Perspectivas: Global talks on higher education

The UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme, which involves over 850 institutions in 117 countries, promotes international inter-university cooperation and networking to enhance institutional capacities through knowledge sharing and collaborative work. As part of the celebration of its 30th anniversary experts shared their reflections and hopes for higher education’s next steps from range of global and thematic perspectives and how to pave the way for better scenarios in the years to come. Dos integrantes del equipo de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste de Argentina que participó en el “Bootcamp de diseño pedagógico y educación para el desarrollo sostenible” y obtuvo un especial reconocimiento por el módulo de 30 horas titulado: "Los humedales desde los ODS: teoría y práctica en el Iberá," conversan con Yuma Inzolia, directora del área de Desarrollo de Capacidades de UNESCO IESALC, sobre esta experiencia que busca incentivar el aprendizaje y diseño de contenidos curriculares que incorporen la Educación para el Desarrollo Sostenible. Viviana Bercheni, economista y licenciada en Gestión Ambiental, es docente de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales y Agrimensura de la Cátedra de Economía Aplicada de la carrera Sistemas de Información de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste. José Luis Fontana es magister en Ecología Aplicada con orientación en conservación de la vida salvaje y doctor en Ciencias por la Université Catholique de Louvain. En este capítulo se aborda el aseguramiento de la calidad de la educación superior en la educación transnacional, es decir, la oferta académica fuera de las fronteras nacionales, así como el boom de la formación de corta duración o microcredenciales, cada vez más demandados por el estudiantado y cómo es el reconocimiento de cualificaciones. José Antonio Quinteiro Goris, Coordinador de Programas de UNESCO IESALC, conversará de estos temas con los expertos Sylvie Didou Aupetit y Alberto Dibbern.  Sylvie Didou es profesora e investigadora del Departamento de Investigaciones Educativas del Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados CINVESTAV del Instituto Politécnico (IPN) de México. El profesor Alberto Dibbern fue presidente del Consejo Interuniversitario Nacional (CIN) entre el 16/09/2003 al 26/03/2004 y Secretario de Políticas Universitarias de la Argentina entre 2006 y 2012.
