Jeff and John talk all things hot stove as Jeff prepares to head to the winter meetings. Rangers haven't made any significant moves yet, so the guys discuss what could happen.
They also talk to Rangers RHP Luke Savage who attended TCU and was in the College World Series last season. He is also a local product who has a charity Called "Blessed Feet" that provides baseball equipment to under privileged kids in Latin America and around the United States.

The Rangers Today Baseball Podcast has reached episode #100. Jeff and John reflect back on how it all started in front of the Rangers dugout in 2021 and ended with a World Championship.

The guys welcome Texas Rangers outfielder Travis Jankowski to the show. First they talk about the sweep of Toronto and how the Rangers are on the right track to make a run to the playoffs. Travis talks about his college days, his 21 touchdowns as a WR and how he almost attended UConn to play football.
They guys also go down in the bus leagues to talk about all things minor leagues.

Before Jeff and John bring on one of the fastest rising prospects in the Rangers system Aidan Curry. They talk about the collapse at the big league level of the Rangers and the horrible Houston series.
Then they welcome Curry. The right handed pitcher is turning heads in the front office. Part of the 2020 COVID free agent class, he signed with the Rangers instead of heading to college. Interesting story.

The guys are joined by Texas Rangers TV play by play Dave Raymond. They discuss the recent Rangers skid and where the team goes from here. They also discuss how is elderberries did and critters around the house.
As always Jeff and John discuss all thing minor leagues.

The guys welcome the newest Texas Ranger Grant Anderson. Anderson made his major league debut in Detroit, striking out 7 of 9 batters faced. Grant is a Texas kid who grew up in the Beaumont area. He has twin brother who pitches in the Rangers minor league system. Grant talks about getting the call to the big leagues and how he found out he was drafted and traded. All fun stuff.

The guys welcome RHP Brock Porter to the show. He was the best high school arm in the 2022 draft who fell to the Rangers in the 4th round. He throws 100 MPH and has a changeup he has thrown since he was fresh out of T-ball. This was a first round pick who fell into the Rangers lap. Hear him talk about how he thought his draft was over until the Rangers came calling. One of, if not the best arm in the 2022 draft. Listen as Brock Porter talks about the biggest controversy surrounding Texas Rangers players.........Whataburger vs In-and-Out. Fun times.
