Krysta Masciale - Rebranding America

The upcoming election in the United States is the most important of our lifetimes. I thought it would be interesting to have a conversation on this topic, but through a slightly different lens than you might be used to in these polarizing times, and I hope this conversation is thoughtful in that respect.

My guest today is back for her third time on the show. She’s dedicated the last 20 years of her career studying, building and reinventing brands. Her work as an executive brand strategist gives her a unique perspective on the language used to describe an experience and the behavior that follows. And It’s inspired her latest project, Rebranding America: A new show premiering this week on YouTube—that explores question, “Who would America be if it actually became who it said it was?”

Please enjoy my conversation with Krysta Masciale.

Jarl Jensen : Optimizing America

Jarl Jensen : Optimizing America

My guest today is a New Jersey born and Denmark raised writer and inventor. After a successful career in engineering (where he was a contributor to many successful patents, including a medical device along side his father), he found himself looking for new ways to give back.
He believes the dysfunctional economy is the most important issue of our time.
He’s taken his passion to use ideas to solve the world’s problems, and applied this thinking to America’s economy in the book, Optimizing America.
Through vivid scenery, memorable characters, and intense drama, he encourages the reader to ponder hardline questions that challenge modern political punditry, shatter the “news-in-a-loop” cycle, and change the way we think about the distribution of wealth.
Our conversation is incredibly timely, relevant, and important.
And I hope that the insight we share today causes you to think about ways in which you can help facilitate conversation and drive change in this area…
It’s time to think outside the lines with Jarl Jensen.
Guest Bio:
Jarl Jensen is a New Jersey born and Denmark raised writer and inventor. He returned to the US for school, but still considers Denmark his home traveling back and forth regularly. He learned a lot from his father, an engineer and inventor who held many patents. When he was only sixteen, Jarl was a contributor to a successful patent along with his father, a medical device, that led to the launch of a wound care company called Euromed. After college, Jarl started working at Euromed mixing adhesive which led to many more patent filings.
His father eventually became the owner of Euromed and after he got sick and passed away,Jarl helped revive it. They went from zero to making a profit in about six months. Jarl began in Research and Development and redesigned the product lines, lowering the costs by 50-60%, making it one of the most advanced products in the industry at the time. These innovations led to new product launches and more patents, the business grew from six to eight figures in just a few years. In 2004, Jarl took over the company as CEO growing Euromed to $20 million in revenue before selling it for 17x earnings to a publicly traded company in 2016.
After his successful exit, Jarl is looking to give back and is addressing the most important issue of our time, the dysfunctional economy. As an idea man, Jarl sees things differently and focuses more on out of the box solutions. His real passion is to use ideas to solve the world’s problems. Jarl has applied this thinking to America’s economy in the book, Optimizing America. Through vivid scenery, memorable characters, and intense drama, he encourages the reader to ponder hardline questions that challenge modern political punditry, shatter the “news-in-a-loop” cycle, and change the way we think about the distribution of wealth.

Kevin Murphy : The Three Rooms--Which Are You Living In?

Kevin Murphy : The Three Rooms--Which Are You Living In?

My guest today is a former Wall Street managing director, community activist, speaker, coach, and author of the book The Three Rooms.
These experiences have given him a unique and eclectic mix of understanding human nature. He noticed that our happiness and unhappiness in life is always the result of our thoughts – whether observations of the present, memories from the past, or projected fears about the future. Combining this theory with the deep personal insights he attained along his own 20+ year spiritual journey, he stepped away from the corporate world to write The Three Rooms, in which he explains how observing which room your thoughts are in, can change your experience of life.
The book invites you to start the process of better monitoring your thoughts—while providing you the keys to transform your life by doing so.
I think there’s a ton of insight in this conversation, and I’m excited to share it with you.
It’s time to think outside the lines with Kevin Murphy.
Guest Bio:
KEVIN MURPHY is a former Wall Street managing director, high school and collegiate wrestling champion, community activist, speaker, coach, and author of the book The Three Rooms.
During his highly successful 33-year career at Citigroup, Kevin was responsible for the sales, marketing and trading of several different businesses within the firm. He served on the Board of Directors of multiple option exchanges and spoke at conferences all over the world. He is a former chairman of the SIFMA Option Committee and has lectured both U.S. Regulatory and Congressional staff on the education of the options and securities markets. Kevin currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cboe Global Market’s six U.S. securities exchanges.
Following his college wrestling career, he has served as a youth wrestling coach on Long Island for over 30 years. His lifetime service to the sport of wrestling led to his induction into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2009. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the non-profit Friends of Long Island Wrestling, and has spear-headed a campaign to raise awareness of the opioid and drug epidemic that is sweeping the country.
These experiences have given Kevin a unique and eclectic mix of understanding human nature. He noticed that our happiness and unhappiness in life is always the result of our thoughts – whether observations of the present, memories from the past, or projected fears about the future. Mark Gober : An End To Upside Down Thinking

