Ryan Stang is a native of Hamburg, NY where he still resides today and owns Stang Insurance Consulting. In this episode we talk about the ERC Program and how so many businesses are not taking advantage of this free tax credit for businesses with Employees that were effected by Covid-10.  Here is the link we refer to in this episode - ERCBuffalo.com COVID-19 has been a challenge for all of us. As the world shut down the economy came to a halt, leaving the future of many businesses in a precarious position. As we begin to find normalcy again, businesses now have to focus on recovering and fortunately, several government programs are easing this process. One such program is the Employee Retention Credit or ERC, which is a generous stimulus program designed to bolster those businesses that we're able to retain their employees during this challenging time. Due to the extremely complex tax code and qualifications, it is severely underutilized. Details of the program include: UP TO $26,000 PER EMPLOYEE AVAILABLE FOR 2020 & Q1 - Q3 2021 QUALIFY WITH DECREASED REVENUE OR COVID EVENT NO LIMIT ON FUNDING (ERC IS NOT A LOAN) ERC IS A REFUNDABLE TAX CREDIT No upfront costs at all to see if you qualify or to start the process. There is only a fee if you qualify for Employee Credit Retention and is taken at the back end of your credit so nothing comes out of your pocket at all upfront.

My Story - A Cup of Coffee With The David Schaub - Founder of WNY Entrepreneur

My Story - A Cup of Coffee With The David Schaub - Founder of WNY Entrepreneur

This is my most vulnerable podcast I’ve done on the WNY Entrepreneur Podcast.
It’s true, probably because I interviewed myself on this episode and shared a bunch of things that have went down over the years.
The original goal of this specific podcast episode was to create a way to have a cup of coffee with someone without actually meeting.
What do we do when we connect over coffee for the 1sttime? We share our story, who we are, and what we are all about. I try my best to do this in this episode.
So, if we haven’t grabbed a cup of coffee and you’ve been wanting to chat, here's your chance on your next commute. It’s only 24 minutes.
If I seem interesting enough for you, I’d love to grab an actual cup off coffee with you.

Dreams, persistence and pizza - Joe Town

Dreams, persistence and pizza - Joe Town

Joe Town is not only a restaurant owner, he also loves real estate (He enjoys offering clean, modern, and affordable housing as a landlord) and the financial markets. When he's not working he's studying and reading. He intends to add to his resume and his experience by starting law school next Monday.

He feels it's imperative to always be improving and progressing and never forget to give back and help others along the way. (If you'd like we can talk about the traveling I've done and the cities/jobs I've held) I think it is absolutely imperative we talk about the restaurant during covid, the changing business plans along the way, the communication with the city and other restaurants, and also important to talk about Paces Pizzas donation program (fed over 400 pizzas to local first responders)
