This Is Your Mind on News

Tsundoku
Lindsay opens up by addressing recent Spotify headlines and its connection to Anchor, and she acknowledges the broader questions with deciding what businesses to support. Then she discusses how businesses like Amazon, Bookshop.org, libraries, and bookstores impact how tsundoku manifests in her life. Reflecting on her case of tsundoku, Lindsay highlights her experiences with reading (or trying to read) Emergent Strategy by adrienne maree brown, A Radical Awakening by Dr. Shefali, Mixed Plate by Jo Koy, and A Burst of Light and Other Essays by Audre Lorde. Next she opines how books are like ice cream. Lastly, she shares how books played into her vacation at Hotel Vermont.
