Hello everyone, welcome back to Series 3 Episode 3 of the What Topic Podcast with Josh Deakin and Owun Birkett! In this episode we have a chilled chat about the news or so we thought at first... we got talking about the recent news of a zombie like virus being found in Serbia and it kinda went off into a chat about Resident Evil and kept going. We honestly loved making this episode and it went spontaneous and was great fun!

We start the episode talking about the new Netflix Blonde biopic of Marilyn Munroe. After this it was a mish mash of talking about Mental Health and many movie and tv related chat. It's been a long time since AGAIN, but we made it back for Christmas... can you even call this a Christmas Special? Nahh it's fine :P

We jump straight in with a catch up since October when we last came to your podcast apps with stuff like things we've both been up too, changes with covid... AGAIN *cough* Omicrom *cough* and then we jump into the main meat and potatos in the form of our review of Marvel Studios Mini-Series, the latest one... HAWKEYE. We then go onto discuss the flop that is the new return to the Matrix and wrap up with some more discussions.

This may be us for 2021, so if that's the case... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you in a few weeks for 2022!

It's FINALLY time... the time has come to review 007 No Time to Die starring Daniel Craig as Bond, Léa Seydoux as Madeline Swan, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Jeffrey Wright as Felix, Christoph Waltz as Ernst Stavro Blofeld , Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Ralph Fiennes as M reprise their roles from previous films, with Rami Malek as Safin, Lashana Lynch as Nomi (007 for most the film) also starring. In this film, Bond, who has left active service with MI6, is recruited by the CIA to rescue a kidnapped scientist, which leads to a showdown with a powerful adversary. We both explore our thoughts about the film and get to a conclusion on how we felt Daniel Craig's final adventure as Bond faired!

It's been a long time since we last was on the air and ofc it's been a busy time, but we're back!!

We don't say it in the episode, but this is now the beginning of Series/Season 2 of What Topic. Our away time we felt was enough to warrant a fresh series beginning!  So today we go head long into a catch up of many things from Loki finishing to What if...? now on Disney+ to all the many things changing at the moment as well ofc the elephant still in the room (Covid-19) and many many other things. We discuss at the top of the show about a few things going on in the film industry and connected film releases around the UK's lockdown unlocking and Cinemas re-opening after May 17th. We also discuss the PS3 and PS Vita Playstation stores U-turn from Sony allowing them to continue to serve gamers on both them consoles.

We then go into our main discussion of the episode about the final episode of the MCU's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and also discuss the future Captain America 4 with Sam as Cap. We also chat about the post credit scene with Sharon Carter and what is next for her now she has been pardoned and has access to loads now in gov as the now known Power Broker as we discovered in this final episode.

We then round up Apple's Spring Forward event that happened on 4/20 of all days and the cool, product announcements and then finally we finish on talking about the nominations for this years Oscars which was about to happen a few short hours after we recorded (We should hopefully discuss next ep about...)

Big Movie News has happened in the last few days including Mads Mikkelsen signing onto the next Indiana Jones movie, Alfred Molina on his return to the Spider Man franchise after where he left off in Tobey Maguire's Spider Man 2. He is now coming back in this December 2021's Spider Man No way Home! We also talk about the very sad passing of Helen McCory at age 52 from Cancer, we talk about her life work from Harry Potter to Peeky Blinders to her time on stage shows and many other films and tv show appearances and roles.

We then head then into the final chunk of the episode and breakdown the epic last but one episode of the 6 part miniseries: MCU's The Falcon and the Winter Solider from start to finish and make our predictions for the final, 6th Episode!