Mark Gober : An End To Upside Down Thinking

We’ve got an incredibly special episode for you today. I’m gonna go out on a limb, and say that its probably one of the most fascinating and insightful conversations I’ve ever had on this podcast. I strongly encourage you to suspend your disbelief and just listen with an open mind.
It’s people like my guest today, who are out there helping to facilitate just some really intelligent conversation on the topic of consciousness— he’s written an incredible new book entitled AN END TO UPSIDE DOWN THINKING, where he explores some of life’s most challenging questions about who we are as human beings.
In the book, he explores the idea that, contrary to mainstream assumptions, consciousness is NOT produced by the brain.
This book has been endorsed by well-known thinkers like two time Nobel prize nominee, Dr. Ervin Laszlo, Harvard Neurosurgeon and #1 New York Times bestselling author, Eben Alexander MD. Even Goldie Hawn said that while reading this book, “New pathways of the mind will open and perhaps shift your perception of reality, time and space, and above all consciousness!”
I can tell you that I first discovered him on another podcast, and knew immediately that I wanted to have a conversation of my own with him.
I really hope that you enjoy this incredibly insightful conversation…as we think outside the lines with Mark Gober.
Guest Bio:
Mark Gober is an author whose worldview was turned upside down in late 2016 when he was exposed to world-changing science. After researching extensively, he wrote An End to Upside Down Thinking to introduce the general public to these cutting-edge ideas – all in an effort to encourage a much-needed global shift in scientific and existential thinking.
Mark has long sought answers to life’s challenging questions. As an undergraduate at Princeton University, he was drawn to astrophysics because he wanted to understand the universe. But because due to commitments as a member of Princeton’s Division I Tennis Team, he decided that astrophysics would be too demanding. So instead of studying the invisible forces that govern the universe, he studied the invisible forces that secretly drive human behavior, getting a degree in psychology, focusing on behavioral economics.
After college, he explored the universe through books for fun. But it wasn’t until the summer of 2016 that he randomly stumbled across a series of podcasts that exposed him to some radical new ideas. Those ideas put into question the most basic assumptions about who and what we are as human beings. The more he researched, the more he realized that he needed to rethink everything that he thought he knew.
When he began relating to friends his research, they told him it changed the way they looked at life. Their lives started to improve. After he’d heard that multiple times, he realized it was time to share his research with a broader audience through his book and podcast so he could help more people.

Karen Chaston : Live Love by Design

Karen Chaston : Live Love by Design

My guest today is a former Chief Financial officer, turned author. Her latest book is titled, Live Love by Design, and its all about shifting our focus from stress and worry to freedom and joy.
I’ve interviewed a lot of people for this show, but I must confess that this is one of my favorite conversations. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, that I’ve already asked her to come back on the show to share more of her wisdom.
We cover so many amazing and important topics in this conversation…and Im so inspired by her perspective on life, death, purpose…I’m really excited to share this interview with you today. I hope it inspires you.
All the way from Australia, its time to think outside the lines with Karen Chaston.
Guest Bio:
As a former corporate Chief Financial Officer, Karen Chaston brings a unique perspective; extensive business experience and hard-earned wisdom that she wished were available to her when she needed them.
Karen ran on the corporate treadmill until the day the world came tumbling down on her head. The constant effort of juggling work, family, the big house and cars, and the stress created by all that was taking its toll on her even before tragedy struck when her son died at a young age.
Karen’s suffering and disappointments became the catalyst for personal and spiritual growth, leading to her creating “Live Love By Design” on and offline programs, book and online TV show.
For many women in business, we focus on money and profits. Karen’s strategic approach combines her life experience and financial expertise to assist women specifically, to heal from their major life events. Allowing them to easily shift their focus from stress and worry to freedom and joy.
Best of all, Karen’s Live Love By Design key notes and programs will make you laugh, cry and look at life from a completely new perspective. You’ll receive actionable systems you can implement immediately whilst keeping you focused on the most important person in your life: YOU.

Dr. Chris Hahn : Unbox Yourself

Dr. Chris Hahn : Unbox Yourself

My guest today is a former dentist turned Freedom Entrepreneur who helps people escape the mundane and fearlessly explore life through the power of passion and purpose.
He’s written an amazing book entitled, “UNBOX YOURSELF”, in which he helps the reader to discover their passions and purpose in life.
This is the sort of conversation that continues to motivate me to do this show. And I believe you will feel immensely better after listening.
Its time to think outside the lines with Dr. Chris Hahn.
//
Guest bio:
I am a hopeless optimist - few things manage to penetrate my positive mindset.
Life is all about choices and I firmly believe that how we feel and think affects the outcome of each and every one of them.
Professionally I am a dentist, entrepreneur, inventor, author, speaker and coach. I use my problem solving gift and passion to aid other souls in unboxing themselves so they can live a life of greatness.
Success can mean just about anything - the meaning will change with time...
In my teens I attributed academic achievement to success, graduating as a Valedictorian from my High School. Shortly thereafter I graduated from the USC School of Dentistry, Magna Cum Laude, at age 24. Only a few years later I became one of, if not the youngest AACD Accredited Cosmetic Dentist in the World. I was climbing this ladder of success as quickly as I could and became a millionaire before the age of 30.
Then everything changed. I began looking at life a little differently. Contributing to the happiness of others, including myself became my focus. I studied happiness for many years and consequentially made many significant changes in my life.
Purpose, passion, freedom, peace and love overshadow any level of financial success anyone could ever achieve and this is where I dedicate my energy to now.
If you are looking to be infected with success, happiness, passion and purpose, then I am your vector.

