As we are getting into the story of the Wicked Witch of the West, Zelena, we are met with twisty reveal after twisty reveal. This is getting into the juicy part of what has so far been an AMAZING season.

Coming back from winter break, this was a ZINGER of an episode. Henry is weirdly a lot older and deep voiced, Emma is trying to get her memories back, there are flying monkeys, and reveals all over the place. Hook is charming as ever, and we once again have issues with Snow being forcefully pushy about how to do things. Ultimately though, this one definitely had us on the edge of our seats, and has one of the best end of episode reveals to date. Enjoy!

IT'S MID-SEASON FINALE TIME, and boy did this episode deliver! Its about as high stakes as it gets this week as Pan threatens to destroy the entire town and everyone in it. It marks a big transition; the ending of the Neverland story arch is finally here, and next week we introduce a new one, with new characters to dive into #WickedIsComing This one had us one the edge of our seats and we cant wait to hear from you about it!

We are deep into the Neverland story now and things are getting good. The stakes are high and the tension is higher. This week we spend an entire podcast worth of time on the preshow, and then when we finally watch the show, we get into Hook's delightfully intriguing backstory, and end on a chilling ultimatum.

Such a cool concept for an episode: this actually goes back to the moment our characters literally land the town into the Land Without Magic back in 1983, and follows a father and son through a bit of a weird time in the freshly created Storybrooke. We also get a reveal at the end of the episode that almost rivals MANHATTAN. Yet another amazing nail bitter episode. Also, another "we are both broken" moment: White Chicks.

It ended up being some of the best writing, the best acting, delightful backstories, and nail-biting almost-kissing scenes we've gotten to this point. We laughed, we cried, ila even yanked her headphones out of her microphone accidentally. Someone even went toe to toe with Emma in a game of bantering AND WON. Honestly, there is a lot we go over in this episode including discussions about relationships, Regina's motivations, the structure of tv episode writing, and so much more. This is NOT ONE TO MISS. Well, here's a strange episode that doesn't really forward the plot almost at all but we still somehow enjoyed. That being said, the very ending that has NOTHING to do with the episode whatsoever introduced a new mysterious character that left us S P E E C H L E S S. We tried not to spoil anything about him, but needless to say we are SO pumped were getting into his story already. But, thats for next week. It feels like the episodes just keep getting better and better. After a winter break of a couple weeks, OUAT came back with a vengeance with this bang up Mr. Gold episode. It's got political theatre in a real theatre, peoples plot twists have plot twists, and we find out how Rumpelstiltskin gets hive groove...in the first place. AND, we re-up on our OUAT drinking game and lock on to some more of our standing rules.

New sound queues, same old chaotic recording. In this episode, a mystery Storybrooke resident starts to remember their life before the curse, and it escalates so quickly that we lose one of our beloved characters. We also start to really see some of Regina's (literal) hold on the town which means things are going to start ramping up soon. Snow and Charming OTPers unite! We really get in to the soapiest of operas this episode with a deep dive into the David/Mary Margaret/Kathryn love triangle. There were quite a few moments where you can audibly hear us holding our breath when they are on screen together. PLUS, we unpack a little more of the strange timeline issues about the 10 (maybe?) years we haven't yet seen between the Dark Curse and Storybrooke time. Spoilers: its full of plot holes, but we forgive because this episode is steamy nonetheless.

MIDWEEK BONUS EPISODE! Ah, Rumpelstiltskin you little mischievous imp. This episode is all about the original Golddigger himself as he delivers probably the most iconic line in all of OUAT lore for the very first time. We also meet 'Ella' and her Storybrooke counterpart Ashley who is basically given a slave name we all keep repeating, and doesn't understand how contracts work. Viewing party begins at 17:24.
