In our finale to The Heist, Our crew faces their final challenge: the Guardian of the Shard. Their journey is nearing an end, much sooner than they expect for some of them. In the first part of our Heist Finale, our crew delves further into the Vault of Greed, solving puzzles and defeating terrible opponents. Their quest is slowly coming to an end as they draw ever closer to the Shard of Greed.

Searching for someone to aid Terrance after his magical awakening, Garogor and the Seeker make their way to the town of Inofors. Unbeknownst to them, however, are two magi-hunters hot on their trail. A companion is lost, and a new one is found.

Our heroes continue their investigation into the true nature of the portals on the island, along with saying farewell to an ally in their quest.

After rescuing Mama Spice, our crew heads to the castle at the heart of the city of Regyrn. There, the king waits with the key to bust the mystery of the Vault of Greed wide open...

Gary, Terry, and the Seeker finally reach Opreton, the Western Lands. Back in his homeland, Garogor must faces the dangers and challenges that it poses, along with his own past coming back to haunt him.

On this episode of Dauntless Spirit, our island gang deal with the bureaucracy of the military as they are captured by the Noremad soldiers and brought to the fort for questioning. Meanwhile, ancient magic stirs beneath the lake.

Our heist crew finds themselves caught in the middle of a web of uncertainty, as the Deepwalkers kidnap Momma Spice. Now, they must hunt them down and figure out a way to rescue the proprietor of Deepdwell Dealings before it is too late. (But not before doing a little bit of black market shopping, of course.)

In the land of Tolria there resides a great college, known as the Third Shield. This university teaches some of the world’s most renowned scholars and explorers, even beyond Tolria itself, from all walks of life. Even the most dense of bugbears are able to learn from this academy. Tolria’s finest comes from this school, and students from even beyond the borders of Mariton where it is located are more than welcome.

At the end of the year, during the 15th shard, a festival is held to judge and critique student’s work over the first semester of each school year. It is formally known as the End of Year Final Test Festival of the Third Shield College, but due to its rather lengthy name, most shorten it down to just “Testival”. Here, they must impress both teachers and investors alike, as many expeditions, inventions, magical talents, and even in rare cases artistic abilities are graded and occasionally funded by donors and benefactors who wish to have their names attached to these fantastical projects. People from all over the land of Tolria make their way to the festival, as it has become one of the greatest expos of both mechanical and magical talent in the world.

At this festival, we meet four people, each with their own reasons for attending. The first is a student, attempting to win over the judges and just pass this semester to make it to the next. The second is a mascot of sorts, whose hijinks around campus are known to many a student, and cursed by teachers numerous. The third of our company is a guard, hired by the school to protect the people of the festival and ensure the peace is maintained. The final member is an attendee, but not of the usual kind. Rather than appreciating the magical arts of the college, she wishes to have the people repent for their “blasphemous witchcraft ways”. Perhaps it is because of a rejection of her own gift of power, of which she has little control.

Our large gladiator and his companions make their way to the town of Cabin Falls, where a festival is being held. Meanwhile, a bard and a guard make their way across the country in order to participate in a competition with a sizeable gold prize. However, neither group expects the harrowing events that are bound to unfold.

In this episode, we are introduced to our final member of the party, along with meeting a few new colorful residents of the island. Just remember, all you have to do is ask for guidance, and you shall receive it.

In the land of Tolria there resides freedom. For most of the land, their lives are their own, and they are their own masters. They may live as they wish and go where they want. However, there also resides chains and cages. Slaves that are forced to obey their masters and who have to live in fear every day of losing everything that they have. Some do manage to escape, however, the western lands are dangerous to those who are not wary, as slavers are abundant, and exceptionally large beasts roam the land, hunting for their next prey. It is a land where those who do not already live rarely travel to. A nation where even the magic below your feet is bound up and locked away, for there is no use for it here. This nation is known as Opreton, and a man, once a slave, now his own master, is returning.

His first stop is the town of Yesterday, a strange village that serves more as a tourist trap than as a real place to live.

In the land of Tolria, there resides ancient magic, lying dormant and undisturbed for thousands of years. There are many locations throughout the land that exude this magic, and These “fountains” are known to very few, and can grant extreme amounts of power to those with very little. One of these fountains of ancient magic has been discovered on an island, unbeknownst to the inhabitants of the small patch of land in the river between the border of Noremad and Drestar. Not even those who uncovered the magic understand exactly what they have unleashed, only that portals have begun to spawn around the island seemingly at random, spilling out creatures of another world into theirs. This is where our story continues. In the night, headed towards this island, a young dwarf sails forward, following the direction of destiny and the call of the magic on the island. She does not know it yet, but her fate is wrapped up in this small island more than she can fathom. Meanwhile, on this island, a large creature stalks the soldiers of a wooden fort, whose lights from their torches shine over the lake. In another world, a portal opens up over a stormy sea. A son falls overboard as a father fails to hold onto him. The waves whip and spray onto the son, until he suddenly lands on a grassy, hard earth, his vision going dark. Finally, a being of light remains in meditation, still waiting for the day his commander will return for him, even thousands of years later. Each of their fates are written, and yet are their own. The magic of the island has been released, and now it is up to them to return it to rest. Welcome to Young Misadventurers Season 2: The Dauntless Spirit.