Karen Noe : Profound Truths for Inner and Outer Peace

Karen Noe : Profound Truths for Inner and Outer Peace

My guest today is a renowned psychic medium, spiritual counselor, and healer with a two-year waiting list.
She is the author of the brand new book: We Consciousness: 33 Profound Truths for Inner and Outer Peace, along with several other best-selling titles. She is the founder of the Angel Quest Center in Waldwick, New Jersey, where she teaches classes, gives readings, and practices alternative healing.
We have a fascinating conversation about energy, consciousness, life, death, and everything in between.
Its time to think outside the lines with Karen Noe.
Guest Bio:
Karen Noé, an internationally renowned psychic medium for the past two decades with a two-year client waiting list, was a deep admirer of Dr. Wayne W Dyer, a man whose teachings truly transformed her life. But shortly after his passing in 2015, he began a dialogue with her that resulted in not only personal messages to his family, but a world-changing message for humanity.Dyer opened the way for Noé to become a powerful conduit to deliver WE CONSCIOUSNESS: 33 Profound Truths for Inner and Outer Peace (Hay House, April 2018), an extraordinary collaboration with Dyer and a collective known as the WE Guides, including St. Francis of Assisi, bringing forth vital information for all of humanity on how we can achieve heaven on earth today. The 33 concepts in the book are the keys to experiencing the divinity within us, the one consciousness to which we all are connected. As we live these precepts, we create the inner peace that can translate into external peace in the world. The WE Guides ARE the consciousness that enable us to be instruments of peace if we follow their guidance. And today, she continues as the Dyer family medium, bringing Wayne’s messages directly to his widow and children.

Corbie Mitleid : Clean Out Your Life Closet

Corbie Mitleid : Clean Out Your Life Closet

My guest today has been on the mystic’s path for over 40 years, searching out new and gentler ways to bring peace and harmony to body, mind and soul.
Her latest book, “Clean Out Your Life Closet” helps readers to write their own story of change based on history, life experiences, and personal goals.
If you’re looking for more clarity in your life, then this conversation will most definitely inspire you.
Its time to think outside the lines with Corbie Mitleid.
Guest Bio:
Corbie Mitleid has always been “the different one.” A writer and visionary in a completely medical family (father a doctor, mother a nurse, brother a doctor), she has always made her own path rather than take one cut for her by others. Leaving an Ivy League university after two years, Corbie struck out to find where joy and purpose lived, regardless of what she was told she “ought” to do.
The path wasn’t easy. Two marriages, which didn’t last, and a constant search for the Partner Who Understood. A succession of jobs. A series of spiritual paths. Moving from Cambridge to Philadelphia to Poughkeepsie to New York City to Atlanta. Out of the blue, breast cancer—not once, but three times. Life became a roller coaster with no brakes, asking Corbie to survive divorce, abuse, poverty and life-threatening illness. But through all of this, she learned the value of the Examined Life: meeting challenges and always asking the next question, facing each new situation with strength, courage and humor.
Today, Corbie brings a full toolbox to her job as a beacon of manifestation and vision for her clients. She knows what it is to create a career out of experiences. While she’s now a full-time intuitive counselor and inspirational speaker, her career has encompassed positions as a published author, a professional actress, a television producer, a radio personality, an executive recruiter and the “power behind the throne” for a number of high-profile CEOs.
Corbie’s career now spans the globe, with clients worldwide. Her talents as an intuitive are featured in bestselling books. Still, her clients treasure her attitude of I’m not special, you can do what I do.
“We have opportunities we can go after, and challenges to get past,” she says firmly. “My job is to give you the tools and courage to deal with both situations. Everything else is free will, and up to you!”
Corbie lives in upstate New York with her husband Carle, a professional historian, and three large and exuberant Maine Coon cats. For more information, please visit:

Jürgen Schmechel : The Science Behind Relationships

Jürgen Schmechel : The Science Behind Relationships

My guest today wants to get us talking about the science behind relationships, and draw attention to the things in our relationships that we should be paying more attention to.
His goal is to help create a world where couples live in loving, intimate and respectful relationships, enabling their children to grow up loved.
He is a keen observer of human psychology, a master in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Ericksonian Hypnosis and a certified Results Coach.
There are a ton of gems in this conversation, where we explore how our behavior takes place at both a conscious and unconscious level. My hope is that there is something you can take away from this conversation and apply it to a relationship in your life.
Its time to think outside the lines with Jürgen Schmechel.
Guest Bio:
Jürgen Schmechel was born 1960 in Hamburg, Germany as the second son to his parents. He lived, studied, worked and married in Hamburg – to then be raising two sons himself. In 2004 his family moved to Australia to learn and live in a different culture. Jürgen is a keen observer of human psychology, he is a master in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Ericksonian Hypnosis and a certified Results Coach.
Over the past 24 years Jürgen realized that he and his wife are doing things differently in their marriage from others. Some of their behavior was conscious, some more on the unconscious level. And with more and more relationships all around the world deteriorating, Jürgen decided to bring his wisdom and coaching to the people. He started his Inspiring Relationships only in January 2017, but already had so many discussions and sessions with people searching him out for advice and guidance.
His mission is to inspire thousands of men yearly to stay in loving, respectful relationships. Which has a ripple on effect to their Children and the World.

