Welcome to the next episode of Tranquil Dreams Podcast. There was an unexpected hiatus the last month or so as festival coverage took over most of my time. Things are getting back to normal as the next week should see the the next few episodes to catch up and brings things back on track. The first to kick things off is the July recap for the What's Up which covers Weeks 28 to 31.

Everything is relatively back in action as I finish up a graphic novel that I started at the beginning of the year, played a Kickstarter demo which is still available on Steam and watched and rewatched a multitude of films with a highlight on the Fear Street Trilogy while TV is very much in action as I started a lot of new shows and finished almost equally the same amount of TV series and shows. A lot of good stuff overall throughout the month!

This episode, I talk about the first impressions of Want, a novel that I started and dive into an overview of the gaming franchise The Room before discussing its latest game, The Room 4: Old Sins finally ported to PC after 2 years released on mobile. In terms of movie, its a look at the new Netflix film Good on Paper and some rewatches and sequels while TV is a quick talk about my thoughts on the latest Netflix Chinese series The Rational Life as well as the second season of Too Hot to Handle and the first Amazon Prime series that I watched and finished obviously!

Everything is completely back in action as I wrap up reading Lost Girls and Love Hotels and draw a quick comparison to its movie adaptation of the same name in the watching section. This episode, We dive into Week 22 of What's Up 2021 as we again skip over reading and dive into my thoughts on the 2017 narrative game Night in the Woods as I wrap it up. I look into a suggestive sounding Hong Kong action comedy that isn't completely what it sounds like. The last part that takes up a lot of focus is binging as I talk about a new series that I absolutely adore while sharing some thoughts on Netflix Taiwanese series Detention, Chinese high school series Please Classmate and Chinese romance drama series Love Scenery as those are finished up.

This episode, we take a look at the very quick weekly recap of Week 18 for What's Up 2021 as we check out the one or two things that I've been reading, watching, playing and binging. There's some potential plans and directions for sections while also giving an update on the TV binging situation with some of the shows that are still going on. 

In this episode, I take a look at what I've been reading, watching, playing and binging on Week 17 of 2021. Reading is a little uneventful however among the many things talked about in the other sections, some of the highlights are talking about what makes Dumplin' a worthy rewatch, a capsule review of Oscar-nominated Chinese film Better Days as well a dive into the wrap-up of Chinese idol survival competition Produce Camp 2021 and their new temporary boy group INTO1. I also share some upcoming plans on new discussion topics on my mind lately to add some variety. 

In this next episode, its time to go back to a weekly recap for the What's Up segment as I discuss what I've been currently reading, playing, watching and binging. This past week had a few film rewatches and a discussion of my love for Netflix guilty pleasure TV as well as my thoughts on some Chinese TV series that I wrapped up: A Murderous Affair in Horizon Tower and The Sword and the Brocade. Some of the few things that I discussed in this episode along with a touch on the lesser categories this week in reading and playing.
