Founder of @gradquo, Calvin is a former Lafayette-Jamaica Scholar. He has several years of experience mentoring, teaching and advising students interested in pursuing education in the US, Canada, and Europe. Currently, he is an Assistant College Advisor at College Quo, helping students ace the SAT and prepare competitive applications.
Calvin is finishing his PhD in Finance at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Before that, he was a Predoctoral Research Fellow at Berkeley. He has experience working on wall street and conducting research at the frontier of Economics and Finance. He has been admitted to several graduate programs in Economics and Finance including Columbia, Cornell, UT Austin. Today, he helps students get into similar programs in the US, UK and Canada.
Calvin is from humble beginnings, having grown up on Waltham Park Road in Kingston, JA with a single mother. He is fluent in French, loves working out, enjoys making music and is a cantor at Church.

ABOUT THE LADIES
Tiana: Maryland, Hanover born, Tiana (@Iamtiana_ja) has been accepted to 11 universities in USA, Canada and China such as Dartmouth College, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of British Columbia and Emory University. She has received over $2 Million USD in scholarship awards, but decided to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Robertson Scholar. This scholarship makes her a dual student at UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University and is a full ride with 3 fully funded summer experiences and 2 semesters abroad. Currently, she is a College Quo Fellow, Head Girl of Mount Alvernia High School and holder of several leadership positions at school and in her community.
Zaria: Currently serving as the Deputy Head Girl at the Immaculate Conception High School, Zaria (@zarii.anna) is also the Vice-Captain of the school's dance team where she has contributed to their medal acquisitions both as a performer and choreographer. She also held leadership positions such as First Vice President for School Challenge Quiz Team and PRO for Heritage Club. Outside of school, she performs solo dances at her church and also helps in the Multimedia and Youth Ministries. She has been a French Tutor at Immaculate as well as a mentor for students with physical disabilities at the Abilities Foundation. In the fall, she will be attending the prestigious Harvard College.
Taylor-Jade: Graduating from Campion College this year, Taylor-Jade (@taylor_tjh) will be attending Cornell University in the Fall. She enjoys reading and watching Netflix (especially crime dramas like The Blacklist, Criminal Minds etc.). She’s also very passionate about her faith, service and trying to ensure that she leaves a positive impact on those she interacts with.

Meet Stacey Hines, Author, Speaker, Woman In Tech
Stacey Hines is an author, speaker, executive and the President of the JTDA, Jamaica’s Technology and Digital alliance. For her work in the field she was recently selected as one of the Top 50 Caribbean Women in Tech.
In 2010 Stacey experienced a dramatic and tragic shift in what would have once been considered “the American Dream” life. She was diagnosed with breast cancer, thrust into relocating countries for the second time, separated from her husband and battling clinical depression, all while being a tech exec and mothering 3 young children on her own.
This inspired her to write a memoir which became the catalyst in creating multiple programs and products to help women avoid the challenges and life threatening changes that she battled and survived.
A business & leadership transformation expert and coach, Stacey recently founded Epic Transformation, a technology focused workforce transformation company. MEET DR. VINCE REID
Dr. Vince Reid migrated to the USA after graduating from the Wolmers’ Boys School in Kingston. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center, New York where he received numerous awards including the Chief Resident of the Year Award.
In later years, Dr. Reid joined the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center where he is currently the Medical Director. He also holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology & Endocrine Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Reid’s clinical practice in Surgical Oncology involves managing diseases such as Melanoma, Breast cancer, head and neck cancers and Colorectal Cancer.
With over 22 years in the medical field, Dr. Reid is committed to the health and well-being of individuals.

Wow, 50 came fast and the '50s are going even faster. So, now I am trying to slow it all down and enjoy more joy, more light, and more ease every day. I can't turn back the clock, but I can move into this next chapter with purpose, confidence and feeling worthy of it all!
I am (over 50) already and I almost did not see it coming. And here I am accepting and appreciating this amazing second half of my life's journey. Like a butterfly, I am spreading my wings and I continue to evolve and embrace the patterns, colours and shapes of my wings that make me uniquely, utterly special.
