A Winning Farewell to 2023
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers won their 2023 season finale 8-5 over the Cedar Rapids Kernels on September 10. Wisconsin finished with twelve wins in their final fourteen games, but just missed out on the playoffs.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers scored twice in the bottom of the ninth ininng to beat the Cedar Rapids Kernels 2-1 on Friday, September 8, 2023. It was Eric Brown Jr, who tied the game with a two-out, RBI single, stole second, went to third on an error, and scored the winning run on a balk!
Mehring & Kyle Lobner reacap the madness and Joe Ayrault pops in with his comments on Brown, the performance by starting pitcher Alexander Cornielle, and several others who helped the Rattlers to their fifth walkoff win of the season.

Rainy Days & Kernels Always Get Me Down
The Timber Rattlers lost 4-1 to the Cedar Rapids Kernels on September 6 at home. The loss put the Rattlers on the verge of elimination in the playoff race.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers scored nine runs after there were two outs and rallied to defeat the Quad Cities River Bandits 9-4 at home on August 27. Hot Town Summer in the City
Wednesday, August 23 was a scorcher at Neuroscience Group Field and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers warmed up late with five runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Quad Cities River Bandits 10-6. Edwin's Encore
The Postgame Podcast is back for the final game of the series between the Dayton Dragons and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The Rattlers won the final game of the series 3-1 for a split in the series with another great pitching performance from Edwin Jimenez.

There was a lot going on at Neuroscience Group Field for game one of the series between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Dayton Dragons on August 8, 2023.
Brock Wilken, the #1 pick of the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2023 draft, met the local media prior to the game and you can hear it here.

A Gem from Jimenez
Edwin Jimenez gave the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers exactly what they needed on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Jimenez took a no-hitter into the eighth inning and struck out ten over 7-1/3 scoreless innings as the Rattlers beat the Cedar Rapids Kernels 4-0.
Mehring & Kyle Lobner talk about the performance and reveal the last time a Rattlers starter went into the eighth inning...with a few fun qualifiers.
Jimenez shares how he is feeling and his thoughts on the day. Manager Joe Ayrault also chimes in from the clubhouse to let you know he had to make a call to make sure it was okay to send Jimenez back out for the eighth.

Moore! Moore! Moore!
Brandon Woodruff made a rehab start for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Robert Moore stole the show on July 27, 2023. Moore, who hit a 400' homer in the third inning added two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the tenth inning to give the Timber Rattlers a 4-3 win over the Cedar Rapids Kernels and sent all the Rattlers fans home happy.
Mehring and Kyle Lobner have a few key points to discuss, including Woodruff's four inning rehab appearance and Moore's big night.

Comeback Cracks Kernels
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers spotted the Cedar Rapids Kernels seven runs early on Wednesday, July 26. Then, the Rattlers rallied for an 8-7 win.

The most popular promotional weekend of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers season started on June 22, 2023 as the Wisconsin Udder Tuggers took the field. The Lansing Lugnuts spoiled the party with a 4-3 win in front ot 4,649 fans for the final game of the first half.
Mehring and Kyle Lobner discuss the game, the promotion and a few other things before manager Joe Ayrault joins the conversation to talk about getting Eric Brown Jr back in the lineup for the first time since June 3, the performances of Stiven Cruz, Darrien Miller, and Ernesto Martinez, a few of the plays that were turning points, and a look ahead to the second half of the season, which happens to start on Friday night.
The episode wraps with kudos to David Hamilton, a former Timber Rattler, who made his MLB debut with the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers rallied for two runs in the bottom of the tenth inning to defeat the Beloit Sky Carp 4-3 on Saturday, April 29. The win ended Wisconsin's five-game losing streak and was their first walkoff win of the season.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers lost 6-4 to the Beloit Sky Carp on Thursday, April 27 at home. However, the Rattlers were missing that one big hit in the game and lost their fourth game in a row.

Tom Flanagan, the Vice President - Player Operations and Baseball Administration for the Milwaukee Brewers, sat down with Chris Mehring at American Family Fields of Phoenix on Thursday, March 23 to cover a lot of ground for the upcoming baseball season.
There is a discussion about the Brewers system as a whole, the Timber Rattlers in general, and the renovations happening at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

Mehring is in Arizona this week as the Milwaukee Brewers Minor League players get ready for the season alongside the Major Leaguers. On March 21, he had an opportunity to interview manager Joe Ayrault on a variety of topics:

Udder Tugger Mania
This podcast originally aired between games of a doubleheader with the Beloit Snappers on June 7, 2019 as an interview with Wisconsin Timber Rattlers President Rob Zerjav as a way to talk with the boss about the creation of the Wisconsin Udder Tuggers identity. At the time, it would have been an understatement to say that Udder Tugger Mania has run wild since the name and logo and jerseys were unveiled on June 3. Rob goes over the genesis of the idea, the reaction, and a lot more about the Udder Tuggers.

The Story of a Timber Rattlers Comeback
On May 22, 2019, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers staged their biggest comeback since 2005. They trailed the Burlington Bees 9-1 heading into the top of the eighth inning. Wisconsin rallied with seven runs in the eighth and six runs in the eighth to win 14-9.