Lily Sanders: Truth to Triumph

Lily Sanders: Truth to Triumph

My guest today wants to help you gain clarity, and focus on your soul purpose. Her mission is to help dispel victim mentality, and to teach people how to use their life experiences to become an empowered expression of love and truth. The lessons she’s learned and the awakening she’s experienced has transformed her into the inspirational, insightful, and thought-provoking author, speaker, and coach that she is today. And I have no doubt you will be inspired by our conversation. Its time to think outside the lines with Lily Sanders!   Guest Bio: Lily Sanders’ life experiences, adversity, talent, sense of humor, and intense compassion has gifted her a purpose to write, influence, and coach others. As a magazine columnist, Lily inspired thousands while writing her own powerful book, Truth to Triumph. Her newly international released book, Truth to Triumph: A Spiritual Guide to Finding Your Truth has already begun transforming lives. Lily grew up in a domestically violent home, and used ballet class as her sanctuary. Performing and producing was her dream since she was a young child. She later went on as a professional dancer and landed interesting gigs as a dance contestant on Ed McMahon’s Star Search, and a Showgirl/Dancer on Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus. She continued onto a promising acting career and won various Off Broadway roles and a day player role on ABC’s One Life to Live. Years later, she married, birthed a beautiful child and became a highly successful entrepreneur in the franchise world. Sadly, Lily suffered behind a veil of silence for 14 years, as she found herself back in a domestically violent home as a battered wife. The good news is that the lessons she learned and the awakening she experienced transformed her into the inspirational, insightful, and thought-provoking author, speaker, and coach that she is today. Lily specializes in transition and spiritual guidance through her books, speaking engagements and coaching. She helps others see through all the minutiae in life situations to gain clarity and focus on their soul purpose. No matter what someone’s story is, Lily is not about holding onto stories. Rather she teaches others how to stop seeing themselves as a victim and instead, learn how to use these experiences to become an empowered expression of love and truth. Teaching others how to hold onto that love and truth while navigating through life situations is what she mirrors and masters. Lily invites us to unlock the magic within, and awaken our dormant potential. She believes that we all have the power to choose the creations we wish to experience. Her personal transformation has proven it, and she continues to teach others how to unlock it, and walk a path of knowing one present step at a time. No matter how accomplished we are or how complete we feel in a relationship, Lily suggests that we all have areas in our life that can use enhancement. Sometimes it can be a matter of your health, asking us to examine if our physical and mental energy level is the best it can be. Perhaps we are challenged with counter-balancing our career with our loved ones. She poses the curious question: “Is your career guided by your purpose?” On a spiritual level, Lily encourages self-inquiry. “Who am I?” And in that self-inquiry, “Am I doing things that serve my highest Self? Am I fully aware of consciousness at soul level as it plays out in the physical world?” She uses these self-inquiries as tools to help us transform. That said, her passion is for humanity, and she thrives on helping others transform. Her purpose is to become a light for others that burns up the nonsense in life. Her message is love. Amazed at life's interesting crossroads, with gratitude and enthusiasm, Lily Sanders looks forward to global opportunities, and advancing collective consciousness. Their mission is to encourage self reflection and assist individuals in challenging their most deeply held beliefs without leading them to specific answers.
They’ve written an amazing book called, “The Pragmatist’s Guide to Life”, which helps readers take a deeper dive into self discovery, from the perspective that, “who you are is either who you chose to be or who you have allowed yourself to become.”
They are a married couple, who split their time between Miami and Peru, while running their travel companies.
I had a ton of fun with this interview, and I really think you are going to enjoy our conversation.
Its time to think outside the lines, for part II of my conversation with Malcolm and Simone Collins.

Maura Sweeney : Live Happy - Inside Out

Maura Sweeney : Live Happy - Inside Out

In this episode, we welcome Author, Podcaster and HuffPost contributor Maura Sweeney. She has been featured hundreds of times in the media for her views on Influence, Leadership and Identity. She's also an international speaker and, of all things, the trademarked Ambassador of Happiness. What's important to note is that what she's accomplished has been self-created, self-generated and self-styled—starting at age 50.
As a child, Maura dreamed of traveling the world, making new friends and publishing ideas to ignite and inspire the best in human nature and society. Though often kept indoors and groomed by parents for a career in law, she left the matrix at age 23 to pioneer her own path to happiness, passion and power. Following a decorated corporate management career and time as a home schooling mom, Maura set out anew to make her ultimate mark.
In addition to her book series entitled The Art of Happiness which is a story-based series to help others grow in self-awareness and move from victimhood to personal advancement and growth, Maura created the Foundations of Happiness eCourse (for those really intent on moving from Victim to Beneficiary, on changing their life perspectives; on seeing failures as opportunities for greatness; on discovering innate talents and more as seeds to desire and destiny) .

