations you're experiencing between reactivity and creativity, separate content and context to engage with awareness and the most profound question you can ask yourself to see if you're truly showing up to create sustained change.
You can find Dr. Danny Friedland at www.supersmarthealth.com

Episode 266: The Three Steps of Deliberate Creation with Spiritual Musician & XCHANGE Guide Brotha James
Now more than ever, it's critical for each of us to show up powerfully and take FULL responsibility for our energy because our frequency directly impacts how we give, love and serve in the world. On today's episode, musical sensation Jeremy Reisig (aka Brotha James) shares through our buoyant yet deep conversation and abundantly joyful music how to take charge of our energy, connect to our higher wisdom and inquire within to live in our highest vibration.

Episode 265: The Power of Your Well-Being & Being Unmuted
Rachel Drukenmiller was the #1 health promotion professional in the United States and a Director of Well-Being for a large consulting firm before starting her mission-driven business as a speaker and facilitator to help people get unmuted. Through her personal experience of singing in a gospel choir, studying abroad and advancing in her career so forcefully that she compromised her own well-being, she's learned the power of wellness AND using our voice to be the FULL expression of who we are in the world. On today's episode, learn why taking care of YOU and fully expressing your truth is the only way to live.

Episode 264: Fiercely Finding and Re-Connecting to the SOURCE of all Change (within and without)
I experienced a bug invasion in my studio that rocked my world this week. After denying it, resisting it, fighting it, getting pissed off at it, blaming my landlord about it, I came to a place of peace. Once I had let go of that lower energy to embrace a higher vibration, I found what I had been seeking - the SOURCE, the cause, the origin of the invasion - was easily found and eliminated.
On today's episode, I explore some questions: how might we fiercely find and re-connect to the SOURCE of all change to change it FOR GOOD? How might we quickly find the origin of the problem to delete it, destroy it and uncreate it so we can start fresh?
These are questions I've been asking myself on a micro and macro level to open to the infinite possibilities of healing available when we shine a light on what's not working patiently and compassionately and allow ourselves to be transformed to a more evolved self and world.

Episode 263: Shining a Light On, Inquiring Into and Clearing Away What's Not Working (without the heaviness of shame)
One day we will look back at this very moment in history and think to ourselves, "Wow! That was really hard." It's not easy to face the things that are not working as individuals or the collective. Over the last ten days, I've been getting very real with myself around my finances. At the same time the national racism protests flared up following the murder of George Floyd and brought to the light the truth about racism in our country - it is still alive. Oddly, I have noticed a striking similarity between these inner and outer world experiences. When I go into shame and blame around what I've done 'wrong' in my financial life, I contract and feel heavy and want to continue avoiding. The same thing happens with racism - if I choose to feel shame about my role in racism instead of shining the light to say, "yes, I see you and I'm willing to work with you" I stay in denial or guilt. If I choose to ask "What will it take to change this?" and then clear any blocks in the way (old stories, beliefs, thoughts), I have a renewed sense of energy, power and courage to face whatever is no longer working. On today's episode, learn the techniques I've been using to shine a light and release old stories that don't serve me, and perhaps find some release from the helplessness you've been feeling about the state of our country or any area of your life that's in shambles.

Episode 262: What to Do When You Realize You're a Deprivation Addict
The Quarantine was a time to be with ourselves (and our loved ones) in a way like never before. <> Words that recently jumped off of the pages of articles and books that rang true for me, and a conversation this week about being alone with my family led me to realize that I'm in the midst of recovering from a lifetime of 'good enough.' On today's episode, I offer you WTF to do when you realize you're a deprivation addict stuck in between the not-true-enough life you're living now and the one that rings true in your imagination.

Episode 261: Releasing Inertia and Letting Go of Excuses
Before I knew the world would be put on a mandatory "time out," I chose to put myself on one to rest, heal and see what would emerge. Now I'm realizing that my inertia has gotten the best of me and it's time to record this show again, show up for people and share my own struggles and vulnerabilities as a reassurance that you're not in this alone, we all FEEL the plethora FEELS and we always have the choice to BE right here, right now, in this moment the FULLNESS that we already are. No need for outside validation. No need for compliments. No need for anything except your own beating heart and life-giving breath. On today's episode, I invite you into inquiry around your own inertia and the totality of possibility that can emerge when you get out of your own way.

Episode 260: Four Telltale Signs That It's Time for a Reboot
Have you heard the quote, "If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always gotten?" Yep. If I keep doing this podcast with the low level of energy I've been putting into it, nothing good will come of it. On today's episode, I'm announcing a pause of the show for my birthday month (Feb 25th if you want to send me a gift!) AND a super-fun challenge I'm leading in the FB group focused on fun, pleasure and bringing more energy to your life. Jump on over the my FB community to join and be on the lookout for the challenge to start Feb 1st.

