I was born in Vienna/Austria. I have been an artist since I was six years old. I was into music at 10 and discovered Jazz and Soul when I was 14. At 15 I had little money and had to earn some and together with my friends, I turned my music hobby into being a DJ. I produced fashion shows, went into TV and was part of the electronic media evolution. Worked with Austrian Television (ORF), produced for A&E, Discovery and PBS. Later, I was elected City Arts Commissioner of Newport Beach, California. Currently, I am a multidisciplinary artist; painter, musician, and author of 5 art related books. Everything I did creatively was its own life and today I try to understand the context and wisdom that runs through all these creative disciplines for me and other creators.

Her work delves into the process of healing as a vital biological and spiritual process––a process necessary for survival.

Phil teaches in the Asian American Studies Program at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP), and serves as Co-President of the Board of the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF). He previously served as Founding Executive Director of the Asian American Justice Center (AAJC), Curator of the Asian Pacific American Program at the Smithsonian Institution’s 2010 Folklife Festival, and columnist for the N.Y. Nichibei and Asian Week newspapers.
Phil has taught law, urban studies, and APA history, art, oral history, and public policy classes at University of Maryland, Yale, NYU, The City College of New York, CUNY, and Georgetown Law. He also is affiliated with the University of Maryland Latin American Studies Center, based on a Study Abroad class he has taught bringing students to an Indigenous community in the Brazilian Amazon, his research on Japanese Brazilians, and his decades of work with Native Americans in North America and Brazil on human rights, culture, and language issues. I'm a NYC & Maine-based fundraising consultant with 15 years of experience in the field, specializing in Outbound Fundraising. I've worked with such companies as Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Theatre Workshop, Signature Theatre, MCC Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Page 73 Productions, BroadwayUnlocked, and The Little Orchestra Society. I'm also an accomplished theatre director, and my fundraising methodology is based on how I lead a rehearsal room: focusing on what makes each of us unique and engaging. I empower individuals with the knowledge that they already possess the most critical tools needed to be skilled fundraisers (empathy, candor, vulnerability, enthusiasm, and storytelling). Since March 2020, I've consulted with several performing arts organizations that have raised over $1M in individual donations. Over my fundraising career, I've helped arts organizations raise over $10M.
Along with my husband, actor Michael Grew, I divide my time between New York City and Chebeague Island, Maine. When I'm not working, I like to be physically active: yoga, bodyweight strength training, and long walks; I also love to cook, listen to podcasts & memoirs/personal development audiobooks, and read hardcopy fiction (Ann Patchett is my all-time fave). During Covid, I miss traveling, entertaining friends, walking through museums, eating out, and attending live performances.

Helene has found her bliss in being a multi-hyphenate. Not only an actor, she is a casting director, writer, networker, hostess with the mostest and has a background in teaching and sales. Her love of performing began very early as she tapped her way on the stage of a big auditorium in Albany, NY at the age of 5. That year, Helene took her first trip to NYC and knew she wanted to live there and thus two big dreams were born and fulfilled almost two decades later! Recent projects include filming a new indie episodic, “Peri-Street, some sketch comedy videos for You-tube, casting three musical projects and writing her first play, which won Honorable Mention in a festival! Helene is also writing her first book and casting an indie episodic to be filmed this spring. Her current dream is to go to Paris, act in a horror film and give big parties again.

Michelle Kuchuk is an NYC-based theatermaker, suicidologist, educator, and activist. As a playwright, Michelle has written plays for a nonprofit bringing theater to disabled individuals, and has had her plays produced in New York City, adapted and produced in podcast format, and published in a literary magazine. Directing and assistant directing credits include Beautiful Thing with Nicu’s Spoon Theater and Sons of the Prophet, by Stephen Karam, with Roundabout Theatre Company.
In the mental health and suicidology space, Michelle’s 15 years of academic, practical, and research experience has centered around promoting lived-experience perspectives and reaching people where they’re at using technology. Michelle has overseen or influenced the training of thousands of crisis counselors in technology-based crisis interventions, has anonymously spoken to thousands of people in crisis, and is published in Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior (2020 and 2021). Michelle also provides dramaturgical and literary support for artists who are interested in incorporating mental health or suicidology themes into their work.
As an activist, Michelle empowers individuals and communities to incorporate activism and volunteering into their day-to-day lives. It’s not sustainable to expect that activism, volunteering, and community-aid should take up our every moment - yet that’s what many of us believe we have to do to make a difference.
Michelle is a dual-citizen of Turkey & the U.S., and lives in south Brooklyn with her cat Franklin and husband Spencer.

Patricia Araníbar was born in Lima, Perú and migrated to US at a very tender age. She is a founding and active member of AbyaYala Arte y Cultura. Patricia is a trained architect who explores through the use of clay a marriage of form, function and aesthetics. Her art is deeply rooted in the traditional artistic expressions of her native Perú. She has found in pottery the means to express her true identity, one that is split between her love for New York City and her identification with the millenary culture of the Andes.
Rosa Bustamante is a Language and Speech Therapist and an actress trained with the Guacamolink performing Arts workshops following the “The Unconscious Conscious Actor” methodology of Peruvian director/playwright Walter Ventosilla. Presently, she is an active member of the non profit organization AbyaYala Arte y Cultura working and contributing in many of their projects. She has performed as Peruvian indigenous leader Micaela Bastidas in “Mujeres Valerosas’; in the musical dramatization of Cesar Vallejo’s poem “A mi hermano Miguel” ; as the fox in the presentation of an ancient Andean tale “The Fox, the Mole and the Moon”; in the performance of “Mujermente Hablando”, and in the play “Caytana”, a theatrical adaptation of a story by one of Peru’s most beloved writers José María Arguedas, where she was selected the 2019 recipient of the ATI (Independent Theater Artists Awards For Hispanic Actors) as “Best Newcomer Actress of the Year”.
Milagros Albrecht graduated as Music and Voice teacher and taught elementary school for 8 years in her native Trujillo, Peru. Winner of several awards, she sang as an invited soloist with the orquesta Sinconcia de Trujillo between 1993-2000. She was a member of the choir of the Instituto Nacional de Cultura from 1987-1997. And the Caro Nacional de Lima in the 1998 Opera season. She also completed a scholarship at the Univasidad de Chile for Voice and Singing in 1999. Since migrating to the US in 2001, mis Albrecht has been an integral part of the New Jersey peruvian Consulate yearly celebrations, is a soloist in the most holy name Church Choir in Garfield NJ and was part of Julliard Choral School of music in 05-07. She continues to present through her voice and performances her deep love for her ancestral roots and the Andean Culture.