Inner Peace In Tumultuous Times (Joan Sotkin Part II)

Inner Peace In Tumultuous Times (Joan Sotkin Part II)

Join me for part two of my conversation with Joan Sotkin, host of the Property Show podcast.
In this episode, we continue the conversation on a wide array of topics; particularly the aftermath of the 2016 election, and how we can move forward. We talk politics, religion, consciousness, meditation, prosperity, and so much more.
And be sure not to miss part one!

Joan’s bio:
For the past 30 years, I have been examining alternative ways of dealing with life on many different levels. Defining success as merely making a lot of money and having social or career status has never made sense to me. As a result, I have been looking for something deeper and more meaningful and learning to integrate what I discover into my business and personal life.
Prosperity Place is my humble contribution to those of you who, like myself, want to experience the “more” of life while creating satisfying and prosperous lives. I don’t believe that it is possible to separate career and/or business development from personal growth because who we are expresses itself through whatever we do.
What you will find on these pages is the result of my search for physical, emotional, spiritual and financial comfort. I don’t pretend to have all the answers. What I do have is a series of learning experiences, the essence of which I like to share with people like you.
In the early 1980s, while attending 12-step programs including Debtors Anonymous and Codependents Anonymous, I began to understand the connection between emotions and the life stories we create for ourselves, including our finances. Years of working to release my own repressed emotions helped deepen my understanding of how we act out family-of-origin issues through our businesses and finances.
I love working with forward-thinking individuals who are willing to implement new ways of being with themselves and their commercial ventures. As I continue to learn and grow, my passion is sharing with others and helping them find both peace of mind and prosperity.
Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I live, with its expansive skies, friendly people, and abundance of healers provides me with the comfort and peace I have always craved. Thanks to the Internet, which I have been using since 1995, I can live in this wonderful town with my precious dog, Angel, and reach out to clients around the world.
Every afternoon, Angel and I walk at our fabulous dog park that has one-mile-long trails with a full view of the city. I offer an open invitation to anyone who wants to meet me at the park and walk with us!

Joan Sotkin : Inner Peace In Tumultuous Times

Joan Sotkin : Inner Peace In Tumultuous Times

The Think Outside the Lines podcast returns this week with an all-new episode featuring Joan Sotkin, host of the Property Show podcast.
In her first appearance earlier this year, we discussed all things money, and if you haven’t heard it yet, I strongly recommend you go back and check it out.
In this episode, we touch upon a wide array of other topics; particularly the aftermath of the 2016 election, and how we can move forward. We talk politics, religion, consciousness, meditation, prosperity, and so much more.
And because there is so much to digest, Ive divided this episode into two parts.
This woman has lived so much life, and offers such incredible perspective. I promise you will find many gems in these conversations.
It’s time to think outside the lines, again, with Joan Sotkin.

Alison Donaghey : Critical Thinking In the Age of Trump

Alison Donaghey : Critical Thinking In the Age of Trump

In this episode, we’re talking critical thinking as it pertains to this election season with Entrepreneur, Author, Speaker, and Strategist Alison Donaghey.

Guest Bio:

Alison Donaghey has always been a critical thinker. She used to think that made her more of an annoyance than an asset. In the process of starting her house-painting company, Sonshine Girls Painting, she realized that critical thinking is an asset and used it more and more. That put her went from a single mom on welfare to making over six figures.

Alison’s commitment to critical thinking prompted her to start another business, Domino Thinking, which challenges people to think about what they think about. As an author, speaker, and strategist, she encourages people to question the status quo and apply their own critical thinking to improve not only their world but the world.

Alison has been fortunate enough to create a life that allows her to travel – alone or with her son – and learn from other cultures. She’s a big fan of trying everything once, be it skydiving, eating crickets, bungee jumping, white water rafting, or walking with lions. Not everything bears a second try, but it’s hard to have regrets if everything is tried at least once.

Alison currently lives on Vancouver Island, on the west coast of British Columbia, in a house she designed and living a life she is constantly redesigning. Life is good.

Dave Sanderson : Moments Matter

Dave Sanderson : Moments Matter

In this episode, we chat with Miracle on the Hudson survivor, Dave Sanderson about
defining moments that create a lifetime of purpose. After surviving one of the most high-profile aviation accidents in recent memory, Dave Sanderson built a career as a motivational speaker, mentor and author.

Guest Bio:

Dave Sanderson is an inspirational survivor, speaker, and author. His thoughts on leadership have made him an internationally sought-out speaker.

When US Airways Flight 1549, or “The Miracle on the Hudson,” ditched into the Hudson River on January 15, 2009, Dave Sanderson knew he was exactly where he was supposed to be.

The last passenger off the back of the plane on that fateful day, he was largely responsible for the well-being and safety of others, risking his own life in frigid water to help other passengers off the plane.

