Richard has created 1000's of pages of comics as a writer, artist, colorist and letterer; his smash hit Blastosaurus was the top comic in New Zealand. His newest book, Shed is having a killer Kickstarter(500% funded) and will be closing 9/29 so back it quickly to get your copy before time runs out. We discuss his first very successful Kickstarter, how he got into comics, blackmailing his school librarian to print his homemade comics, being forced to read/write at a very young age, getting into the comic con circuit, outgrowing the comic industry in New Zealand, leaving everything to start over in LA, creating his hot new book Shed, where he gets his creative energy from, dealing with writers-block and many laughs.