Episode 259: Three Future Hacking Practices for Enjoyable Manifesting
Think of a time when you manifested something that you got really excited. Maybe it was meeting an idol, landing your dream job or encountering your soulmate. What can you notice or appreciate about how it happened? Who were you being in the process? How did you feel when it happened?
As I reflect on my own magical manifestations, I'm clearer about my own secret sauce for manifesting. On today's episodes, I share with you two successes and one failure in manifesting to teach you three future hacking practices to amp up your manifestation abilities.

Episode 258: Do Us All A Favor & Have Some FUN!
If you were to give yourself a score, 1 to 5 (5 being exuberant, ecstatic joy and 1 being total doom and gloom), how would you rate your sense of inner aliveness, joy and pleasure right now? Inspired by my Mama Gena reading of late, I've shifted my life to put pleasure at the top of my to-do list, even though circumstance are not all sunshine, lollipops and roses around here, and there's still lots to do. No matter where you're starting, on today's episode, I invite you to turn up the pleasure dial in your day-to-day to not only enjoy life more, but to actually get more shit done!

Episode 257: Tuning in to the Wisdom of Your Intuition with Julie Reisler
Have you ever made a decision that wasn't logical but that you KNEW in your heart of hearts was right? Have you ever gotten a surprising sign from the Universe to let you know that you're on track? Have you ever overridden your heart with your head and later been disappointed? Today's episode is all about tuning into your divine wisdom. Learn how to trust your intuition, look for signs and track your decision-making abilities with one of the most tuned-in, badass goddesses I know, Julie Reisler.

Episode 256: Are You Unwilling to Learn These Lessons from the Dead of Winter?
Nature is a great teacher that we're usually too busy to learn from. We've been trained to value production, getting shit checked off our list and doing things we may not love to make money, because irregardless of what's happening in nature, we're desperate to prove our worth. Today's episode is an invitation to consider three lessons we can learn from the dead of winter that will support our self-care and manifesting in 2020.

Episode 255: My Most Uncomfortable Episode To Date on Achieving Goals
After doing a few transformational processes by my coach, Allana Pratt, I woke up over the weekend feeling a new level of embodiment of my goals. It was a strange feeling, but it felt right. I felt SURE that my goals were not only possible but DONE. It was like they moved deeper inside of me, and as I wrote about them, I felt called to pick up a book a friend recommended to me a few months ago. My first thought was, "Oh no. I'm not reading that one." But I allowed my intuition to win and I'm so glad I did. On today's episode, get the full story of how I came to realize that my pleasure IS the true source of my power and what they hell THAT has to do with achieving my goals.

Episode 253: Stop Reframing Your Way Away from Negativity
Changing your viewpoint to see things in a more positive manner seems like such a productive, uplifting way to live. And it is in so many ways. It makes you more vibrant, pleasant to be around and resilient. But it also shortchanges your chance to just FEEL what you FEEL with no judgement, label or need to be different. As Kristin Neff says, PAIN + RESISTANCE = SUFFERING. If you take away resistance to unpleasant feelings, you drastically reduce suffering. On today's episode, learn how reframing can actually be harmful and hear how sitting in the fire of our dissatisfaction can lead to our greatest transformation.

Episode 252: A Simple Practice to Close the Year (and Decade!) and Choose Powerfully for 2020
Instead of reflecting on your year, celebrating your wins and thinking about what you need to let go of as you move into a new year, you've likely rushed into thinking about what you want to create in 2020. On today's show, I encourage you to slow down and reflect to close out your year (in 60 minutes or less) and how to speak your 2020 dreams into existence with one simple word.

Episode 251: One Essential Self-Love Practice to Thrive During the Holidays
"Love is a mirror, it reflects only your essence, if you have the courage to look in its face." -Rumi
This 'most wonderful time of year' is full of frenetic, consumeristic, rushing, busy energy that drains our souls and leads us to wonder why we're not feeling so wonderful. In this time of forced giving and getting, offering yourself the gift of self-love will not only help you to feel fulfilled, warm and connected inside, it will lead you to many outer gifts that were previously unavailable when you left yourself behind.
On today's episode, I invite you into the next challenge I'll be leading in my Facebook community (The Morning Light Show) and introduce to you your first self-love practice, Louise Hay's mirror work. We'll be following the book Life Loves You together here and in the community so stay tuned in and get ready for a self-love fest that will truly help you see yourself as THE greatest gift.

Is there's something that you've always really, really wanted, but didn't know how to create it? On today's episode, learn how the amygdala works (it's not the fear-based, fight or flight enemy you think), the internal and external factors of creating sustained change and exactly how to drastically change your personal reality through the power of up-leveling your baseline.

Episode 247: ThanksRECEIVING: 2 Ways to Receive More Abundantly & Gratefully
'Tis the season of giving, so much so that we forget there's a receiving element to the equation that's a necessary part of the flow. My kids have no problem with this. They gladly receive (barely saying thank you) and certainly don't offer any apologetic justifications for their receptivity. On today's episode, learn how to receive anything from a compliment to unexpected money more fluidly and practice the magic of being grateful AHEAD of your dreams coming true.

