Two Gays Watch
By Zacary Landolt & Arron Holman
Join hosts, Zacary Landolt and Arron Holman, as every episode they laugh, Kiki and just generally act a fool, while discussing movies, tv shows and more! And be sure to stick around for the GAY-O-METER segment, where they determine just how GAY each thing that they watch is!

Two Gays Watch Jul 28, 2023

116. Barbie
Arron and Zacary join forces to talk about the candy colored fantasy, concocted by Greta Gerwig. They discuss the sets, the costumes, the cast, and even reveal which Barbie they would want to be!
And of course, they reveal just how GAY the film Barbie is on their “Gay-o-meter”!

115. 2023 Pride Special!

114. The First Wives Club
This movie has been on the two gays movie wishlist for quite some time, and they’re so excited to get into all of the ins and outs of this 90s gay classic starring Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, and Diane Keaton.
Arron says that when he watched the movie he believed it was the most “Zacary” movie that’s been watched on the pod so far. And he’s not wrong….I mean you have NYC, actresses galore, and even a closing musical number. It’s a marvel. Still a classic.
And to close out the show, and just in time for its release this week, the two gays watch the trailer to the second season of Schmigadoon! This time trading in hoop skirts and classic musical theatre, for fishnets, splits, and sultry sexuality. The gays are here for it!

113. 95th Academy Awards POST SHOW SPECIAL
Arron and Zacary do some midnight podcasting, as they meet up right after the closing of awards season 2023, with a chat about the 95th annual Academy Awards.
They talk about the historic sweep that Everything Everywhere All At Once experienced, the mini sweep for All Quiet on the Western Front, and all the other films that surprisingly went home empty handed.
They also get into the musical performances, Michelle Yeoh's star moment, and Zacary gushes over the surprise appearance of Jenny the donkey, from The Banshees of Inisherin
To close things out, they give some dream overdue performers that they would love to see awarded with their own golden statues in the future.

112. Coyote Ugly
From the bar choreography, to the potential star power of Piper Perabo, and the Leann Rimes of it all, they go into EVERYTHING!
The insanely thin plot holes are definitely plentiful, but does it even matter? No. The gays say no.
This movie was such a joy to talk about, and the two gays are just glad to be back with a new episode to share with you all. So grab a shot Johnny, Jack, or Jose. All their favorite men. And let’s light some bar tops on fire! (Except not really. This movie is WILD)

111. The Two Gays Catch Up

110. Gay Time Capsule: 2022
This has been quite a year for content, and they’re choosing what they think should be remembered from 2022. Arron and Zacary have compiled a list that includes everything from movies, to tv shows, from favorite performers, to the content that most flopped for them this year. Some of their choices are even the same! And of course, they surprise each other for one more segment of “Two Gays Watch Something” for 2022!
So pop the bubbly, put on something shiny, and cozy up with the gays, as they ring in 2023!

109. The Preacher’s Wife

108. Dolly Parton's Mountain Magic Christmas
But before they get into their chat about the new NBC special, they have a chat about the second season of The White Lotus, that just wrapped up the weekend before recording. Tune in to hear their thoughts (spoiler alert!) about the finale, as well as, their dream castings for season three.
And as a special tribute to Dolly, both of the gays will be playing clips featuring the country icon, in the closing segment, "Two Gays Watch Something"!
So settle in with some hot cocoa, a warm blanket, and less cynicism than needed, for this special episode!
Also, Zacary promises he didn't dislike the special. He was just haunted by the lingering spirit of the grinch, from last week.

107. How The Grinch Stole Christmas
They also share what they've been watching lately, and Arron shares another belting diva, to melt their faces off, in the segment "Two Gays Watch Something".
So clear your schedule, or listen while you have dinner with yourself (don't cancel!), and enjoy this goofy, gay time.

106. Falling for Christmas
Well listeners, we are officially in the Christmas season, or as its known in the "Two Gays" world, "LINSDAY'S SEASON". That's right. It's finally here. The new Lindsay Lohan, Netflix Christmas film achievement that is, Falling for Christmas!
Anyone who's listened to this podcast for a while knows that the gays are big fans of the Lohan, and have been anticipating this movie ever since teaser photos dropped for it last year. Luckily, the film certainly lived up to the gay hype, and Arron and Zacary are so excited to get into all of it! The fashions, the Christmas movie tropes, the Lohan physical comedy, THE JINGLE BELL ROCK, and the queer undertones sprinkled into this fabulous holiday confection. It's all fabulous.
Also, before they get into all of the Lindsay-related fun, Zacary gives Arron an early Xmas gift: A personality quiz! And later there's even a cameo by Miss Wendy Williams, in the "Two Gays Watch Something" segment! So let's get the holiday season kicked off right, and start FALLING for Christmas.

105. American Horror Story: Ranked
In the first half of the episode, Zacary is joined by guest Dan Bayer (content contributor for Awards Daily/ The Film Experience/ The Next Best Picture). They do a ranking of all the seasons of the AHS franchise, and let’s just say that some seasons end up on very opposite ends of their rankings.
For the second part of the show, Arron and Zacary welcome actor/singer, and Patti Lupone impressionist extraordinaire, Jonathan Hoover to the podcast! He shares all his tales from the set of AHS: NYC, talks meeting Patti, and discusses the DM from Ryan Murphy that started the whole wild adventure.

104. Josie and the Pussycats

103. Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical
This 2005 adaptation of the cult stage musical, aired on showtime originally, and can now be found on Amazon prime, and it’s been on Arron’s wishlist for the pod for quite some time.
Arron and Zacary talk about all of their favorite funny moments, characters, and songs, in this HIGH-larious musical!
The cast features fab turns from Kristen Bell, Christian Campbell, Ana Gasteyer, Neve Campbell, Alan Cumming, Steven Weber, and Amy Spanger. If you haven’t seen this gem of a movie, you simply MUST check it out, if only to keep up with how much the two gays gush over every detail.
Then later in the show, as always they rate the movie on their trusted “GAY-O-METER”. How gay is Mary Jane? Well tune in to find out.

102. Death Becomes Her
The two gays go into all of their favorite moments, lines, and even dream cast a remake!
Also find out how the movie was pretty originally supposed to end, and what other classic 90s film that Streep/Hawn almost starred in together.
The gay-o-meter could barely contain this week’s content!

101. Halloween Ends
This movie has been very divisive with critics and fans of the franchise, so there’s no better time to pick the film apart, and even process it through our “Gay-O-Meter”!
Then at the end of the episode, Arron and Zacary also bid a bitter goodbye to queer icon Leslie Jordan, who was taken from us far too soon. They close out the show with a tribute to Leslie Jordan’s brilliant Emmy Award-winning work on the NBC comedy classic, “Will and Grace”!

100. Two Years of Two Gays: A 100th Episode Celebration
To start things off, the gays are introducing a new segment called: “Gay Time Capsule”, where they’ll pick a year and choose cultural items/people from that year that we want immortalized in the Gay Vault. Categories include: Favorite movie, song, popular actor/actress, and MORE!
Then, after they share their lists, we will take a trip down memory lane and look back at some of our favorite episodes, guests, and even a few vintage “Two Gays Acting” segments.
It’s going to be a ton of gay fun on the pod, so get settled in with your festive drink of choice, and prepare for this love fest! Also, a huge thank you to all of the listeners! We made to two years baby!
