We continue our series on wealth building and offering helpful hints to manage your finances. In this episode, we explore some common retirement vehicles such as 401(k) plans and introduce the topic of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).

We briefly explain the concept of portfolio theory and the risk and return nature of securities. We further discuss the basic way that interest on debt securities is calculated and paid periodically.

We highlight the three main credit reporting agencies of TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax, the concept of FICO scores, as well as mention the free credit reporting website AnnualCreditReport.com. We also talked about the factors the move credit scores and some of the things to consider when getting your first credit card.
