How Dare You

KDrama Mamas - The Beginning of a Beautiful Segment
Welcome to the inaugural episode of KDrama Mamas.
Marlee Barrientos joins me on the podcast in a new segment where we talk all things KDrama!
From Romance to Comedy, Squid Game to Goblin, we're going to discuss it! And we want to hear from you too!
In our first episode, we talk about what, in our view, makes a KDrama and what distinguishes it from other dramas. We share our first KDramas, and our KDrama Rating Systems. Heartstrings, representing the Romance quotient, and Waterworks, the full emotional spectrum, represented in the volume of tears potentially shed.
You can find our Heartstrings and Waterworks Rating Guide on our Instagram Page @kdrama_mamaz.
Like our rating system? Have a show you think we should review? Let us know in the comments or leave us a voice note!
We can't wait to hear from you!

The Way Back
They are behind you for a reason. Leave them be.
Great advice. If only I would listen.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, everyone!

For The Quiet Commemorative Episode
This episode is in commemoration of For The Quiet's 1st book birthday.
I am a firm believer that poetry is intensely personal, and how you interpret it as an audience member is unique. Your interpretation may be the same or markedly different from the author's, and that in this author's humble opinion is the true beauty of the art form.
I have talked a lot about what this work means to me on both Instagram and my website, and I am honoured and humbled when I see how it has impacted those who have read it.
To celebrate For The Quiet's 1st year, my friends have come together to present five unique perspectives on poetry in my book. I have been blessed with some incredible friendships in my life. These five wonderful and hugely talented individuals are a huge part of those blessings.
Polo Lonergan is a talented writer of visceral, thought-provoking fantasy and fairy tale retellings with a twist. Polo has chosen to share their interpretation of "Genuine".
Odelia Oswago is a busy working mom and an imaginative author of a number of screenplays. Odelia has chosen to share her interpretation of "The Space Between". You can find OdeO Productions on Instagram and follow her on Instagram here!
Kevin Fagan is an innovative musician not afraid of taking a chance to get just the right sound. You can find him on SoundCloud and right here on Anchor on The Kevin Show! Kevin has chosen to perform his take on my poem "Genuine".
Anil Kamal, a powerhouse screenwriter, is hard at work and currently under contract with Real Life Pictures in Toronto. You can find him on Twitter and Instagram! Anil has chosen to share his interpretation of "Home".
And featuring Clancy Dias, my sister-in-law, who was very moved by the book and was kind enough to contribute her reading of a letter to my beloved Briar. You can find her on Instagram!
I know you will enjoy these personalized renditions as much as I did.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to my fantastic friends who were so generous with their time and talent.
This could not be a more wonderful way to celebrate the anniversary of such a personal and intimate work.

❄️I wish you all the very best to you and yours this holiday season and for 2022! ❄️⛄
See you next year! 🥂🍾

The Consequence of Water
The Consequence of Water was inspired by some soggy socks on a rain-soaked day, and the choices we make. We are never free from the consequences.