Despite the hazards to himself, Sanderson thought only of helping others and emerged from the wreckage with a mission: to encourage others to do the right thing.

That experience profoundly changed his life and today he travels the globe sharing his inspirational and motivational leadership messages to help people make a difference in how they do business and live their lives.

Susan Young : How To Allow

Susan Young : How To Allow

In this episode, we chat with Author Susan Young on the Law of Attraction, and how to allow more abundance in your life.

Guest Bio:
When I learned many years ago that we are creating our own realities with the thoughts we think, I was eager to share this information with others. And, I wanted to become an amazingly deliberate creator! Yet, trying merely to think more positively wasn't creating the results that I knew were possible and I felt stuck in my current circumstances. I had been successful at everything else I had tried, including graduating from Harvard Law School, practicing corporate law and taking great care of my family, and I knew I could find a way to take a more systematic approach to this Allowing business. I read about and tried every Law of Attraction process I could find and determined what really worked and what didn’t work for me. I realized that trying a variety of processes to raise my vibration whenever I remembered just wasn't effective enough. It was then that I realized that we all need ritual, a system of sorts, when it comes to creating deliberately, a system to keep us on track and to raise our vibration to a higher set point.
I found that the combination of making some basic commitments to myself and performing two simple daily rituals began to create dramatic results in my life. It is this simple system of two daily rituals, which forms the basis of the course and ebook “How to Allow,” that has created dramatic results for readers. I received more wonderful proof of the effectiveness of this simple system by having the ebook/course "How to Allow," recognized as Best of Books on Law of Attraction for 2012 and chosen as a Nominee for Best of Books on Law of Attraction for 2015. "How to Allow" has also been featured as a highly recommended book by Law of Attraction Magazine in 2015.
In addition to writing the "How to Allow" course and e-book, I publish articles on Allowing at www.howtoallow.net, provide individual coaching, and am a contributor to Madamesque Magazine as well as a number of other blogs. I have also appeared on Blog Talk Radio and Law of Attraction Radio on the subject of Allowing. I have been recommended as a top Law of Attraction Coach by Law of Attraction Magazine (2015). Coaching has become my true passion and I'm grateful to be able to share what I have learned with others.

Elaine Huang : Connecting the World Through Music

Elaine Huang : Connecting the World Through Music

In this episode, I chat with Elaine Huang, the founder of Neon Owl, a media company that focuses on bringing positive, inspirational content back into music media, while connecting artists and fans to give back to charities around the world. She left her 6 figure income position as VP to create a life out of passion and purpose, and is now helping others do the same. Her cause is one I can truly get behind, and I really enjoyed our inspiring conversation.

Guest Bio:
In short and without being able to avoid sounding cliche, I am complex and more than what meets the eye. I’m a coffee addict that has been a tad bit disappointed about the selection since moving to New York from San Francisco (Philz, Sightglass, and Blue Bottle FTW).
I went from making 6 figures at a growing company with the opportunity to make partner, to following my passions with $2,000 in the bank account and no back up plan. With a trunk full of shit, I embarked on a 6 week cross country road trip and move to New York City. My passions revolve around music, travel, adventure, growth, and people. If I only had 2 more years to live, that previous 6 figure income job was not my way of fulfilling my life’s purpose and making this world a better place. It was not my way of being the boldest version of myself and inspiring others to do the same.
I’ve been told countless amount of times of my bravery for making such a ballsy move, but have yet to tell my parents back home that I’m gone for good. The holidays are right around the corner, so our Asian gathering with duck, chicken, and seafood will sure be an unsettling one. I’ve spent too much of life caught in between what I wanted to do and what was expected of me, whether it was out of being a good daughter, guilt, or that continuous chase of status and success.
One day I woke up and realized my shift in mentality, which must have been boiling into fruition over time (with the help of Darren Hardy and Lewis Howes). To use my obligations towards my college student loans and my parents daughter as a continuous excuse of why I wasn’t following my truest dreams, or to live life to my fullest and worry about the consequences later? After 27 years, I finally chose the latter. It’s not as if I was paying off any of my school loans any faster with my 6 figure income. I was spending it on food, travel, coffee, my shopping addiction, and festivals. As for my parents, well… I guess they’d just have to eventually come around. A happy me eventually leads to a happy them. This is a very American way of thinking, as they have scolded me many times before. But mom and dad, I swear this will pay off.
Who am I? I am a red-headed ball of fire that left the good life to chase the great. I didn’t have to travel all the way across the country to make a life out of my passions, but I wanted that extra challenge. They say that if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere, right? Well this firecracker intends to be making it, and leaving this world a better place than she found it.

