#135 Conversations with Kyira Wackett - 3.0 Grief
Hold on tight this is a real and raw convo for sure! A little over a month ago Courtney’s beloved father in law unexpectedly passed away. Our hearts are broken and life has forever changed in the capacity we knew it. Navigating this new life and the grief that we’re experiencing is certainly uncomfortable to say the least, and as we discuss this we find that Kyira is also experiencing these feelings in her life right now.
Kyira Wackett is back for her third episode with us, and honestly we can’t get enough. It’s like our souls were meant to meet again and connect on a whole new level.
>> Here’s where you can find out more about Kyira!
I am a licensed mental health therapist who specializes in anxiety, shame, eating disorders and trauma. My focus in my work is on supporting people in writing their own stories and letting go of shame and shoulds. #126 SisterChat First Time Failure Fears
Always learning, always growing... Should have been a t shirt design guru!
#125 Conversations with Erica Olenski Johansen
We had to most incredible chat with Erica! It was inspiring, relatable and left us feeling like we see the world in a new light!
Here's Erica's Bio - this episode isn't to be missed!!
After spending a career in healthcare communications, I found myself going into the COVID-19 quarantine as a single mom, primary caregiver, and health advocate for my son who is now a brain cancer and stroke survivor after being diagnosed at only 5-months-old. While he was undergoing treatment, I navigated - and ultimately left - the chaos of an abusive marriage all while losing my hair to an autoimmune condition called Alopecia Universalis. My personal healing journey from these traumatic experiences fueled the preservation of self-care and resulted in both the lifetime achievement of completing a full Ironman triathlon and also founding a nonprofit organization, in honor of my son's complex healthcare experience, to sustainably provide access to coloring supplies and art to help families navigate and heal their trauma during inpatient hospitalizations and rehab.
#123 Sisterchat Yes Day!
Courtney's got the go slows, she can't get out of her own way and she hasn't got the magic solution to pop back over to positively easy town!
We discuss the idea of doing a yes day with the kids!
OMG the idea of that has Fiona stressing about where her kids might take her!
Have you done a yes day?
#Sisterchat Be apart of the memories!
We love checking out old memories, but how many are you in? Get in there gurrrl!!
#121 Conversations with Liz O'Brien
Sometimes we need to experience things to really understand what they are, how they feel and what they do.
Liz O'Brien is a returning guest to YDP and to be honest she's one of our faves!
Since her last recording with us she has worked extensively with Courtney, looking to reconfigure beliefs and thought processes ingrained in her 'ways'. Seeing the changes in Courtney has given Fiona the push she's been looking for. While all therapies have their own place, Fiona has struggled with the thought of reliving past traumas and found incredible comfort in knowing that working with Liz and psych-k allows the subconscious mind to be changed positively without reliving the traumas.
This episode is a long one and we hope that you get as much out of it as Fiona & Courtney did!
We'll upload the video to our your daley pass podcast group on facebook

#120 SisterChat Pour a glass of positivity?
Did you know humans are negatively geared? We have to consciously work to 'look on the brighter side' and see the positive!
Mind blown! Let's chat about positivity!
#119 Conversations with TuJanna Taylor
TuJanna Taylor is passionate about choosing impact over image, experiencing, and living a diverse, fulfilled life. Her story helps break down the stigma that people/their lives are not defined by the trauma or shame that happened to them and so they can step out boldly in their day-to-day experiences, community, relationships, purpose, and profession.
#118 SisterChat Say What Now?
We're talking good juju, bad juju, talking negatively about others and arguing someone else's side.
Nobody likes people talking shit about them so why do they?
