We are finally here, on the last year of our journey through the 90s and this year was another corker for films, so it was a tough choice for the lads but they came up trumps with their final picks. We say goodbye to 1998 by celebrating this pioneering year in games by discussing three wonderful games that were released this year. No Rich this week meant Jason had to find a suitable replacement and came up trumps when The AMAZING Cliff from the N64life podcast agreed to take his place. This week brings us one of the biggest movies ever released. A film so big in 1996 other films had to be moved or postponed because of it. Independence Day was and still is in some cases the blockbuster film and we jump in to discuss many aspects of the film from praising the best parts to questioning some of the decisions that were made and why some of it just wouldn't work in real life. And yes, Jason is well aware he say’s June 2nd and not July 2nd…..muppet! Not gonna lie, this one nearly didn't happen. From plenty of technical issues that were thrown our way we nearly called it a day, but we decided to struggle through and we think we ended up with a good show for you to enjoy. This week we continue our journey through the 90's and this time its the turn of video games. Before we discuss our picks we had a cheeky look through the multi format top ten for week 51 of 1996 and then progressing to our games which this week were Wipeout 2097, Tomb Raider and Quake. We say goodbye to 1993 by discussing one of that years biggest blockbusters, Jurassic Park.  We all have a place in our hearts for for this film, from its wonderful story, the out of this world soundtrack, effects that still look as good today as they did in 1993 and the vision of Steven Spielberg all combined to make what a lot of people would say is the perfect film.
