Rule #1 (96) Never ever get drunk before or during your recording session Rule #2 (97) Everyone’s ambition isn’t the same. Accept it. Rule #3 (98) Experiment to find your sound Rule #4 (99) If you think you got what it takes, Invest in yourself. Trust your process. Rule #5 (00) Write, record, publish. You need feedback. Rule #6 (01) Dream big. Keep your head in the sky and both feet on the ground Rule #7 (02) Perform, perform, perform Rule #8 (03) No audience? Find one. Rule #9 (04) Are you competing with the market? univsolmc I was so AMPed about recording that live-streaming radio show this morning on @amazonmusic , I said “let me take this invite from @anchor.fm to come back and record the podcast, so I can continue my convo. What’s cool about Anchor they distribute your audio straight to Spotify, Apple, and all that good stuff…then you can start sponsorships right away. Even though I have mad experience with podcasting I found I grew my business faster doing vocals and voiceovers for other businesses via @fiverr , so I focused on that the last 6 years. See, the podcast thing like most of my other interests was growing to slow, but these bills ain’t slow in’ down. You feel me. So I have to put it down from time to time, ‘cause there’s just not enough hours in the day to do everything. That’s why I strategize & prioritize, to hopefully be able to get money 💰 from all the creative endeavors I love to do. Do Your Thing, Your Way

You know people will ask you if you are ok if you are not constantly posting on social media. It's kind of like if you say you don't drink, there's a big hoopla like "Whaaaat....you don't drink". That's another subject for another time. What I've noticed by taking extended breaks from social media, I'm able to do the work that got me here. The work that matters. You must perfect your craft at all costs. That's what brings you up to the "next level". Social media may be a simple and cost-effective way to promote yourself or your product, service, whatever. But the fact is, you still have to be really fly at something. Those are the hours people don't see. And if you are constantly online, when do you put in that time. I'm not saying don't do it. I'm saying carve out the time for the things that matter to you most. The things that will help you elevate. The things that are best for you and your family. See how social media fits around that.
