Spellbound by Emily Bronte | The World of Momus Podcast
Spellbound | Emily Bronte (1818 - 1848) The night is darkening round me, The wild winds coldly blow; But a tyrant spell has bound me And I cannot, cannot go. The giant trees are bending Their bare boughs weighed with snow. And the storm is fast descending, And yet I cannot go. Clouds beyond clouds above me, Wastes beyond wastes below; But nothing drear can move me; I will not, cannot go. Trees by Joyce Kilmer | The World of Momus Podcast
Trees by Joyce Kilmer I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree. A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast; A tree that looks at God all day, And lifts her leafy arms to pray; A tree that may in summer wear A nest of robins in her hair; Upon whose bosom snow has lain; Who intimately lives with rain. Poems are made by fools like me But only God can make a tree. Alone by Edgar Allan Poe | The World of Momus Podcast
“Alone” BY EDGAR ALLAN POE From childhood’s hour I have not been As others were—I have not seen As others saw—I could not bring My passions from a common spring— From the same source I have not taken My sorrow—I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone— And all I lov’d—I lov’d alone— Then—in my childhood—in the dawn Of a most stormy life—was drawn From ev’ry depth of good and ill The mystery which binds me still— From the torrent, or the fountain— From the red cliff of the mountain— From the sun that ’round me roll’d In its autumn tint of gold— From the lightning in the sky As it pass’d me flying by— From the thunder, and the storm— And the cloud that took the form (When the rest of Heaven was blue) Of a demon in my view—

Democracy is a Lie, When all we can do is Cry | Momus Najmi
Democracy is a Lie, When all we can do is Cry There's globalist on both sides right or left it doesn't matter money is king, power is god we on our knees, make it stop ! Democracy is a LIE When all we can do is CRY Banks CONTROL our throats so MARKETS make them float with OUR blood, sweat and tears making profits like its THEIRS Every man and woman should be independent and free free to choose OF THEIR OWN WILL when to screw or be screwed Not RIGHT how they come after us How they divide us and make us HATE Give us nothing but fake promises Give examples of fake successes Fill our heads, with how they see us Caring not, if it makes or breaks us Sell yourself, be rich So they say Sell your body, sell your morals Make money your god And be happy Happy with the waste that You help create But that’s not true and you know it Money is a tool and power is God They sit in senates and parliaments BICKERING and FIGHTING over lost ARGUMENTS Moments have gone, time has passed Lets move on From this HUMAN BOT manufacturing plant Old ideas are not the answer Recycled ravings of a failed economist I am not talking about world peace either Hand in hand, singing kumbaya No, I am talking about accountability and regulations To support a free society Where we take care of our own But don’t make them dependent Where we pay our fair share But don’t get taken for mugs Keep more of what we earn And share voluntarily Don’t get constantly indoctrinated With hits of fake dopamine Don’t get made lab rats In someone else’s experiments With years upon years of CONSEQUENCES Resulting in our DISARMARMENT. Focus on locals, be less on socials Break free of the chains And learn to use your vocals First and foremost We fix the families Who start fixing the neighbourhoods And the generations to come Who start fixing local communities And then the counties Who start fixing the country And the economy of life Human values Through human eyes Broken homes make broken minds Broken minds produce more crime Crimes break a system Let corruption take hold And break the good people Make them do what they told Focus on locals, be less on socials Break free of the chains
And learn to use your vocals
Democracy is lie
If all we can do is cry - Momus Najmi

She Walks in Beauty by Lord Byron | The World of Momus Podcast
This is a reading of a Lord Byron poem, She Walks in Beauty: She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that’s best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes; Thus mellowed to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies. One shade the more, one ray the less, Had half impaired the nameless grace Which waves in every raven tress, Or softly lightens o’er her face; Where thoughts serenely sweet express, How pure, how dear their dwelling-place. And on that cheek, and o’er that brow, So soft, so calm, yet eloquent, The smiles that win, the tints that glow, But tell of days in goodness spent, A mind at peace with all below, A heart whose love is innocent!