Gretchen Stoll : Follow Your Bliss

Gretchen Stoll : Follow Your Bliss

In this episode, we talk about changing your path in life…At anytime, with the lovely Gretchen Stoll.
Guest Bio:
Gretchen Stoll was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the middle child of three and the only daughter of a lawyer and Spanish teacher. From a very young age she always had an extraordinary feeling when she was on stage. The enjoyment from such activities gave her unbelievable courage and confidence. Being on stage was a completely different sensation in her life, as if her reality took place on the stage. This was the outlet that allowed her to express anything and everything of who she was as a person. It also gave her insight into humanity and feeling the humility in each character.
Her dancing career started at age 4, which is what drew her to a life of performing. From here she studied tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary. At age 8 she entertained crowds with her first musical, The Music Man. Music was always important. She knew the affect that it had on her and she watched how it affected others. Her voice lessons throughout high school and college influenced her to teach herself piano and guitar, which she continues to do. This was all taking place at the same time as the beginning of a successful modeling career.
When she was 16 she modeled in New York City under Vision Models. Living in Manhattan opened her eyes to a greater future she could have. Among a few of the top clients that she modeled for include Oscar de la Renta, Harry Winston, B Michael, Bell South, Di Modolo, and Macy’s. She knew by taking the knowledge she had gained from music, dance and modeling she could have a successful acting career, her passion.
The love she had for other various art forms reflected in her majors at the University of Missouri: History, Art History, and Archeology. Here she gained an appreciation for the world around her, which shows through in her performances and personal life today. Through the academia she continued to take voice lessons, theater classes, and dance classes. It was in college that she discovered her love of ballroom dancing: tango, waltz, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, east-coast swing, rumba, salsa, cha-cha, and samba.
After graduating she drove to Los Angeles with no contacts and no knowledge of California. It was her first time to the Eureka state in August 2011. Since then she has been pursuing her acting and modeling career. She signed with her first agent in September 2011. From there she began her acting classes at Clay Banks International Studio. Her life has changed and progressed in many different fields in the past 4 years. Her recent return from Europe where she modeled for Stella Models between September and December 2013 was a great accomplishment she had always dreamed of and turned into a reality. She is currently working with Wunder Models and Bold Artist Management, taking acting classes at Jocelyn Jones Studio, and writing a series of comedic shorts.
Humor is what she loves most. Naturally very comedic, making people laugh is such a gift and it inspires her to live a happy life. Gretchen’s hard-work, drive, positive attitude, and talent are sure to get noticed. This lovely and talented artist is sure to turn heads in the entertainment industry in no time.

Torie Jochims : Ignite Your Brand

Torie Jochims : Ignite Your Brand

In this episode, we’re helping you attract the right customers to your business through authenticity.

Guest Bio:
According to my grandpa (and we all know grandpas never lie) I've been telling stories since I could talk and writing them down since the day I figured out syntax. In my early writing days, I penned a story where my super heroine enlisted the help of a dolphin as a sidekick and my mastermind villain was strangely reminiscent of Lord Licorice from Candyland. Clearly, I was aiming for Hollywood blockbuster with that one.
But unless you're running a sweet shop out of an aquarium, that storyline probably doesn't resonate. Worry not, fearless business warrior! If you're passionate about your brand and the impact it makes, I'm your writer. Not only can I tell your story skillfully, I can craft it (and your ongoing content) in a way that magnetically attracts heartstrings and oozes personality.
In early 2015, something started tapping at the back of my brain, urging me to look deeply at what I really wanted in life. My degree in writing and public relations was going relatively unused in my day job. I spent many an evening journaling about what wasn't working in my industry as a result of seeing it day in and day out at my desk. I spent many more evenings journaling about what I knew to be important and impactful through my studies of great companies and great business models. The pieces weren't coming together in my day job, so I started dreaming big about that little itch that had come to occupy a big space in my heart and mind.
The itch became this: Wild Spark Creative. The place you turn to when you want to take your business to the next level. The content partner with a heart that beats as fiercely for your brand and business as your own. Wild Spark Creative is the place where your brand ignites.

Jeff McMahon : Total Body Construction

Jeff McMahon : Total Body Construction

In this episode, were getting you in shape. Virtually. Join me for an exciting conversation with with Virtual Personal Trainer, Jeff McMahon.

Guest Bio:
I’ve been a trainer for almost a decade now. My degree is in Pre-med/Pre-pharm and I am dual certified in exercise science and sports medicine. My training style is different than most – by in large from my diverse background and expertise. With a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do, certification in lifestyle and wellness, and also doing massage therapy for 3 years; I have helped everyone from weight loss to weight gain – cancer to diabetes – injury rehab to celiac disease – back issues to sports specific training. So whatever your struggle might be, I’ve got you covered! With over 6,000 different exercises in my playbook, we will never repeat a workout and you will never be bored!
How I got into Virtual Training? My mom has had health issues since I was born. I originally wanted to be a surgeon to help take care of her, but being colorblind made that dream impossible. She had a major stroke when I was a freshmen in college and lost the use of the left side of her body. Then came breast cancer [twice], brain deterioration, a heart attack. One day she suggested to me that I should train people online that have suffered strokes and can’t get out of their home. I thought about it, we tried it with her stroke support group, and then I took that format to the online entrepreneur world. Basically my mom’s handicap has transformed the fitness world and started a whole new REVOLUTION. Virtual Training allows people to enjoy exercise in the comfort of their own home, we save time by not having to travel and sit in traffic, we use whatever equipment you have or want to order, and there is that accountability factor that is the key ingredient to results and progress. With our knowledge of the body, having a nutritionist on staff designing meals for you that meet YOUR needs, TBC is the one stop shop for transforming your life into what you want it to be!