Episode 246: Your Vibe & Clear Intentions Create Your Life
Clear Intentions + Elevated Energy = The Future Your Desire
Being super aware of your personal vibration as I spoke about in the last episode is the first step in creating the future you desire. You can measure your personal vibration with a HRV (heart rate variability) monitor to get a clear picture of how you're doing, but if that's not available, you can breath deeply in and out of your heart space and feel the calmness come over you as you get into coherence. Another option, is to deliberately practice gratitude because when we appreciate, we feel whole and when we feel whole we want for nothing, and as ironic as it sounds, when we want for nothing, we have everything available to us. From this elevated energy, when you send out the signal of a clear intention, the Universe can deliver is the quickest and most unexpected way possible.

Episode 245: Elevating & Sustaining Your Personal Vibration to Lead A Life You Love
You personal vibration is the combination of your thoughts, feelings, attitudes and behaviors that literally creates a field of energy around your body. Your current life circumstances are what they are because they align with your current vibration level. If you want to create (and sustain) a new reality for yourself, you have to uplevel your vibration, shift your baseline and align with the level of energy of whatever it is you want to create. On today's episode, learn about my biggest takeaways about personal vibration from my recent experience at the Heartmath Institute's Global Coherence Conference and a Joe Dispenza keynote.

Today's guest, Mo McKenna, has an incredible energy, passion and desire to learn. Today she helps organizational climates be renewed through relationships and conversations. In other words, she helps people be more human (and productive) at work. On today's episode, learn how to get a Return on Energy v. Return on Investment, to focus on the climate of your organization so people flourish and shift from a knowing to growing culture.

Poised as we are on the knife’s edge between socio-environmental disaster and a liveable future, one question cuts to the core of our future: Will the result be chaos and the even more repressive and dictatorial regimes so often arising from chaotic conditions? Or will we emerge from the eggshell of our Industrial Age institutions into a new world of profound, constructive organizational change? The answer lies in the very concept of organization and in the beliefs and values of individuals.

Episode 243: Don't Be Scared, DARE to DREAM (Your Pre-Gratitude Challenge Commitment)
What do you really, really want? That was a question I opened many coaching conversations with in the past, and every time I would ask it, I would notice people's eyes turning up, which means they're engaging they're pre-frontal cortex (right behind the brow) in actual thinking v. default mode auto-pilot.
It's time to get off of auto-pilot and be deliberate about what you want to create in your life. When you focus on your dreams in combination with your 30-day gratitude practice (which starts tomorrow, join the party!), you have the magic formula of creation covered - clear intentions + elevated energy = manifestation / magical co-creation with the Universe.

Episode 234: Navigating the Messy Middle (aka the Liminal Space)
My friend Barbara Leahy introduced me to a new word that she knew would spark this episode! Are you ready for it?
LIMINALITY - the in between moments, the space between the inciting incident and the protagonist's resolution. It is often a period of discomfort, of waiting, and of transformation. A place where your old habits, beliefs and even personal identity disintegrates.
This space is a metamorphosis; a moment in time when you know the person you were before and after would be completely different, much in the same way that a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Perhaps this has happened when you were between jobs, on a weight loss journey, struggling in a relationship, or after losing a loved one.
On today's show, hear my two cents on how to move through these times of uneasiness and discomfort to become the YOU you're meant to be.

Episode 233: What if there's nothing to worry about?
"Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorry; it empties today of its strength." -Corrie Ten Boom
After receiving guidance from my angel card deck that 'there's nothing to worry about' on today's episode, I to share with you the same message AND tell you about how my grandfathers have been guiding me of late.

Episode 232: Knowing the Source of EGO to Live A More Aligned Life
As humans, we all have an ego. Wayne Dyer said the E.G.O. stood for Edging God Out. Matt Kahn says the ego is the result of an overstimulated nervous system. Whatever you believe it to be, it is not who you are at your core. It shows up fiercely to falsely inflate your sense of worth, and just as quickly to squash you into a small victim mindset. How confusing is that? On today's episode, we unpack the ego and talk about how to soothe it when it gets the best of you.

Episode 231: Are You Overdoing it with Self-Help?
We're taught from early on that the most valuable wisdom we can seek comes from outside of us. We listen to our school teachers, parents and other 'experts' who know better than we do because they're older or more educated. Even when we awaken to our own consciousness and learn about our innate power to create a life in alignment with our truest nature, we often times get overly-outward focused. On today' episode, learn how to hear your own internal wisdom and get tips on how to tune back in to the truth of your soul.

Episode 230: A Simple Solution to All Your Problems
It's easy to stand back, observe someone else's life and say, "Ah, easy. They should do this or that." When we think that way, or even worse, when we give people advice based on this thinking, we shortchange the opportunity to truly hold space and connect with one another. On today's episode, learn how to solve (or simply hold space for) your own problems (not others) through a new lens and to re-prioritize what's important to you.
