Intersectionality w/ Chris Angel Murphy
(Summary generated from summarize.tech)
In this interview, Chris Angel shared their experiences as a neurodivergent and queer individual, emphasizing the importance of understanding one's own sensory needs and articulating them to others. They discussed their entrepreneurship journey and the challenges of balancing administrative tasks with their neurodivergence, preferring self-diagnosis over formal diagnosis due to concerns about discrimination. Chris also talked about their podcast, Allyship is a Verb, which aims to equip people with the tools to practice allyship and emphasized the need for accessibility in all its forms, not just physical mobility. They closed the interview by discussing the importance of accommodation for people with different needs in buildings and workplaces.

Survivor 43 Winner Mike Gabler on His Passion for Veterans, His Survivor Experience, and More!
About Mike Gabler: (quoted from hollywodlife.com)
1. Gabler is from Texas.
Mike is from Houston, Texas. But his current residence is Meridian, Idaho. He spends a lot of time outdoors which he documents on his Instagram.
2. Gabler is a heart valve specialist.
Mike works as an aneurysm and trans-catheter heart valve specialist. He works at Edwards Lifesciences, which is a medical technology company. “I play a role on a heart team, working with top surgeons and top cardiologists,” he told Parade about his job. Mike also explained that there are “high-pressure situations” that occur at work which he thinks could help him navigate Survivor.
3. Gabler is married with two children.
Mike has two daughters with his wife. The entire family has been Survivor fans for a long time. “We’re one of those families that watches with the pause button,” he told Parade. “So when something big is about to happen or drop, we’ll hit pause, we kind of queue the room. I’ll ask my two daughters and my wife what they think. We all make our best guess. And then we hit play.”
4. Gabler was the oldest contestant on ‘Survivor 43’.
At 52 years old, Mike is the oldest contestant on Survivor 43. The second-oldest contestant is 43-year-old Nneka Ejere, who is on a different tribe than Mike. By comparison, the youngest contestant on the season was Mike’s Baka tribemate, 19-year-old Sami Layadi. Mike is now the second oldest player to win Survivor.
5. Gabler grew up in a military family
Mike’s father was a Green Beret. Gabler played Survivor in honor of veterans who are suffering from PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. After the final tribal council, he announced that he’d be donating his $1 million to people who fought for our country like his family members

Erin Moriarty from CBS News on the curious case of Crosley Green
About Crosley (quoted from Crowell.com, ):
On September 5, 1990, an all-white jury convicted Mr. Green of the first-degree murder of Charles “Chip” Flynn, Jr., a 22-year-old man in Titusville, Fla., and sentenced him to death. Mr. Green was convicted on the testimony of a single eyewitness, the victim’s ex-girlfriend, who identified Mr. Green as the perpetrator. In 2009, Crowell won Mr. Green’s release from death row, and he was resentenced to life in prison. On July 20, 2018, Crowell secured a critical victory in the case when a federal court in Orlando, Fla., granted Mr. Green’s petition for habeas corpus and ordered that he be released or provided a new trial.
"The court found that Mr. Green’s constitutional rights were violated when Brevard County, Fla., prosecutors withheld witness interview notes that said the first two responding law enforcement officers told the prosecutor that they concluded the victim’s ex-girlfriend—not Mr. Green—committed the crime. But the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals reversed Mr. Green’s victory, ruling that prosecutors did not need to disclose material exculpatory evidence to defense counsel because it would not have been admissible at trial. "It’s a fight for freedom, and the fight isn’t over until freedom is achieved,” said partner Keith Harrison. “We intend to approach Governor DeSantis and the parole board. We hope to have a conversation about why Mr. Green deserves to be free. We know Governor DeSantis is a law and order governor who is passionate about justice. We believe he will see that Crosley deserves to be free.” (all legal appeals have been exhausted)
About Erin (quoted from CBSNews.com):
Erin Moriarty, a CBS News journalist for three decades, has been a correspondent on "48 Hours" since 1990. In addition to reporting for "48 Hours," Moriarty's work is featured on all CBS News broadcasts and platforms, including "CBS Sunday Morning," "CBS Mornings" and the CBS News Streaming Network.
Moriarty is also the host of the true-crime podcast, "My Life of Crime."
At CBS News, Moriarty has covered some of the biggest crime and justice stories of our time, including the wrongful conviction of Ryan Ferguson, the death of JonBenet Ramsey, the ongoing story of millionaire Robert Durst, and the controversial case of Brooke Skylar Richardson, a young Ohio woman tried – and acquitted – for murdering her newborn baby.

Why Do we Need Height- adjustable, Powered, Adult-sized Changing Tables in Accessible Bathrooms? with Changing Spaces
Changing Spaces Campaign is a US based initiative born out the UK movement, Changing Places, that brings awareness to need adult-sized changing tables and lifts in family restrooms.
Currently, standard family restrooms are equipped with baby changing tables that are unsafe for anyone over 20 pounds, thus creating a hazard to those that exceed this limit. Due to these inadequate toileting areas caregivers are forced to leave their loved ones soiled, limit outings outside the home or sadly lay their loved ones on the public bathroom floor.