Tiffany Renee : Love Yourself, Love Your Style

Tiffany Renee : Love Yourself, Love Your Style

My guest today is all about style, and she wants to help you find yours. We talk about how style is way more than the color of your hair or the clothes on your body, its really about love for yourself. She’s also got some amazing perspective on entrepreneurship and starting your own business. You are going to love my conversation with Stylist, Tiffany Renee.

Guest Bio:
Tiffany Renee, owner of Tiffany Renee Salon, has had a passion for all things hair since Barbie has been with Ken. Growing up in Philadelphia, in a household of all women, in a family full of hair stylists, she naturally developed a fascination for hair artistry. As years progressed, friends and family served as salon patrons and Tiffany began to notice how people would leave with a bit more pep in their step than what they had before they sat down. She noticed that when someone’s outward appearance was pleasing to them, people genuinely felt better. Affecting this type of change in an individual is precisely what motivates Tiffany to do the work she does.
She began her study of Cosmetology in high school and earned her Cosmetology License shortly after from Empire Beauty School. After earning her license she began to work in diverse salon envirnments giving her the knowledge and understanding of caring for all types of hair. She has gone on to become a Certified Colorist and healthy hair enthusiast to all that cross her path. In 2014, Tiffany Renee’ Salon was established to provide people a place to enjoy a quality salon experience unique to an individuals style, budget, and hair care needs. It also serves as the place where people literally and figuratively let down their hair and are able to be themselves in every way, a place where an individuals unique beauty is explored and celebrated.

Jameson Rider Sand : Finding Your Truth Though Music

Jameson Rider Sand : Finding Your Truth Though Music

In this episode, were talking vulnerability, honesty, and finding your truth through song; with musician Jameson Rider Sand.

Guest Bio:
I remember seeing a video of Portishead playing Live with an orchestra in the late 90’s. The beat dropped. Followed by an angelic voice and subtle scratching from a turntable. I had never heard anything like it. This was the moment that changed my life.
I grew up heavily influenced by what my family was listening to. Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and the Gipsy Kings from my parents. Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, Tom Waits, and Rage Against The Machine from my siblings. I was hooked on hip hop since ’93 when I heard Tupac’s Keep Ya Head Up, Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle, and Dr. Dre’s The Chronic.
It all seemed to come together with Portishead. The tempo of a slow Neil Young song, the edge of Rage Against The Machine and Led Zeppelin, and the hard hip-hop beat of a tupac instrumental slowed down 50%. PLUS an orchestra!
Having no idea what I was doing, I started researching how cheaply I could get a set of turntables. Saved my pennies and purchased a really shitty set. Returned them, saved more and bought some better ones so that I could learn how to scratch. A couple years later, bought an SP-303 sampler. Then, got a copy of Reason 2.0 from a friend, Daimon, and a copy of Cool Edit Pro. Taught myself how to use the programs. No musical training whatsoever. Kept experimenting, started writing lyrics when my friend Hanz introduced me to underground hip hop such as Sole and Atmosphere. It suddenly seemed possible that I could one day make something from the music I was creating. Ditched sports in college to focus on music. Eventually ditched my undeclared/Psychology degree after 2.5 years to go to school for music. Took a huge risk, and a certified shit-ton of loans out, packed my shit up (including about 1,500 vinyl records) and moved to FL to go to Full Sail University for Recording Arts and Music Business. Graduated. Drove back to NH, then across the country to CA to live with my brother, Austin, in Sacramento. 2 months later, visited my friend Dan in LA, first time ever being there. Amazing time. Back in Sacramento, found an apartment with no pics on craigslist, sold my car for $2,600 to get the money for the deposit, got a U-Haul and moved to LA. That was in early 2009.

Melissa McClain : Following Your Soul's Calling

Melissa McClain : Following Your Soul's Calling

In this episode, we talk about leaving behind a successful corporate career to follow your souls calling with my guest, Melissa McClain.

Guest Bio:
Melissa is an art photographer currently living in the Pacific Northwest. She grew up near Dallas, TX and as a child loved art classes and drawing. Over the years as art programs in schools began to diminish, she strayed from her love of creativity and color. After graduating from college she began working in Crisis Management, eventually receiving a Master’s Degree in the field and becoming a leader in the area of Survivor and Family Assistance. While traveling the world working with clients and responding to mass fatality events, photography became her self-care outlet and rekindled her passion for creativity and color.
Today she finds inspiration in travels across Europe and the Pacific Northwest. From sunsets and sunrises to her unique images from the bottoms of boats, Melissa has a passion for color and her images have an abstract, painterly quality about them. She has exhibited her photography in group exhibitions around New York City and Seattle, her first show winning Best Of Show for her abstract from the Water Colors Collection. Recent accomplishments include a public art display in King County. Public collection of her work includes Weill Cornell Medical Center. Melissa's dream is to take her photography “off the walls” and expand her images to textiles and home and fashion designs.
