Seasons Change
In the final episode of season 1 I go over where I've been, where I'm going and what's coming in season 2!
With Season 2 around the corner, I need your help! I need the following:
Family history stories. Maybe there is someone in your family you'd love to introduce us to and talk about. Let's hear it! Tell us about those famous, infamous relatives or the ones that had an impact on you by learning about them. DNA stories! If your DNA test revealed a surprise and you'd like to share that. I'd love to have you on the show. If DNA helped you find lost loved ones, or other family I'd love to have you on the show as well. Adoption stories. These are special to me. If you were adopted and you'd like to share your story of what it was like to grow up adopted, or to find out that you were adopted and your search for your biological family. I want to have you on the show! If you gave up a child for adoption, I want to share that as well. I would love to share your story to help others and maybe even help those who are still looking for their biological families to find them. Stories about food and family history. Stories about the holidays and how you and your family celebrate them. Do you have some traditions passed down from generation to generation? If you would have any of those and would like to be on the show we can do it a couple of ways. You can go to the website www.timewilltellpc.com and go to the Contact Me page and send an email that way. You can click the link below to do a "call in" to the show. You can do that from your PC or your phone. Just make sure to give it access to your microphone. Or you can reach out to me on social media. Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Marsha's Beginning
In today's episode Marsha talks to us about how she got into family history and why its important to her now. She like many other young people had the idea that genealogy was something old people do. It's so important that we take the time we have when we are younger to ask our older relatives about their stories, any family stories, legends, or rumors even. Sometimes there is a little truth in a rumor that can lead you to breaking a brick wall.
If you'd like to contact the show, feel free to do so on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Or if you like you can email me at jasonhall7594@gmail.com.
I'd love to share your family history, adoption or DNA stories and right now I'm looking for stories about food and family history! How do the two go together? Things your family may have eaten that could have been passed down for generations? Food ties us all together, we use it in so many ways to gather, I want to hear about your experiences. Reach out to me through the ways listed above or leave a voice message at the link below.

Ethnicity Estimates
In this episode we discuss ethnicity estimates! I know a lot of you are interested in this, due to the popularity of the DNA tests. This past week Ancestry DNA put out their updated ethnicity results and I share my old and new results from them as well as MyHeritage and FTDNA (family tree DNA). We talk about the differences, why they are different and what exactly does an ethnicity estimate mean?
Also, I put out a call for you to use your voice message feature to leave your short spooky family history story!! The link is below and as I stated in the episode it will be large, you can't miss it! If you have trouble with it don't hesitate to ask me about it on social media. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
I'm also looking for your family history, DNA and adoption stories as always, but don't forget about the holiday stories! I LOVE the holidays and I am excited to talk with you about your memories of holidays gone by or any story you have of how they were celebrated in your family through the years. Also, don't forget we need those food and family history stories!!

The Start of a Journey
Every journey has to begin somewhere. In this episode Mitchell shares the beginning of his journey. I hope that other young people will get interested in their family histories as well. Start the journey with your grandparents, as Mitchell has done. We had already recorded this episode once and there were issues with the recording so we had to record it again. Everything happens for a reason, and Mitchell had more information to share!
I hope that Mitchell's journey shows you that even if someone in your family has done your family tree, there is always work that you can do as well. It never hurts to double check facts and more than that, get to know your ancestors for yourself. Learn their stories so you can see how their lives have impacted yours today. There is always something fun and exciting to find even when it seems the "work is done".
I hope you enjoy the episode and remember if you'd like to be on the show contact me on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook and we can work out the details!

Explore Your Family Forest
In this episode we talk about the importance of doing sideways research, or what I like to call exploring your family forest. I'll share some personal stories of my family and how to start working on your family forest.
Also, with the holidays coming up soon I'm looking for people who want to share their stories of family history, food, culture and the holidays! Tell us all about your holiday traditions! I can't wait to hear these and to share them! If you would like to share your story, please contact me on any of our social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter or you can email me at jasonhall7594@gmail.com. Also, you can click the link below and leave a voice message from your phone, please make sure to leave an email or something for me to get back to you at.
