004 Solidarity, Burnout and Herbalism
CW: prison, violence, trauma, mental health/illness, burnout, sexual assault.
In this episode we talk about the SHAC campaign, being raised by the animal rights movement, Nicole's experiences of prison and of course the important role plants and herbalism plays in healing, community and liberation.
Apologies for the bad sound in this episode (I had to record on my phone's voice notes as I was away from home!)

003 There's Beauty In The Darkness
In episode three I talk with Stewart a.k.a Vigilante Vegan. Stewart is a human and animal rights activist based in New York. He is a writer, poet and published author of three books (Kayla the Vegan, Liberation Summer & There's Beauty In The Darkness). In this episode we discuss what role art plays in our lives, how young people can teach compassion, veganism, the experience of being Black and working class in Brooklyn and the parallels between human and nonhuman oppression. Stewart gets vulnerable as he shares his thoughts and feelings on depression, healthcare, masculinity and struggling with mental health as a parent.
Stewart, thank you so much for your honesty and vulnerability. This is a really beautiful episode.

In this episode, we discuss love, both for all and for self, breaking the stigma around menstruation - particularly within intimate relationships - and the importance of setting intentions.
